He is likely going to suggest you things which will make you end up paying a lot lot more than you should normally. Know beforehand what you are here for, visit those particular places and have fun. There is no "city center" in Delhi, it's one of the largest cities in the world. The closest thing to that you can find is the Connaught Place which should be the equivalent of Times Square New York in Delhi. Besides avoid saying "USA" to people you are not going to spend much time with :D Those three letters somehow translate into "portable moneybags" just say anything other than North America and Western Europe, you should be fine. Also whenever someone claims to be taking you to "the best" anything in Delhi, you are getting ripped off. I have lived here in Delhi for more than a decade and hell I still don't know what's the best place for anything here. It's a huge city, it just has too much diversity for comparison.
Uber and ola aren't allowed in the airport don't know about Delhi Mumbai but in bangalore they are not allowed to pick up from airport. They will probably get beat up.

Your cab driver seems drunk, and you cannot piss anywhere. If you do, you will have to either pay a fine or be behind bars. Blow Horn written behind a truck doesn't mean you keep honking at it. It just means, you honk him before you plan to overtake him, so he is aware. After dark, its preferred to use dipper instead of honking. Kissing is allowed in the public, but it really depends where you are at - you might get a few stares. Many good hotels are open 24/7 and offer room service/food around the clock, but they do charge premium from my experience for night service, this is why one should really plan a trip a bit in advance and research. Hotels that offer amenities like free wifi etc. will be minimum 3 star hotels and that just adds to the cost but they are still cheap. Do not believe in whatever the cab driver said to you, in India use an Uber/Ola (comes along with an app) if you are unsure about the cab fares, foreigners can be taken for a ride otherwise. It just means, you honk him before you plan to overtake him, so he is aware. After dark, its preferred to use dipper instead of honking. Kissing is allowed in the public, but it really depends where you are at - you might get a few stares. Many good hotels are open 24/7 and offer room service/food around the clock, but they do charge premium from my experience for night service, this is why one should really plan a trip a bit in advance and research. Hotels that offer amenities like free wifi etc. will be minimum 3 star hotels and that just adds to the cost but they are still cheap. Do not believe in whatever the cab driver said to you, in India use an Uber/Ola (comes along with an app) if you are unsure about the cab fares, foreigners can be taken for a ride otherwise. ₹500 is WAY TOO much, you got played bro. The taxi charges here are ₹8/km. So, pay accordingly and if he doesn’t agree, get another taxi. Never tell them it’s your first time. Tell them it’s your 50th time or so. Keep this in mind next time.
City center distance is arround 20 min from airport.and also texi charge is arround 100 rupee
