First of all, thank you very much for the amazing opportunity to voice Bruno for your series. It has been amazing to voice him and I had a fun time with it! I really enjoyed this adaptation of Joey’s ‘We Don’t Leave Behind Bruno” a lot! I really enjoyed the original story that Joey had written when I first read that comic. The way he wrote the story was really thoughtful in making Bruno fit in the original Thomas universe. I really enjoyed the interactions of Bruno with those like Rosie and especially, Diesel and how the story is told. The landslide part of Bruno taking a brake, Bruno over-stimulating and Diesel helping Bruno to calm down really resonated with me. The way you handled it is nothing more than extraordinary. I really love how you filmed it. The camera angles, the music choices and the way you’ve edited it is so superb! Most favourite being where we hear the ear ringing to represent Bruno’s over-stimulating and the low echo of Diesel trying to speak to Bruno is so good! You really got his stress and stimulation down to a tee! Really enjoyed the voice acting too from everyone involved, especially to RosieTheCutie as Rosie and DarthWill as Diesel, they both have done an awesome job with their roles! In short, this is an extraordinary adaptation and one of my biggest favourites of all time! Really enjoyed this! Awesome work to you and everyone involved!
As an autistic, the way you portrayed Bruno in this episode was PERFECT. The stimulating, the calming things, talking out loud about timetables, the perfect portrayal of autism.
I happen to be friends with one of the designers of Bruno from All Engines Go. He is an educator about autism that used to do seminars all across Ontario, so not surprised this aspect was portrayed accurately! He was a consultant after all ^_^
"If anything disrupts the schedule, Bruno becomes extremely worried and uncomfortable" thats literally me whenever something unexpected happens that goes against my internal plans that Ive not at all told anyone else about 😭😭😭
Now that was just absolutely adorable. It was heartening to see Diesel be willing to open up and understand why Bruno is who he is. And of course, there's nothing wrong with that. I couldn't help but think of my dear brother while watching this, who is very much like Bruno. Thanks for making this episode. I loved it.❤
I like the indication that Rosie and Bruno worked on the same railroad, i like to believe that Bruno was the Caboose that Rosie would use often in the states
I give this a total 10/10 as this was such a wonderful story. As an autistic guy myself, I can relate to Bruno sometimes, especially at large crowds. Headphones are the best thing to have to drown them out.
I'm autistic too, been watching since I was little. I always kind of conflated Henry with myself as high functioning autism. Obviously Bruno makes sense too. The fact that everyone just wants to treat Bruno with respect even if they're not always sure how to help (and doing so in a way where no one is out of character) instead of the usual "bullying autistic is bad" rhetoric is refreshing and cool
As someone on the autism spectrum, Bruno resonates so well with me. Not the biggest fan of AEG yes, but love how they introduced a character with autism into the series and voiced by an autistic. And this episode here was brilliant especially with his arc with Diesel. I know Bruno’s feelings with loud noises and unexpected events really well. I’m sensitive to loud noises myself and need calming places at times. And his hyper focus on interests like railway schedules.
Bruno is so adorable here. I also like how Diesel was written. He's still in character, but never too mean to Bruno. A well-done story as usual! Also Rosie is best mom.
This is outstanding, y'all had really hit it out of the park with this one. Also, does anyone else feel like Rosie and Bruno have an older sister-younger autistic brother relationship?
As somebody with autism as well I can definitely say that this is a very good representation of how autistic people can't really handle loud and noisy environments. it all becomes too much for us after a while. so we have to sometimes wear headsets or earmuffs in order to get ourselves centered again. I actually wear a headset everywhere I go. it doesn't really dampen that much noise but I usually listen to something in order to get me back on track so to speak. so to see this represented in such a fateful way is really amazing! and there's one thing I really want to say. I think what's happening here is way better than all engines go! I wonder how the show would be if it was just filmed in trainZ.
