The ending was actually pretty damn clever. It did something to us that no other movie has done before. Think about it, Throughout the whole movie, after the internet went out, all Rose wanted to do was find out what happened to the end of the show "Friends" and was WONDERING about the characters in the show. The movie ended with her watching the end of "Friends," leaving us now wondering about the other characters in the movie, immediately having us trade places with, Rose without us even realizing it. When the movie ended, if you started asking questions like, "did the other characters make it to the bunker or not" then congratulations, you fell for it, because that's exactly what they wanted you to do, which is trade place with Rose without you knowing it.
I agree that the movie ended perfectly. The film did a great job of letting you know where things were going to lead after the credits rolled (the two families were going to meet up at the bunker with the daughter) without wasting the time showing you. What happens after they meet up could be a whole mini series of how the two familes adapt to the civil war (and post fallout).
Danny told GH and Clay about it, and Amanda and Ruth will follow Rose's bike track which leads to the house, so I think they will all join up at the bunker. @@kikidevine694
Yes... the painting in the living room got more distorted as the movie progressed. Also, the painting behind the bed... the water progressively got higher.
The Whíte Líon was the name of the ship that brought the first Afrícans to North America in 1619. The real ship landed in Point Comfort Virginia, the name of the fictional Market in the film is Point Comfort and is the fictional area the film is set in. Whíte líon also is a symbol of strength, courage, and knowledge.
I understood the ending. It was left unknown because in real life, it is unknown how civilization will react/change after a mass cyber-attack. It's a scary movie because it could really happen in our world. So many of us are blind or pretending to be blind to how nothing is really in our control.
There several references of slavery and racial undertones in this documentary. The reference of the numbers 1619, one being the radio station was on 1619 in the car, when Clay was driving alone. Also, the market that Amanda goes to is name Point Comfort Marketplace, well in late August, 1619, 20-30 enslaved Africans landed at Point Comfort, today's Fort Monroe in Hampton, Va., aboard the English privateer ship White Lion, which was the name of the ship that came ashore while they were at the beach. Clay drives past a sign that says Taney Farms, named after the 5th Cheif Justice, Roger Taney who ruled that black people could not be considered US citizens, nor could the government prohibit slavery. Some of the items stored in the bunker have been exposed to be racially insensitive. Aunt Jemima Uncle Ben Rice Cream of Wheat Indian Head Corn Meal InJun Orange Drink Mix Dixie Beer Trader Jose' Mexican Beer Barilla Pasta - who is the president of the company, and has a history of making homeopathic comments. There's so much more, but I'll leave that right there.
I need to learn more about the photos and images in G.H.’s office. For example, was that silhouette Paul Cuffee or somebody? What was the ship painting? It wasn’t White Lion, more like a 19th century ship to me.
Yessss! Thank you for listing the items. I brought this up casually in another thread, and was set upon by trolls saying I had issues for pointing the labels out 😩😂
Indeed - also, when Amanda was with her family on her way to the holiday property her friend on the phoned asked if the property was at East Hampton... Amanda replied with "...they call it a Hamlet"
My theory on the amusement park symbolism is that American's amusement is finished. No more fun and games. We are being abandoned and left behind to die off. Another symbolism that I think hasn't been mentioned is the scene where the daughter was lying next to her father, asking why are they sleeping in the basement when it's their house? She was adamant about the unfairness because, as people have proclaimed before, America was colonized. So, how is it that 'we' are at the bottom in our own land??? Just my thoughts. Tell me yours. Blessings to all good humans❣
Wow, thats a really good thought with the abandoned amusement park, etc. I also think the Hispanic lady trying to get help and being rejected and abandoned is telling of the many injustices done. I feel like the film is trying to help us realize that that we are being played against one another in order to control us and move agendas forward, but in the end we only have one another. We are created to love, its all about love, and in the end that will be our strongest weapon.
Bingo!!!! We are aboriginal Americans too and told we were all shipped in on a boat when we know the African looking native Americans were enslaved first! The mound builders. But they have us sleeping in the basement, and it’s our house!!!
@@BigA678Lake Shawnee was a Native American burial ground. A site where a Native American fought back and killed the plantation owners kids. Then they covered up the vile history with an amusement park. But people were still dying on that land.
It is that deep when the little girl was in the house there was a picture on the wall of original indigenous family which was a clear indication of wat was stolen the house represented big mama house and our culture and land and property were hijacked by these colonizers real talk they have to show us the truth but it's desensitized as an entertaining show, this was the final warning!
