Wow, this video is really something! Hello everyone, and Merry Christmas. Thank you all so much for a great year, I cannot wait to keep making content for you guys and I really hope you enjoy this one. This started out as a simple script that was sent from David in the Workshop server, I read it and immediately fell in love with it. Jake read it and offered some edits to help build on the original, we went through the story and created the version you see in the video! I love this video, truly. This has been the biggest project I have ever worked on. There is so much heart in all of the characters in this one, David is truly a gifted writer and managed to write one of the best Thomas scripts I have ever read.
Let's talk VISUALS! There is a lot to take in with this one. I'm sure you'll notice but I have been experimenting with Reshade, some scenes, especially at night are a little heavy on the post processing, but I think they look great all the same.
There is a brand new shed on the railway, I am not removing the original Tidmouth Sheds; both of them will co-exist in the same yard! Just picture it as extra space for the other faces we see at the shed. We briefly saw in the last video but there is a new Duck model! JJe09 and Chairlord really cooked with this one, he looks so perfect! Tyler has been a great new addition to the team and has really helped us out. Starting with a brand new Percy! Some eagle eyed viewers will see that we chose to gave him the motion bracket to his rods, I really love how it looks, & Tyler absolutely crushed the assignment. I'm so proud to be able to work with all of these talented people everyday. Benny is up next, and has been such a massive help; by making the new shed, they have really helped to bring this story to life. Originally I was going to film this story else where, and I truly think this has saved the video! haha.
Let's talk MUSIC! I couldn't have gotten this video done without my friends as we know; I really want to thank Misc, Norramby, & Junpet for their incredible work on the music. The soundtrack will be uploaded as soon as the video drops (hopefully, at least today.) The work and passion these people have poured into their parts is really, truly admirable. I hope you will all enjoy hearing their parts.
