This is why I like Mark. Food vloggers usually go to mainstream places like capitals and cities, but Mark takes us into the journey of the unknown. Sharing with us the food culture from places and communities unheard of. This gives us the chance to know the world better. Lots of best wishes to Mark and family. 👍👍 Lots of love to little Micah 😊
I recommend sunny from best review show . He's funny and goes to lot of unknown places or less travelled. He eat many local foods like most tourists don't eat . He's mostly does Vietnam. But he had gone other place. Go check him out
Ying helps a lot too from what I've seen. If Mark is by himself and theres 1 person recording its usually Ying. and after watching a blooper video mark uploaded, it shows how much he asks Ying for information lol. I'm sure they are always a TEAM.
Most youtubers these days just want to offer stupidity and clickbait. Mark on the other hand shows us humanity and culture. His videos are enriching and full of genuine good vibes. Keep up the great work!!
This is Mark Wiens. The numero uno food vlogger who can discover not only the street foods or the premium restaurants but also the tribal foods and their communities. Hats off Mark.
I love "family" communities like this. Everyone takes care of each other and works together. They all look so healthy (probably that healthy, fresh food, and the great warm sun). Also, Micah is so cute!
I don't think Mom and Dad could be any more prouder with the way Micah interact with those lovely kids. A wonderful way to introduce a child to the world without any barriers or borders, just appreciate what you have and accept others for who they are. Sometimes we are just too judgemental to criticise things we're not familiar with or don't like, why not just look at Mark and the team who never failed to mention, praise and appreciate the countless hospitality and the warm welcome they received irrespective of where they are.
mtgsk yes I'm expecting more of such moment from Micah as he's growing strong bigger everyday. Micah i and his wife Ying are really additional signatures to Mark's videos.
I cannot get enough of Michas laughter!!!!! He is so precious! What a lucky little boy to be able to travel the world, try new foods and experience so many different cultures!!! What an amazing gift you and Ying are giving him!
Mark this shows how humble and simple person you and your famly is.. you mingle with every type of people and their diversities around the world.. thanks mark, yin and micah , joel and the rest for exploring the new culture and food tour to us. .
its SO peaceful to watch the film and watch you connect with people of the world ALL people of the world its as if you are a historian ! when ever you write a book about your travels LET me know I will BUY THE BOOK !! i would make it a movie book or a picture book of some sort ... but hey thanks for SPREADING your LOVE ALL OVER THE WORLD !
I agree so much with you, itsmontez. For me, its almost like a therapy after work or before sleeping, I really enjoy how peacefull and full of history theres in each of Mark`s videos. Please Mark, never stop spreading the peace and love with your videos :) Thank you!
I notice when Mark doesn't really care for a dish, like the pig blood one, he says "you can really taste the herbs in there". I notice he says that a lot in other videos when he isn't too crazy about a dish but tries to be polite and always focus on something positive
He did mention about these dish being dangerous. You might get food poisoning by ingesting the blood. There will be risks. Cooked blood is safer to consume. But whether it is raw or cooked, you have to be ready mentally to eat it.
Mark, this was an amazingly rich and incredible vlog. Priceless experience, being taken into their group, their family, as one of their own. Fantastic; cannot wait to see the next installment. Be safe, enjoy, best to you all and be careful with that raw pig's blood soup!
I have to say as a food travel sight seeing channel, yours is the best I am so happy I found your channel I have been blessed with you Ying and Micha. Thank you from Kansas
Love these videos. My wife and are planning a trip to Laos mainly after watching these! I can get by with conversational stuff but these have really helped my vocabulary. Lao people are the friendliest people in the world. i learned the language as a missionary over 30 years ago here in the states and this will be a dream trip for me. Thanks to Mark, family and friends.
I’ve watched almost all your videos whether Asia or Africa and I’ve noticed we have more in common than differences. Thank you for this experience.May god continue to bless your journey.
I love the way Micah laugh. He is adorable and very social with others kids. Ying is very comfortable with other people. She is very friendly and supportive wife. I’m so amazed when you eating those beautiful flowers. Wow this video is awesome and the people are so nice and accommodating even you just met them. Joel is so funny all the kids are laughing. Hope to see him ore in the future along with the Wiens family adventures.Your passion for food and family is just incredible. Thank you for sharing your time and travels with your fans. Hope to see more awesome videos. Keep up the great work! Cant wait for the next awesome travel video. Hugs to your family. God bless you and your family on your travels. Keep safe my friend
This is exactly the sort of video I love. I want to know about the people and their indigenous ways. It is one of the reasons I watched Bizarre foods not for the shock value, but for the food, people, and ways that are different for my own. Thanks Mark!
I still can’t believe you explored the Khmu, which I am. I don’t think I would ever imagine an icon like you visiting my group of people. Thank you for sharing our culture with everyone! This is why you’re one of the greatest food bloggers out there.
This type of video where you share a meal with families and friends is why I like your videos the most. Some might think these people are poor, but in fact their lives are very rich with good food and good nature.
Looove this vlog!! I was just in Luang Prabang and did a two day trekk and homestay with a Khmu and Hmong village with white elephant tours as well. It was an amazing and humbling experience. Thanks for sharing your experience and the cultures of my Khmu people!
Excellent content as always. I truly enjoy seeing a glimpse into this world we all share! I love the way Joel was entertaining the kids. There is so much joy in laughter....Keep doing what you’re doing Mark!
I love how you are focusing on how amazing the food, focus on how you feel after eating. This will help foster healthy new habits and tastes. The healthier the food you eat, the better you'll feel after a meal. ผมคนไทย อีสาน ชอบๆๆๆๆดุทุกคลิปคร๊าปปปป
16:30 Micah... What a wonderful moment! BEAUTIFUL! :) WOW Mark, this is an absolutely amazing vlog. One of your best, in my opinion. Thank you for uploading. A real joy to watch!
Mark Wien's Ur the only guy who can go anywhere and just get accepted ...Ur doing good documenting what cultures others haven't experienced yet ....great work
Excellent video! I enjoyed this so much! Seeing the way people live in other places is as much a joy as the differences in food. Thank you for sharing!
You are so positive. Life will be good to good people like you, so appreciative and respectful of other cultures. Much love to your and your loved ones!
I watch your videos not only for the amazing food tours but also the positive energy that surrounds you. You have a calming effect on your viewers, may god bless your family with happiness forever.
I appreciate the love you have shared with the khmu (I am khmu). This was one of the first videos I ever saw showing a personal experience with my folks! I am glad you felt the love and welcoming of the khmu!!
It is so neat to see your family growing! Micah imitates so well when you take bites. I love his look to see if you enjoy it or not. He studies your face intensely.
Mark, one of your best vlogs yet. I really like the way you immerse yourself and and share with us, but with that chillax manner you have about you. That above all I appreciate the most.
Mark, You said you wanted to change it up a bit with more story oriented vlogs I believe. You sir have hit your stride! This is better than any produced (main stream) program in my opinion: no fluff and pure love. I don't know if you can produce content like this all the time but this first half was by far the most perfect example of pure food and culture I have seen, perhaps ever. You are truly blessed and you bless us all through your passion. Thank you.

