Born and raised in northern Wisconsin, big timber country and now find myself living an hour north of Kentucky in southern Illinois. Am finding myself want to bowhunt southern states more so now just because of your super deer numbers. At nearly 75 years of age don’t have many years left, can’t climb trees anymore so I just want to bowhunt deer, any deer and do that in a state where one can harvest more than one deer a year. All of my 40+ years in WI never could harvest more than one. Plus you have warmer weather and wild pigs, my number one bucket list animal.
North Mississippi here I’ve watched almost every show y’all have put out. Daniel’s deer where he glassed the buck in the field with a doe and jumped in the truck and went down a little bit and cut him off.. maybe Illinois. that’s my favorite hunt I’ve ever watched I think
@@Backwoodsnate2245Kentucky isn’t the real south. Southern guys have it the toughest from what we’ve found talking to all the guest speakers and hunters. It’s warm most of the year. They deer have natural browse everywhere. They don’t have to live like ours do up north. It’s crazy! Hope to see you at the PA show!

No it’s not we as south are not watching we just enjoy watching the big Midwest hunts better ! I’m from GA and take the same bucks you take size wise but I known when yall drop a Midwest hunt there is no telling the size of the bucks on video passing by on film and or harvested !! Just love watching them more !
I’m from West Virginia. Consider myself southern with the Mason Dixon line. Only thing I seen wrong was he didn’t put a follow up shot. Plenty of chances Good deer tho
I think Aaron knew it was a deadly hit. This was filmed with a GoPro so the deer looks far than it really is. Deer dies in sight just hard to pick up on GoPro.

South! Give your buddy some advice while filming his hunts. More information please. For example talk about the shot, why did the buck just stand around? Was it a marginal shot placement for example? It looked like it might have been low, but all we could see was the off side. I would have liked to have known his opinion why the deer reacted that way. Nice buck though.
Man alive that ole boys enthusiasm is off the charts. He’s gonna need to calm down before his blood pressure gets too high.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the Pennsylvania show has as many or more people show up as both others combined. PA boys are pretty serious!

The will to breed is STRONG. Haven't seen the exact shot placement but looked like a liver shot and that buck hung around with that doe. Just crazy

This was his first self filmed hunt. He's got some learning to do , but that comes with experience behind the camera.