The first thing that caught my attention was the over whelming amount of blue throughtout the beginning of the movie. Their room their car the random blue signs and pallets of things with blue when she observes kevin bacons character loading his truck. When they are at the beach theyre all wearing blue archie is laying on a blue towel the majority of the umbrellas are blue. Wonder if that has anything to do with the conspiracy of the color blue in maui.
I take the blue and red in this movie as similar to the Matrix blue and red pills. The blue in this movie symbolizes the comfort we have as we escape reality. The red is the jolt of the real world. Everything both families reached for thought out the movie continued to be blue because despite what the clues of the reality around them were giving, the comfort of their blue things could always take them away from it.
If this actually happened, the only thing we can do is come together as people instead of fight each other... They expect us to kill each other off, we come together and their plan fails....
My man, I did not expect to find such an insightful breakdown of this movie. You are a thoughtful, creative and funny commentator. Much respect to what you did with this one. Just gained a follower 🙌
The little girl wasn’t ignoring what was going on. She was shielded for the most part. Her mother even made mention of her wanting the kids to not know what was going on. The little girl was a representative of her generation. Focused on instant gratification and distraction, like the little boy at the beach entrance on his gaming device. She bypassed all the important things to what she felt was important. Junk food and friends!
@msskellonExactly! She was clearly more sensitive and connected to the world than her "hypnotized" family. She loved the show 'Friends' because it represented a world now non-existent, where people cared and were invested in each other's lives, not just obsessed with their devices and Narcissistic self promotion.
Excellent Point, to say she was typical of Kids today of being distracted, is too simplistic . Children have always been distracted, along with majority of adults, most of the time. She identified many salient issues/points, but she wasn't going to miss her final episodes of Friends , her own little goal. @msskellon
@2:09.32 Amanda can be heard calling Rose's name in the distance from the Thornes' house. There's no reason to believe that G.H., Clay & Archie didn't drive there as well, since he said that that's what they were going to do.
The 6 people in the house were safe. The changing paintings on the livingroom and bedroom walls were their televisions. It showed them what was happening on the other side as it happened. Both paintings turned into chaos. The 6 people in the house represented the remnant that God promised to save. Animals run away from danger and to safty. The animals ran on their side. The deers that Rose saw represented safty. If a deer is safe, so is a human. The flamingos likes shallow salty waters. The pool was deep and chlorine filled. But all other waters were contaminated from war and dead bodies. The flamingos were safer in strange waters. Just as the people were. The deers scared the black girl who didn't care for white people, but a white woman came to her rescue. She unsuccessfully tried to scare the deers off. The deers were in unity and didn't leave until the two women also formed unity. There was a great war on the other side that sparked a civil and a race war. The six people was spared from that. The bunker would save their lives. It represented a new beginning, a new world, and it served as Noah's Ark. They ended the movie with the friends theme song; I'll be there for you. They were all eachother had now. They all had to leave their world behind. The kid had to leave modern technology, the horney teen had to leave porn behind, the young adult had to leave racism behind, the adult woman had to leave hate behind, the owner of the house had to leave the business world behind and Clay had to man up and leave fear behind.
Interesting that you saw it as the Black girl not liking white people, and I saw it as the White woman not liking Black people. They rented their home to White people, slept on the basement of their own home, and allowed them to return after the Tesla scene. Meanwhile, the White woman immediately did not trust them to be who they said they were or to have what they have. She was rude and disrespectful, and unnecessarily distrustful of the Black people. The Black girl had no issue sharing her vape pen with the white man, and she also had no issue with calling out the White woman’s racism and prejudice. In the end, the White woman had to overcome her personal issues to see value in the Black girl’s life, then she went to help her. Just sharing another viewpoint.
I think the black girl interpreted Julia Robert’s character as being racist due to the fact that Julia Robert’s just did not like PEOPLE. At first glance Julia came off as a deserving, privileged white woman that wants everything catered to her while relying on and stepping on others around her to get it. I felt the same way about her majority part of the movie.
The Oil Tanker named White Lion could have other significant meanings: White Lions ere highly regarded and known to be the keepers of important and crucial messages for humanity. Also, the White Lion is spiritual enlightenment and willingness to expand the mind to the greater world around it. White Lion is also a technique in the game of Chess!