So cool that you gave Bruno and Rosie a sort of sibling bond, its sweet. Really smart to pair the two American-esque characters together. I like how Diesel is characterized, hes a tough mean guy but he still cares, reminds me alot of Buford from Phineas And Ferb.
Love the rotating human figures and blinking eyes. You're getting better at this, Nate. 👍 Rosie's always such a sweetie. Shockingly I was surprised that Bradford wasn't mentioned anywhere but I'm sure we'll see him in the future. Keep up the good work and I can't wait to see the next episode.

This was such a wholesome episode! While, yes, Diesel definitely messed up here and was at fault, I don’t fully fault him for not knowing how to help Bruno. Speaking of, Bruno was PERFECT in this episode! His voice is perfect, love his interactions, and I love how, being an American design, he and Rosie have a history. I also love how they treat Bruno seriously and his unique attributes and needs seriously. Regarding Rosie, I love that she is Bruno’s friend, anchor and almost mentor/overseer. I’ve been in her position before: having to look after/mentor someone with Autism. Other things I liked are: Diesel not being a total tosser in this story, and Gordon’s little scene in the beginning, still being Gordon but being genuine. Also, Bowler can go roll into a smelting pit for insulting our boy, Bruno like that!
Aww Rosie is like Bruno’s mom 😂 and I love that … especially the end And can’t help but think diesel is like the older brother who dragges his younger brother into the situation what they had no part in causing That’s all I think when I see this combination . And I love it . Especially the end with Rosie right up probably yelling and screaming at diesel with Bruno just … sleeping

The incident at the lake was epic and that was a close one. Poor Bruno, but I'm glad Diesel learnt an important lesson in the end. I love how Rosie berated Diesel at the end whilst Bruno was having a quiet time. That part was funny.
Wow, what a great story! Darth Will 3 crushes it as Diesel, as does Fowler Hedgehog as Bruno! I like how they become friends in the end, and how Bruno was gifted his own pair of giant earmuffs.

As someone with Autism, I can kinda relate to Bruno as I struggle with loud noises and I use the tablet I'm using to type this comment along with other electronics to keep myself calm. I also love how Rosie and Diesel have a caring mother and annoyed father bond with Bruno respectively. Absolutely amazing episode!

Well, Nathan, I have to say that this was another great episode you put together for your Thomas Trainz series and the story was good as well with it revolving around how Diesel takes Bruno with him to Ulfstead Castle, but on the way there, Diesel ignores Harold's warning about a possible landslide and after a rock falls on Bruno, he applies his brakes to stop Diesel just before a landslide occurs right in front of him and Bruno's shook up about it so bad, Diesel remembers what Rosie said about calming him down and tells Bruno to look at the lake, which calms him down and after Harvey clears the track, when they arrive to the Castle, Sir Topham Hatt tells Diesel that he's not happy, but Bruno explains everything and Bruno is hailed as a hero from everyone and while he ends up being Diesel's brake-van sometimes, I like the ending where he gets some earmuffs. All-in-all, in the end, this was another great episode you put together for your Thomas Trainz series and I look forward to seeing what happens next, so keep up the great work!
Great story to have Bruno in it. Much better than AEO for having a good and slow character buildup of what he is and strength and weakness; autism than a rush one and no character buildup. A good way to have him in the CGI era style. I did have a bit of Autism in my young years and my brother, but we have some what overcome that in their teenage and adults and do understand what autism awareness is. Rosie and diesel episodes of so good and very funny but Bruno, you actually made him so much better we would definitely like to see a movie from you, that would be great👍
That was a great story about Bruno the Brake Van, Nathan! Mainland's CGI model of Bruno for the style of the original Thomas & Friends series looks great and detailed. I was thinking that Bruno could've looked more like a Sodor Line Caboose that's seen in the older Thomas the Tank Engine books, and there's even a Wooden Railway toy of the Sodor Line Caboose. Can't wait to see the next episode of Thomas the Trainz Adventures soon. Keep up the good work! 😉👍🚂🚃🚃🛤
I'm looking forward to seeing Bruno. Plus, I hope Bruno will be part of Thomas and Friends when it hopefully will be revived permanently one day and pick up where it left off.
