This is a great theory but…. I think all the new emotions including anxiety came after Riley hit puberty. Just because all the new emotions come at a similar time and Puberty really makes ende to me

As you see during Puberty, the worker inside riley's head was expanding the place, for the others and installing new functions on the console. Because, in reality's perspective, if you dont change yourself and made up with your mistake, you'll probably become obnoxious of failures and yes, scared of rejections. Because instead of making those mistakes part of Beliefs, Joy send it to the back of her mind, and thus Joy's decision of making Riley happy all the time backfired her, and hurting Riley

But then you realize, your country, for example, have been in a war, everyone stares at you like you could be carrying a bomb or a gun. Everyone would be staring at you with stinging hot glare, because they're trying to recall if you're one on that neighborhood. You would be the talk of the town, saying, you've been raised like a princess by your parents and not taught some manners.. This is the kind of insecurities and rejection im talking about, thats why Riley had a problem coping up with that kind of tragedies, because she thought she and her friends will stay together forever, like a fairy tale and a happy ending. And then, right after that moment, thats where Anxiety and the others made their entrance.
Super relatable middle school moment. I remember spilling my first jar of pennies in front of the class. Back in my day kids were a lot meaner. They told me I'd have to eat at least 50 cents or they'd pull all my teeth out. The principal walked in and started helping them force feed me pennies.

If we actually get a movie of her different stages in life it would be like Toy Story. My sisters grew up with Andy, and as he got ready for college, they were trying to move out. It really hit them close to home when he gave his toys away. I think watching Riley grow up would be nice for the next generation of kids.