I felt like the ending with Rose was to tell us that we as consumers just distract ourselves with mindless media while the world is falling apart. Worrying about the wrong things, she knows shit isn’t ok but all she wants to do is just watch her show. She knows her family is looking for her (probably worried sick) and she just sits down in a secret bunker and decides to watch a show
Great review, thanks! I hadn’t even considered the possible connections to Mr Robot. Loved this movie, and felt like so many people missed the point. Any time a movie keeps me thinking for days, it must be a good one.
A wake up call to the viewer this is a very serious movie that FRIGHTENED the hell out of me when you look at the things happening in the world today especially the ending with the fall out shelter 📢 thanks for your positive review
The elites have a religion. In their religion they have to gove us warnings before catastrophes start. This is so their "god" cant hold them responsible. I know it sounds crazy. That said good luck to you and youre family.
I think that none of them made it except Rose. She was the only one actually inside the bunker. The two women were watching the bombs go off and held hands, knowing they were goners. The Friends tape that Rose put on, was called "The Last One", which I think, meant her. That was my take, straight away.
I think they all made it, because I don't think the end shot of her bathed in the glow of the TV was the end of the movie - it was the Friends theme song. It continued long after that shot, and the whole point of the song is being there for each other. There's no need to waste bombs in a remote location and fallout is more a concern in the immediate area. They need to get their asses to the bunker due to the impending radiation heading their way, but they weren't about to die. I think they were more in shock, watching it all go, but it also symbolizes how we usually come together in the face of disaster.
My Take is that Rose didn't make it also.. While she was inside the bunker, she didn't shut the door. I think the pursuit of finding closer with Friend kepted her so distracted with her surroundings which oddly enough, without being distracted with friends, she tends to be very observant.
Great take! The movie alludes to them all heading to the house; the ladies to find Rose and the guys who are going to the bunker. But I like the idea that Rose closes the bunker door to have it all to herself since she never once shows any real affection for anything but her sitcom.
Loved it. Real movie with lots of relevant symbols and ontime messages. Implications of the world we knew is already gone but were still grasping for straws to find a happy place in what is a new era. This film is a wake call to be aware of the times or else.
This is what I got from the movie that Rome fell because of the distractions from “Bread & Circus” (Food & Entertainment). That’s what is happening in America now with all the distractions of bread & circuses that barely anyone is paying attention to what’s going on around them. Once the characters distractions were taken away they slowly started paying attention. The girl “woke up” the fastest and tried to warn the others of dangers and questioning her reality but no one paid heed to her. Finally the girl takes things in her own hand but sadly the moment she got back her Bread & Circus distractions she automatically fell back into her comfy ignorant bliss. We need to stay away from distractions so we can help prevent the Fall of America before it’s too late. 🤷🏻♀️ Just my humble opinion.
All is pre planned. Because of the rules they have to tell us. I know because I have to follow the rules also but I am not them. Breaking the rules have penalties which they don't want to suffer. So for my part I'll say this. Take the movie as a picture of the future and only the beginning of many events to come. It's going to be very nasty.
Why doesn't anyone talk about the 8 second clip in part 4, showing the earth, totally engulfed on pink like solar plasma , looking back from the dark side of the moon. This is clearly a massive CME. We have been getting several of them nearly every month this year as the suns solar cycle reaches its maximum of its 11 year cycle? It's clearly there, yet nothing is mentioned. A good portion of the signs of a CME are showed as well. We had one last week, knocked radio communication out in South America, power outages too. Why does everyone blame cyber attack, but not the trigger, CME?
An EMP (electromagnetic pulse) would have a similar devastating effect. Yet in the movie the electricity, cars, water pumps, etc. all continued to work fine.
This was probably the most important film of the year. I sure do hope it awaken a lot of people especially Americans. Also be on the look out next year for the film civil war. It will likely be just as deep and important as this movie.
Aldous Huxley’s brother was Julian Huxley whose writings contributed to social planning and eugenics; they were darwinists whose thinking have lead us directly to our current depopulation programs. Stay strong, people-we’re going to need it.
Depopulation...... yet after decades abortion in again illegal in USA 🤔 ..... we are right at what the world can sustain NOW...... how long until it's unsustainable?
Good break down of the movie. But there is so much more hidden meaning. Ive never seem Mr Robot, so didn't know those references. The boat may had something that referenced that movie. I watched it 3 times and picked on more time. OK....they went to point comfort as seen on road sign. Then the boat white lion. Then when dad is driving you see 1619 onthe radio. The first slave boat to arrive to America was named White Lion and landed at Point Comfort in 1619.
