Flogging a dead horse* I totally feel what your saying, travelling alone can be liberating yet lonely. Having the ability to be spontaneous can be soured by the pity of not having those beautiful moments to share with somebody, but with such a kind and warm spirit such as yours, friends will never be far away. But I also lived and travelled in Canada for 2 years waitressing in restaurants, and worked in London for 6 month. Other than that, just online teaching and budget travelling! Volunteering also helps a ton to save money as food and accommodation is free in exchange for your time and energy. I hope this helps ❤️

Myself and my wife are shortly about to semi-retire to travel full time and have considered teaching English online to top up our funds if need be. Neither of us have TEFL etc at the moment although I have an MA which I understand may be quite beneficial. Any advice greatly appreciated.

Yes that view from of the river was Ahhhhh just beautiful. I once saw an owl in the wild it was one of the most extraordinary things iv ever seen its wing span was massive. its glide to be perched in a tree was like magical. It was a very proud bird. Yeah a bit like you. Never let this world bring you down you are proud and free. We all have moments i had one yesterday. I did not leave he house ( I blamed the hurricane Milton ) i was not near it but my sister was. I'll leave on a positive note its just good to see you out there living a life of gratitude. 🙏

Stay in Indonesia for a long time and explore the beauty of this culturally rich country. Learning Indonesian is quite easy, I think. I can give you some tips on how to survive here on a very tight budget, definitely not like the typical tourist style. Living like a local is the best way to learn new things and, of course, to survive on a limited budget. I can live on just $100 a month (not including rent) in Jakarta, and in some places in Java, it might be even lower. I believe what you’re feeling is just a moment of boredom that everyone experiences in life, and that’s perfectly normal. Stay motivated, and nice to see you from a new subscriber! 😊

Please always be careful of tiny hidden cameras in clock radios, chargers, picture frames, smoke detectors, etc etc. There is so much of that going on in he world unfortunately so just always be aware of your surroundings.