Not yet@, we'll have to wait for it until the day Thomas and Friends will hopefully be revived and pick up where it left off whether it will be CGI or TVS (the 60FPS Clay-Faced Models).
I knew Cameron was going to make Bruno one day! :D I would like to see him make Kana, Tess and Sandy one day. Bruno's voice actor from the show and his character sounds like Nonny from Bubble Guppies to me. Did Cameron update Harvey? The first 2nd episode of a TTTA season that isn't about Henry. Don't get me wrong nobody should ever hate Henry it's just something I've noticed from the previous 3 seasons. I think Diesel has a bad record of handling rolling stock over the years whether it's shunting or attempting to prove his strength. There's just something about hearing Kirsty angerly yelling in her Rosie voice so satisfying for sweetheart written characters like her and I think the same for others that are dipicted as goofy, loveable or never shown as feeling angry before whether it's Thomas or other fanmade content of other shows and franchises.
WELL DONE JOEY TURNER! Thomas may have a Autistic fanbase, but Spongebob came into this discussion too. but anyway, Bruno was done Beautifully here. the way you used both Rosie and diesel to handle a story like this is Fascinating. when the landslide happen and bruno went into Over-Stimulation with Diesel echos bruno to get his attention, Diesel Realised that he should have taken Rosie's advice and eventually he calmed Bruno down by mentioning the Beautiful, calm Lake. MORE BRUNO EPISODES PLEASE!
Its kind of a lost media throwaway idea from an old magazine that tried to imply Diesel was named after a German Engineer name Rudolf Diesel. Even though it isn’t canon, it is fun to think that’s why he prefer to be called by his surname as it’s another one of his embarrassing secrets. It’s also thrown out there his name can be Bruce but I feel like that fits Diesel 10 better in my opinion. I understand if you don’t want to go outside the lore but I also don’t think it’s a bad concept to ponder on
I love how there just isnt the typical "autistic character is bullied which is bad because autism" because thats problematic and overdone. Diesel WOULDNT bully bruno like he does other characters because he does it for the sake in proving his superiority to steam engines, but ha simply has nothing to prove to a brake van.
@@epiclafiteauI sure hope nothing bad happens to the two of them! If I had a nickle for each time someone paired James and Diesel with Bruno I would have 2 nickles. Which isnt alot, but its weird that it happened twice for the both of them last year and this year.
I’m autistic and I do like what you did with Bruno’s character as I also have an issue with loud noises and unfamiliar stimuli but eh I feel we should never delve into the series that shant named but I will agree Bruno looks decent and it’s nice to have more rolling stock characters besides the trucks and toad and Annie and clarabel and Henrietta cause the last rolling stock character we had was Hector and Henrietta’s sister and they only had 2 appearances to my knowledge
I like Bruno as a charater and all, being an Apsie myself i do appreciate the representation. Only i do think he and Rosie would sound better with American accents instead, just my opinion. 😊

Don't leave him guys. Rosie knows where you live.
Don't do it. >:(
BOTHER
said Percy as he may have left Bruno in the smelting shed with the iron twins

Bruno? More like, good episode-o
More like Bru-yes
@@epiclafiteauOkay that one was better than Chase's 🙃
now this is some top notch representation and and an awesome episode! great job, i hope we get to see more of him!
also at 4:43 lil bro in the background is NOT hotdiggitydemon (dont leave so soon)
I’m very happy that some people (somewhat) appreciate those with autism. As a guy who has Asperger Syndrome (high-functioning autism) this makes my day
Amazing story Im happy to see Bruno in the series. This is just like the comic I saw in deviantart thomas comic adventures I hope we can see more stories of Bruno.