I was coming here to say the same thing. Also, as Clay is.driving he drives past a sign for Taney Farm. Taney is the SCOTUS justice that wrote the Dred Scott decision.
To be more precise, this White Lion is an oil tanker carrying “black gold”, similar to the original White Lion carrying black indentured servants that yes, were sold into slavery and were the black gold of their day. But, note the other place on the sign - “Fort Mose Road”. Fort Mose was a Spanish settlement built in St Augustine, Fla as a safe haven for enslaved people fleeing plantations in the English Colonies of South Carolina and Georgia. It was during the general conflict period between Spain and the English. Foreshadowing a bit to the scene where Clay Sandford (English surname) not trusting the Latina (Spanish) and leaving her alone on the road. Point Comfort was also known for some drama in 1610, when the Jamestown colonists upriver discovered they had hoarded food and didn’t help their fellow colonists during the “Starving Time”. Jamestown was the main settlement, but there were 31 colonists at Point Comfort - holed up inside Fort Algernon - which served as an early warning base for Spanish ships entering Virginia. The issue is that they were accused of hiding the food and fattening hogs in preparation for a secret return trip to England. This event preceded the arrival of Angolans on the White Lion.
I froze the map pic and screen shot it when watching the movie (just out of curiosity) still didn't notice the QR code until this video..lol😂 thanks brother (new subscriber here )
The White Lion was an English privateer operating under a Dutch letter of marque which brought the first Africans to the English colony of Virginia in 1619, a year before the arrival of the Mayflower in New England.
In late August, 1619, 20-30 enslaved Africans landed at Point Comfort, today's Fort Monroe in Hampton, Va., aboard the English privateer ship White Lion. In Virginia, these Africans were traded in exchange for supplies. Look this up!!!
Definitely true...remember the part when G.H. Scott is attempting to change the radio station? Well it also says 1619 mhz on the station. Which the interpretation is (1619 mega hurts). The first year the White Lion ship brought in about 20 slaves to Virginia. 😮
Arrival of the First Africans in English North America (August 1619): A ship called the White Lion arrived in Point Comfort (now Hampton, Virginia) carrying the first documented Africans to be forcibly brought to the English colonies in North America. This event is recognized as one of the early instances of slavery in what would become the United States.
I've been pretty frustrated with people's negative reactions to the ending of the movie cause I thought it was brilliant. Your breakdown of the ending was spot on, man. I think there's no question they all made it to the bunker. George and Ruth made a promise to meet up at the house so they did and all shared information. Ruth told her dad that was most likely where Julia Roberts and Rose were, they headed over there and all met up. Also, the Thornes were never gonna show up and kick them out cause they never made it out of the city.
I agree the movie was masterfully done. From the script to that acting to the cinematography. And as far as the ending, the Friends theme song told you what was going to happen in the short term. People are used to being spoon fed in this modern society and that is part of the problem.
I think there are more racial undertones than meets the eye. White Lion is the name of the first ship that brought over the first kidnapped enslaved Africans. Also there was a QR code of in the cyberattack map. It’s of a haunted theme park that is the home to the Shawnee people that was linked to a family named Clay, English Settlers, that settled on their land. It’s linked to burial site of children’s graves and unexplained deaths. Both families mix the Clays, are essentially a representative set of Settler Colonialism.
Point Comfort? White Lion? Please look these names up. The family names were the Scotts and Sanfords, Clay drives by a "Taney Farms" sign prior to the leaflets falling.
@@halbleavy9900dred Scott v the people Legal case I believe it was a case where a slave ran to a free state but because of fugitive slave laws the law didn’t apply to her regarding being set free I could be wrong
Damn! Yes! Love this comment 😮 Trying to “herd the humans” when they wigged out on them to run them off… Ruth found her own refuge instead of depending on the adults.
WOW I have to see this Mr. Robot show. I thought I’d figured out most of everything in this movie. 😮😮 Very very interesting This is great work man, I’m a subscriber now. 👍🏾👍🏾
I disagree. clay's value was using his lack of value to beg for his son's life, what did he have to lose.He wanted his family. He will not easily be replaced.
Sir thank you for loving this movie and having the intelligence to explain how brilliant and thought provoking this film delivers. Also the symbolism and we need to wake up🙏🏻❤️👏👏
Agree completely with you. Our real world is crumbling in a way that's frightening. Roses real world was Friends, she portrays the youngest who are being very affected by technology. Each character seemed to portray an aspect of how modernism is affecting everyone.
