I saw this tour in 1991 in LA, on a drama club trip as a junior in high school. In a way it did change my life, I appeared in productions in college, and helped me to show my children the wonder of the performing arts. Thank you for posting these, as I never thought I would see Gary Morris as he was on that night again. I imagine the tapes of that night may have deteriorated over the years, so to have it available digitally is one of the wonders of this age. Thank you so much for sharing.
Love how emotional he is. It even makes his voice crack. Gary will always be one of the best Valjeans I've ever seen. I'm so glad his performance is preserved on the Complete Symphonic recording.
I would very legitimately negotiate paying for a full copy of this since it seems its yours personally, if thats something you're interested in and you eber happen to see this comment i suppose. Thank you for sharing this
@@JohnDoe-gk7ok I was there when it was recorded, directing the two professional cameramen who shot it for me. We were patched in to the house audio system. And I own the only copy.
@@BringHimHome24601 exactly right, he’s the epitome of why you should NEVER cast a baritone/baritenor as Jean Valjean. That part is especially MADE for a TENOR

Just poking fun....I'm not a big fan of Gary in this recording, but I know he's capable of greatness. He's fantastic in the International Recording.
Glad to see you're back! Always fascinated by these clips :)

@@ACMalleti will, I realized to do that by now that was a comment made at 3am blazed as hell so I didn't notice the big email over all of this lmao.
What is this? Was this created as a tie-in the Complete Symphonic Recording? The quality is professional
Thanks for the compliment. But no, it's not an "official" recording.
@@ACMallet But why does it look like it was professionally recorded? Was this footage for press reviews?

@@ACMallet Wow. Did you do any other recordings?
@@JohnDoe-gk7ok No, just this one.
Such a blatant imitation of Colm Wilkinson
Someone wants to be Colm..hahaha, poor guy...
Bro if you’re gonna sing it good take it down to your vocal range just like Hugh Hackman did
Ikr bro just can’t handle this one
