Hey @nikerailfanningttm9046. The Uploader forgot to add the newer version the ford crown victoria second generation crown victoria from 1993 to 1997 also missed the third generation crown victoria from 1998 to 2011.
There were a LOT more than just those four that were missed. And even more that weren't missed that were completely incorrect. Love the idea of this video, but... a little more research would've been helpful to at least be somewhat more accurate.
Funny how he labeled two different SUVs the same name despite the Dodge appearing first and then not naming the ford explorer that sat right next to it.

The “1980” Camaro was actually a 79. SSP Mustangs came into service in 1982. The LTD/Crown Victoria was first launched in 79 and carried thru until 2011. In the mid 70s, the B-body Dodges and Plymouths took over a fair amount of the police market.

Just to clarify: the late 70’s Camaro was NOT a police package vehicle, however the California Highway Patrol use a few with minor modifications to evaluate the feasibility of using pony cars as pursuit units as big block V8’s were being phased out. Also the Challenger never had a police package either but I believe Broward county in Florida had at at least one.
Initially they bought whatever they could afford but later on they had to get faster cars. American made cars mostly, initially for convenience. Later on special law enforcement versions of the cars were made. Worth mentioning that each county has its police or sheriff's department and they each chose a model so there will be a diversity of cars.
Interesting video for sure, but there was one car that started popping up around 2015 to 2017. I can't remember what it is, but once it started to come out, it seemed like most police departments suddenly had them or were in the process of getting them.