I think other beings will be joining us. Friends will be knocking on your doors. They won’t be taking the back seats though. They will be attempting to take over you.
I liked the movie and I didn't mind the ending because I feel that iit's a warning to us right now & that we can change what happens by becoming more aware and seek answers for ourselves and do research. We control our own destiny in a sense!
If you are a prepper minded person you likely loved the movie. People who aren't prepper minded hated it. And mostly complained about the ending. Well I thought the movie wasn't about the ending. I a real life situation the ending is subject to your level of preparedness. That's why I felt they left it open ended. The viewer can fill in the ending on how they'd do.
Bless your heart, not everyone wants to survive a complete breakdown of society. Don't be fooled by many people intentionally ignoring the worst case scenario. It is not that we don't see the possibility or even if you choose probability. It could very well be we would prefer to leave in that case. And why wouldn't that please you. More for you.

The "Hackers" had taken over the satellites to use for their own purposes such as redirecting ships, airplanes, etc. to their destruction. Out of curiosity, I checked the movie's rating on imdb, and I couldn't believe my eyes! The movie had terrible ratings. Then I noticed that dozens and dozens of reviews were absolutely identical, word for word, denigrating the movie, urging people NOT to watch it! Clearly generated by bots. It's a shame because its imdb rating is really low as a consequence. So many people decide to watch a movie based on imdb's ratings. Why this sabotage of an excellent movie? A bit like the movie "Don't look up" where the ruling government urges its followers not to look up at the comet heading towards Earth. It is end of December, and, for me, this movie is a definite contender for awards.
I started watching Mr. Robot in october without knowing this movie was coming out. I just watched it and im blown away how it connects to Mr. Robot. Hopefully they make a sequel to Mr. Robot!
Physiological Thriller... couldn't have said it any better!! Yes, I'm pissed the way it ended. But I also love it and kinda would like to see a part 2, lol. I agree we were just as confused as the family
The planned cyberattack will take place on March 13-14/2025, followed by the next total lunar eclipse, as shown from 1:40:47 to 1:41:15 in the "Leave The World Behind" movie. Just wait for the next movie "Civil War" coming on in April 2024, which will show what will happen under the third stage of the event, explained in the "Leave The World Behind" movie from 2:04:40 to 2:07:00.
April 8, 2024 happens to be the date of the next Total Solar Eclipse. Also, April 8th is celebrated as the birthday of Gautama Buddha in Buddhist traditions. The word Buddha means “the Awakened One.” His mother’s name was Maya, which coincidentally is the name of G.H.’s wife and Ruth’s mother who never made an appearance in the movie. The name Maya means “illusion” or “dream.” This symbolizes the Veil of Illusion that is placed over us when we reincarnate into this world. Maya (Buddha’s mother) died on the exact same day of his birth. This is a metaphor of the Illusion dying after One Awakens from the Dream.
Very clever explanation bit I've never seen Mr Robot and have no idea about evil Corp or any of the other things linked to this film 🤷♀️ and I'm guessing I'm in the majority??
Thanks for explaining this movie. I didnt know what was going on and didnt know to look for subtle clues. This is teaching me to learn to look for the hidden messages. I didn't know anything about those kind of powerful corporations trying to run the world or any hidden groups with cyber connections trying to control the world. Thanks for teaching an old schooler about how if technology is use wrongly can have devastating effects on mankind and all of creation. I did realize near the end, the missing little girl had found the secret on how to survive in this kind of world hit by cyber attacks and radiation in the air. She had everything she needed to survive in the doom day storage bunker. I am glad I found your channel.
sweet! glad i could help. thank you for the support and the kind words. I appreciate you.

I hated the movie when it ended because I felt it made no sense to me. After watching your video and a few other here on youtube, I guess this was a brilliant movie that shows us how our society is today, still racist, selfish, totally dependent on the internet and technology, getting more distant from nature and from each other. Suddenly, they felt lost, with no internet or any kind of source of information, they did not know what was truth or lie, they didn´t know who to trust or what to believe, they felt threated by the black man and daughter, by the animals in the forest, but as time passed by they started getting along, breaking the barriers, and at the end, the little girl taught us as you said, that it doesn't matter that the world around you is falling apart, you´ve got to stand up and do something for yourself, and find some time to just enjoy life, as she did. We all need to disconnect a little from technology, and connect more with each other, with people around us, with nature, believe more in the human nature, worry less about problems that we have no control of, and find time to enjoy life, the best way we can. Thank you.
