What an interesting journey you went on. Very inventive, just like the master himself. Well done.
Demonstrates so well the genius of Zappa unconstrained by the musical establishment. This demonstration requires a great performer with the same mindset.
How can this have only 10k views!?!
Bravo! Love it. Very zappaesque. Frank would be proud.
If you edit a DVD / CD I would pay for it.
This job need a deep understanding of the FZ music which is then a first degree and then a tremendous practise which is also a second step and then a real fan attitude which makes you so unic. BRAVO !
This is one of the most absurdly beautiful things I've ever heard.
That's Zappa...
Sankt Alfonso would be proud of you, top👍
40 minutes de bonheur, merci.
I would love to be able to buy these on DVD
I got my first one
Tremendous performance, which begs the question: why on earth was the snare drum not muffled?
I'd have gone straight up there and released it
😨
@@fiachra4266 Takin' charge dude!
Releasing the snares is called "throwing them off." (I think).
When I first noticed, I thought she had blown out the mic...!
Risa is the best.
terrific 😍🤩🤗

Starting at 15:28 she does a real killer Inca Roads from album One Size Fits All. And she has the same kind of absurd sense of humour as Frank Zappa had when he played the bicycle as an instruments in his student years... Brilliant
Wow!!! The present day composer (and pianist) refuses to die.
I'm supposed to be working putting up shelves and stuff. Came on here this morning, found part one, and now at the end of part two, still haven't eaten my breakfast yet and I see there is a part 3 to come. This is just so good. Frank wrote his music with this in mind. He used the group so he could get to play it, and of course, play guitar. My 11 year old nephew is a very good pianist who just keeps developing, just wait until he hears this.
Absolutely awesome, Riza
what a ride--she is just a godsend for me--thank you, riza
Dit is de nieuwe Generatie FZ fans Ik ben67 en Hem voor het eerst in 1967 gezien en vooral gehoord Was en ben nog steedsfan.Prachtig wat dit Meisje laat horen
Lovely work on Inca Roads!
this is amazing
Love how the chaos of Let's Move To Cleveland is controlled and reeled in by Watermelon! This is a mind-blowing journey of sound and emotion if you let Frank's music take you to places where the universe is free for discovery without any forms of limitation! Awesome delivery, Risa!
Fantastic performance by a very talented lass. Frank would have loved her attention to detail and dynamics I could listen to her all day. Salute to this young musician..
Soooo brilliant. Loved 'Baltimore, 'Cleveland, "Watermelon...hell...loved em' all.
Inca Roads was fantastic!
Nothing short of brilliant, I'm looking for the album.
I love the reference to the keys comping from the New Age version of The Back Page from the '88 tour. Such attention to detail. I adore this.
I just can't get over this
The kazoo at the end put the *eyebrows* on it. Frank would be proud! Thank you, Risa!
Wow... fantastic
I was just listening when I heard the interruption at the beginning of Whats New In Baltimore, so I had a look. Ha ha, "let's try that again"; a truly Zappaesque moment. And later the flying duck?! How am I supposed to get any work done?
Music is the best!
This is excellent. Such a shame that the snare drum wasn't muted during your performance :(
corrèque.. The Black Page is a treat and the other stuff kind of stupendous. Brava !
Inca roads! houmpfffff ! brilliant.
Still listening
Excellent performance. Congratulations.

Absolutely amazing! Loved the Inca-Purple lagoon-Envelopes section.
Unbelievable that you memorized it all. I can see you must really dig FZ to have played all that!
That’s sublime talent.
Sublime , Frank would be pleased , wonderful interpretation , thank you.

暗譜もすごい。
🙌🙌
Watermelon>Yo Mama.... nice.
The snare drum doesn't bother me. Hardly notice it. Besides, Frank was a big fan of uncontrolled randomness.
It would sound better with the snares turned off
