Hi luke just wanted to say I been a subscriber for a good few years now and really love your videos. You as a person are bloody funny and very hard working. Keep doing what your doing definitely look forward to the next vid you do as always
I used to maintain a library on a strange roundabout close to Poole Docks. It was on the route used by Abbey Hill car transporters who were moving cars down to the docks. I got to the stage where I would the opposite way when I heard the transporter trailers clattering as the amount of near misses I would have witnessed was frightening!
Hi Luke hope you are well and had a brilliant festive season and new year all the best for the new year.you look younger with your hair cut.brilliant vlog buddy a bit busy for the start of the new year.keep those wheels turning buddy you are awesome hope to see you one day Phil.good luck for the future 👍🍀😁🇬🇧 Luke Phil.
Hi Luke, and a Happy New Year to you and your family. Loving your video so far. I totally agree with you Luke regarding not relying totally on satnavs. When my husband was alive, he drove and I navigated. I just loved doing it. But now I'm on my own, I obviously have to drive. So if I'm going anywhere I've never been before, I actually still use my paper atlas and note down the road numbers I'll be using, and use the satnav for the little bits of driving, usually when I'm getting closure to my destination, or using it for entering large towns/cities. I've navigated around Europe, the USA and obviously, the UK. Using paper maps for the most part and satnavs. Its really fun to do. What I remembered and still laugh at myself, is when driving into Los Angeles, and hit a traffic jam, and my first though was "yes, a traffic jam". I literally had to hit myself across the face, when I thought of my reaction when doing the same thing in the UK, I would curse terribly, but not when in LA. As you are passing Stonehenge, just to say, darkness fell very heavily. It went from light to dark in the blink of the eye🤣🤣🤣
Regarding quick tips; perhaps haulage companies could distribute some gift vouchers to drivers so that they were able to reward particularly efficient/helpful yard staff (and reduce turn-round times)? Vouchers could be combined with various relevant product promotions in the industry. Just a thought....
That Avail app that you advertise is a pile of horse poo 💩. I live in Manchester, yeah? Major city and all that. Had it set for a 25 mile radius for a year and all there is are 2 class 2 tipper jobs.
There was. Government sent out letters and everything asking retired drivers to come back, giving cheaper lessons the lot. There was a shortage. That’s why wages went up. But that was also 2021/2022. It’s now 2024. There is no shortage now
Coach in hgv bay makes change . Hgvs should stay out of coach bays in services oaps and school groups put in danger daily because drivers too lazy to walk . I can drive both hgv and coach.
Most likely the Coach was in the HGV bays due to HGVs in the Coach bays. I would have and have blocked HGVs in with a Coach when they park in Coach bays.
liking the videos as being ex hgv driver but be aware leaving engine running even tho you are doing first duty checks leaves you open to a fine just be aware because of all these new laws appearing especially the frozen windows one
100% curtainsiders suck! 2/3rds fresh air that load was. I'm sure you did, I always checked my pin every morning, you never know who's out there being an arsehole. 100% respect for spotting the rogue MAN that would have had your mirror off. I'm guessing minimum £500 now for a set right? It's a great example of always checking and leaving a few feet ahead of yourself in queue.
It's important to clarify that recording does not impede my driving capabilities. My equipment is hands-free and voice-activated, strategically placed to avoid any distractions. Engaging in conversation, even with myself, doesn't detract from my focus on the road. The suggestion that such an activity could be distracting is surprising to me and makes me wonder about your own concentration levels while driving. I have recorded footage that demonstrates my ability to identify potential hazards while driving and maintaining communication, often contributing to the safety of the road by being vigilant. The implication that my attention is compromised is quite alarming. I hope you don't drive with such a mindset, as it's critical to avoid adding more risks to the road. The notion that self-dialogue while driving is inherently distracting is one I challenge.
Video has no image at the end, might have been my phone, which is old ...
It was the same on mine
And mine
Me too!!🤣
I lost a bit of sound as well
Including me 😝
Nice one Luke what happened to the picture and the end 😂😂😂😂😂😂❤
Totally agree , flatbed every time , I always said these curtainsiders would never catch on 😂
A very good Monday evening to you all

Another great video.
No picture from Stone H onwards. Guessing a glitch Luke?
Nice video mate. How do you like the S-way iveco? I think they look like a Scania knockoff but maybe it’s just me
Lazy git, when I was on the HGVs I handballed 10 tons a day...
No fingerprint on the windscreen please 😨 I have OCD😅
Can you explain why the need for a passenger seat in the cab, wouldn’t it be better for more storage without it?
Just once in a while a truck might double man for a 15 hour drive or even more crazy a new employee might need training.
Mmm my neck or the woos 👍👍👍

Hey Luke, which is the video about the agency you use or have used, was it avail, can you let me know asap and which video it was, many thanks
I've had Avail for a year. Good job I don't need it because I've not had a sniff of a job off it. You're best contacting your nearest agencies.
Damn It got dark early in this video LOL
No picture on video last 3 minutes

It’s because they are inundated with drivers at the moment. They don’t have a chance to go live on the app before driver gets it.
@@lukecinahgv so much for the driver shortage.

Sorry about my van being in the way at BV Dairy...... HaHa #BFL
Haha think it wasn’t in the way if I remember correctly. Was a few weeks ago now lol.

And taken 45 break.
@@johnfisher986 Nope, I was staying in the Hotel at the Services so I was there for the night.
Why the green beacons? they look odd...
Every Truck has a different colour to make them recognise from a distance
Am I the only one with no vid for the last few minutes?
Yes. I mean no.
😎👍
🚛👍
what on earth happened to the last few mins of the videos? one minute u were talking about driving in the dark then nothing but audio.
We need a competition to get a job at Luke's company
Well I'm out so there's one less to worry about. Couldn't pay me enough to shit at the side of the road and piss in bottles.
oh my gosh ahahahhahahahah

Not being a tad paranoid Dave? If there's no air pressure it needs to run regardless.
not at all new rules for lots of things since start of the year regardless of no air pressure its the law going doolally @@Nickbaldeagle02

You seem a bit too preoccupied with your youtubing to the detriment of your attention to the road
