- Hi everyone! Today, I'm creating an ultra glam look on our beautiful model, La'Parriéa (IG: @laparriea). For the complexion, I incorporated color correcting and baking techniques to achieve a full coverage result, and paired it with sultry eye makeup and a glossy neutral lip. I think this is the perfect look for a glamorous date night out and it works well on so many different face shapes! As a melanated woman I have become accustomed to that dreaded “White Cast”. I’ve found that a tinted moisturizer with SPF works wonders on melanated skin. Thank you for using models of all skin tones and types. You are a blessing.
You should try a wonderful product by a black woman called "Black Girl Sunscreen" . I use it. It is excellent, no white cast. I learned about it because Beyonce endorsed it, and more recently, Oprah and Janet Jackson endorsed it 😊

whilst I do agree, I do think that alll the KKW beauty browns were PERFECTION.. Even though I didnt like supporting her brand it was truly difficult to find anything that surpasses it.

I am a long time ago veteran makeup artist that had quit (not by choice but its a long sad story) around the turn of the century. I had not started watching makeup videos until just recently and i find it so interesting to see different artists "touch". Everyone has their slightly own technique when it comes to how you interact with the face. And my take away is this: You so far are one of my favorite artists. Partly because of the beauty you create but also partly by your touch. It is maybe the softest touches of anyone i have seen. You are so gentile when you makeup the face. I also 100% understand and appreciate the commentary. Your advice is right on target. You have actually made me excited about makeup again. Thank you!

"Black girl sunscreen" is a good one and i also use Elf's new sunscreen that is also a makeup primer and it definitely goes onto the skin clear no white cast. Beautiful work and she is gorgeous!

I use Aussie Gold mineral sunscreen as I live in a very sunny clime. Tinted but mine blends beautifully. I never bake, creates wrinkles & I have none at age 73, just a very few fine lines, none under my eyes & I'm keeping it that way. My gosh, she looks super gorgeous, you are the best & I expect a visit from you any day now lol! Thx Spencer, love & blessings to you!!
