嗯，肠粉是我们广东食物，我们广东人有饮茶的文化，就是eat dim sum and drink Chinese tea in a restaurant as breakfast or brunch. 去饮茶有很多点心可选，但是我妈妈最喜欢的还是肠粉。食在广东，下次来一定要去顺德，广州，深圳这些城市吃。烧鹅，叉烧，清蒸鱼，广东老火汤，白切鸡，客家盆菜，椰子鸡， 广东甜品有：姜汁撞奶，杨枝甘露。。。太多了，数不胜数！btw, from the dishes your host family, I can tell they are not local Cantonese, plus, Cantonese seldom make 饺子🥟

Hey, I just discovered your youtube channel and I cant believe I was studying in Zhuhai the same time you were there! Since I was with my vegan friend we often went to this Buddhist buffet in the city, so good and cheap. I miss Chinese food so much and like you said the drinks wowwww, I will definitely go on a cafe tour when I return.
Omg literally SAME, gonna visit alllll the cafes 🤣 and honestly that's such a coincidence because I have a friend who's vegan who was there with me too but I never heard of a Buddhist buffet :o I'll investigate for next time :p

去成都吃川菜，火鍋，酸辣粉，粉蒸肉，酸菜魚，鹹燒白，麻婆豆腐，夫妻肺片，薑汁肘子，冰粉……
中文大有长进，表达大多数顺畅、准确、语速也接近中国人的正常话速。个别字的发音声调还有待更正（比如：时候（shi 平声 hou，去声，中文不用升调的），部份词语和顺序还带有英语的痕迹（比如： 做饭 给你们，中文一般说：给你们做饭）。
谢谢你喜欢中国 并且把中国文化推向世界，我发现你就是个美食吃家，但是你吃的这些中国美食只是冰山一角。如果你想把中国美食都吃过来，有可能需要一生。还有中国美食在中国文化里只是冰山一角。哈哈 谢谢

one of my favorite northern chinese breakfast foods is 煎饼果子. it's like this savory pankcake wrapped up like a burrito with some eggs, crispy fried dough, spicy sauce, sesame, and other stuff inside. so cheap and so good.... i can't find any jianbing places here in the states... sad....
That is super sad!!! I miss 煎饼 so much too...Recently found out a city close to me has a resto that specializes in it so I guess that's where you'll find me in the coming weeks 😎

For me (I'm a northern Chinese from Beijing but I've been living in Canada since 13), the Chinese foods that I miss the most are hotpot, various types of noodles (no matter cold or hot, made from wheat or from rice, they're all delicious), various types of congee or porridge (I especially like the Pi Dan Shou Rou Zhou, or rice congee with lean meat shards and preserved egg shards), lamb skewers, jianbing fried pancake, steamed buns, fried buns. I haven't tried that many southern foods, and I'd like to try Changfen someday.