21:53 literally my a couple moment i love this dynamic of Rosie and Diesel being somewhat friends
Rosie and diesel episodes of so good and very funny but Bruno, you actually made him so much better we would definitely like to see a movie from you, that would be great👍
I think you handled Bruno's taking what people say literally was better than how AEG did it
This feels more official then all engines go 💀 how all engiens go is the official one
Loved this episode! Gj y’all!!
Sensory overload, it might not seem like much on the surface but to the one experiencing it, it can be quite the ordeal
I hope that there will be an episode where Bruno & Theo meet. As I’m autistic myself, this episode is beautiful!
Spectacular adaptation of a lovely story!
Wait, is that actually happening
Not yet@, we'll have to wait for it until the day Thomas and Friends will hopefully be revived and pick up where it left off whether it will be CGI or TVS (the 60FPS Clay-Faced Models).
Harvey the Crane Engine [Keith Wickham, voice]
13:54 [train whistle]
Why does Bruno's face look so adorable?
Very beautiful, and a good episode based off another video, lovely bruno voice too, seems like someone remembered bruno is American too
I knew Cameron was going to make Bruno one day! :D
I would like to see him make Kana, Tess and Sandy one day.
Bruno best aeg introduced era
atleast a good side of AEG, great job man also been watching since 2018 on my mothers phone
what happens if you leave behind bruno then
You don't want to know
Cam you monster >:| /jk
@@ilovetrains323 this episode is awesome and can’t wait for percy plows the field coming soon 12:34
Wait Percy plows the field remaster is coming?????
You could get in trouble.
Wow a great episode really enjoyed it thank you for all your hard work
I still can’t get over the fact Diesel real name is Rudolph
I'm not sure where that's from but it's not true for my series.
I understand if you don’t want to go outside the lore but I also don’t think it’s a bad concept to ponder on
I love the title for this video we didn't believe behind Bruno reminds me of we don't talk about Bruno from encanto
I love how there just isnt the typical "autistic character is bullied which is bad because autism" because thats problematic and overdone. Diesel WOULDNT bully bruno like he does other characters because he does it for the sake in proving his superiority to steam engines, but ha simply has nothing to prove to a brake van.
Don't leave behind Bruno guys
what would happen if diesel chose not to take bruno
@@MainlandStudios idk man
@@epiclafiteauI sure hope nothing bad happens to the two of them!
If I had a nickle for each time someone paired James and Diesel with Bruno I would have 2 nickles. Which isnt alot, but its weird that it happened twice for the both of them last year and this year.
He will gone good he is annoying lol
The title doesn’t sound right I think it’s meant to be
We don’t leave Bruno behind
Rosie and Harold are like bruno big Siblings !!!
6:54 Diesel: What? You don't think I can be safe?
6:57 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
As an Autistic person myself, I approve of this video.
I did not expect to see a character from all engines go.
This episode is great! I wonder if Kana, Sandy and Tess will appear in series as well…
2:05 not to mention he was built in America
We don’t leave behind Bruno no no no
We don’t leave behind Bruno
I really like how it has the visuals of the CGI series but still has the feel of the original series sort of
I absolutely loved this episode
6:12 just put him out of his misery already 😂
I read this title to the tune of "We Don’t Talk About Bruno". Idk if that was intentional. "We don’t leave behind Bruno no no no"
Diesel is such a softie
Wonder what his diesel friends think about him now?
@@jvang2623What about Arry and Bert in "Diesel and the ducklings"?
Please for the love of God don't mention that episode
As an autistic person I wish the original series had someone like Bruno
Why is bruno so FÄCKING RELATABLE????????????????
That was a great episode!
The cat controller turning was so cursed
6:13 the elderly break van
That's one way of shutting up Gordon.. Too big for his buffers - or shoes, if of course he had any!
THEY DID MY BOY RIGHT