That’s true i think he should be getting more subscribers than the other food vloggers he deserve it
I recommend sunny from best review show . He's funny and goes to lot of unknown places or less travelled. He eat many local foods like most tourists don't eat . He's mostly does Vietnam. But he had gone other place. Go check him out
Best ever food review ***
Micah needs a brother or sister, even though that would make traveling even more complicated.
I admire how Marks wife comfortably settles in the background. She's supportive in her own way ♥️
Ying helps a lot too from what I've seen. If Mark is by himself and theres 1 person recording its usually Ying. and after watching a blooper video mark uploaded, it shows how much he asks Ying for information lol. I'm sure they are always a TEAM.
She supports him in a lot of ways in his job that we don't see nor know because it's not in front of the camera.
Most youtubers these days just want to offer stupidity and clickbait. Mark on the other hand shows us humanity and culture. His videos are enriching and full of genuine good vibes. Keep up the great work!!
Love it when Micha does his thing in your videos. So fun watching him grow up.
This is Mark Wiens. The numero uno food vlogger who can discover not only the street foods or the premium restaurants but also the tribal foods and their communities. Hats off Mark.
Thank you Puspal!
He's like a Anthony Bourdain, but a one man show-family rated video😀
I love "family" communities like this. Everyone takes care of each other and works together. They all look so healthy (probably that healthy, fresh food, and the great warm sun). Also, Micah is so cute!
I don't think Mom and Dad could be any more prouder with the way Micah interact with those lovely kids.

Huge thank you!
Micah is so cute😘😘😘 love his laugh😍😘😘
He's way too young to even know what's going on. What's there to be proud of?
Navusx- Wonderfully worded! I co sign!
I couldn't have said it better!
I'm khmu I love how you show the authenticity of my people back home I showed my mom she enjoyed watching also! Love all your videos! Thank you.
I'm Khmu too. Foods remind me of my parent home cooked meals. Yummy. 🤤
Uncle Joe making all kids laughed was like soothing music. Micah so cute. Happy kids, happy village 😄
Larry Song right? Joe just got way cooler lol and Micah laughing made my heart melt
Larry Song I agree
mtgsk yes I'm expecting more of such moment from Micah as he's growing strong bigger everyday. Micah i and his wife Ying are really additional signatures to Mark's videos.
Mara India 😊👍👍

There is a little Bile in it? lololololol.
Did anyone notice Micah watching Mark and mimicking his reactions to food? So cute
I too have noticed this!
Its so good to see Micah enjoying his travels with uncle Joel. Loving this episode.

I love how deep joel’s voice is, the way he talk makes me like him even more
I have come to realize that this dude Joel is a cool guy .I like him. Mark he's your true friend. Chill with him.
I think this is one of the most interesting videos you've produced so far. Made for television style. Thank you! I'll stay tuned for part 2👍
Need it to see again and again the part with Joel and the kids, makes so happy
Joel teaching the children a song and hearing their laughter is priceless! Thank you for sharing your travels with us. Always Love.

dat time when Micah mimicking his dad. cute overload 😂😂
Thank you Mark! I’m so glad to see you exploring all aspects of Laos ❤️ I can’t wait to see the next video you have for us!
love episodes where you concentrate on specific foods and their associated ethnic groups. always super interesting.
Micah is so adorable
I notice when Mark doesn't really care for a dish, like the pig blood one, he says "you can really taste the herbs in there". I notice he says that a lot in other videos when he isn't too crazy about a dish but tries to be polite and always focus on something positive
Jayson DaSavage I think that is Mark's way of saying I appreciate the effort they put into the dish but it might not be what I like
He did mention about these dish being dangerous. You might get food poisoning by ingesting the blood. There will be risks. Cooked blood is safer to consume. But whether it is raw or cooked, you have to be ready mentally to eat it.
Although this may be true, in my culture we eat many similar dishes to the khmu and in some dishes the main spotlight is not always the meat.
Jayson DaSavage there are def videos where he has mentioned he doesn’t like the foods. Last one I remember is a video from Japan.
Mark, wherever he goes, he is one with everyone. What an amazing nature.
Did Micah just did a "hmmmm, yummy" face at 7:16? Just like his dad! Man, it's just great to watch him grow! Great stuff as always, Mark!
Mark, this was an amazingly rich and incredible vlog. Priceless experience, being taken into their group, their family, as one of their own. Fantastic; cannot wait to see the next installment. Be safe, enjoy, best to you all and be careful with that raw pig's blood soup!

Micah laughing melts my heart!
I love and really enjoyed all of videos! Love seeing oh hi Micah, ying, and Joel is always a lovely addition!
*Baby Micah stole the show, Mark, mega thumbs up!*
This is one of my favorite videos that you have made Mark, in fact one of my favorite period.
Some of my favorite moments are the "Oh hi, Micah" moments.
This type of video where you share a meal with families and friends is why I like your videos the most. Some might think these people are poor, but in fact their lives are very rich with good food and good nature.
Laos is beautiful country with friendly people hope to visit someday!! Thank you again for beautiful episode.

Micah is so cute! I love seeing Micah laugh and smile! Uncle Joel is pretty cool. Thanks again for the awesome video Mark.
Love love lover everything. The kids dancing in the end was just checking cherry on top. Yet again, another beautiful vlog.
What a hospitable village, to welcome complete strangers with open arms is something you don't see everyday. The children were too cute at the end!
You should have your own show. You're very good at connecting to the camera and your personality is awesome :)

Can't say I wanted to try much of the food in today's video but I still loved watching it.
Mark, You said you wanted to change it up a bit with more story oriented vlogs I believe. You sir have hit your stride! Best Wiens video I've ever seen. And Joel was really cool with those kids and not aspergic in the slightest. I take it all back. Good work.
Poor people are the friendliest because they appreciate everything they have and they don’t abuse anything around them. Laos people seem very nice and very welcoming too.
7:12 Micah is trying to imitate his Dad. Future blooger in the making!!!
Loved watching the people, they were wonderful and the children are so amazing loved to hear them sing and Micah looked so happy!