Elon Musk has Starlink satellites, maybe they were the last to fail. When cars lost communication they were already in a dead end and crashed into each other.
It's interesting that the Lake Shawnee Amusement park was featured in the movie because Lake Shawnee park is abandoned and has been for many years. However, I've seen it featured on Destination Fear with Dakota Laden and his friends. It was said that Lake Shawnee Amusement park was originally a native American burial ground, however, at some point in time, a settler built his home on it and 2 of his children were massacred while the 3rd was rumored to be taken by the indians. The dad who was away from the property came home to see his kids murdered and he Buried them on the property. The burial plot and headstone are still there too. Why the movie would feature it is still a mystery to me but it could have something to do with the fact that the amusement park had several deaths connected to it concerning children and we know how much the government and the evil people in the deep state loves to mess with kids. Anyway, I'm sure if anyone looks it up online they can read for themselves that a little girl died on the swings by a truck that backed up into her & after that several more deaths occurred in the park until it was finally closed for good.
Mitchell Clay and his wife Phoebe is the family who’s children were massacred ….. the families last name is Clay….Podcast Southern Gothic Lake Shawnee’s Tragic History…. Just another layer….
Thanks for this. Mr. Robot was the best and now that I see how the movie can be a perfectly reasonable continuation of the series, it all makes so much more sense.😮
I posted about this movie on Facebook that I liked it… My smart friends thought it was deep and maybe a warning. My dumb friends didn’t get it and hated the ending.
Barack Obama had an important role in this movie,From Today's website: In an interview with Vanity Fair, the movie's writer and director, Sam Esmail, reflected on Barack and Michelle Obama's participation as executive producers for the psychological thriller, which was adapted by Rumaan Alam's 2020 novel of the same name. The film is also produced by the couple's company, Higher Ground Productions.
Now here's my perspective on the little girls addiction to the television show friends. From my perspective this was referencing the effect that is going to have on their mental stability wants the internet and the cell phone and the television are no longer a necessity of Life. Like a drug addict who can't get fixs they're going to mentally spiral out of control feel disconnected from society until they can reboot. Like the little girl rebooted when she found that last episode she was back in her comfort zone
Wow it's more to this movie than you realize. Time is near where all nations will pay their debt. The name on the ship white lion, you're wrong about the White Lion. The White Lion was the first slave ship. In late August, 1619, 20-30 enslaved Africans landed at Point Comfort, today's Fort Monroe in Hampton, Va., aboard the English privateer ship (White Lion.) And I thought it was the good ship Jesus. Anyway the radio frequency was 1619, the date the ship arrived in the Americas. In the Bible verse Deuteronomy 28:68 say we'll be sold to our enemies. The Young melanated woman said to her dad in bed not to trust white people mostly. It also says in the Bible not to trust your enemy. But yet in the end they were holding hands. In the Bible States no joining hands with the wicked. Proverbs 11:21 Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered. Isaiah 13:13-16 Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger. And it shall be as the chased roe, and as a sheep that no man taketh up: they shall every man turn to his own people, and flee every one into his own land. Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword. Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished. The painting of The water rising basically represents the times of Noah. The blocks on the table represent Babylon falling. The other picture look more like a hard monitor with the lines going up and down and then as the movie moves on it's in disarray. Let me stop here this is a bit too long.
A couple of things.... 1). In the beginning, you see Julia Roberts listening to black music, loving black everything - except the actual people. This brings the saying, "They love our culture but not us" to mind. Blacks culture is emulated all over the world while many cultures are racist to the actual people. 2) She doesn't respect her husband but right after not listening to CH and almost dying, she claims she likes him. She then puts on a very sexual based black song, dances suggestively then lets CH know that yes they are married but she still wants to have sex with him. This points back to the time slave owner's wives would sneak to have sex with black men - a big "taboo". 3) The "white lion" ship was the name of the first ship to bring slaves to the US. That was what brought wealth - now it's oil. 4) Those conversations between CH and his daughter come back to haunt him as she was proven correct. Kevin Bacon's character represented white americans that only take and hoard for themselves vs. indigenous peoples that want to help everyone. 5) That showdown between CH and Kevin Bacon represented how black men put white women ahead of their own families (like house slaves vs field slaves). Here, CH promised his daughter he would return but his commitment to Julia Robert's character meant he was ready to die for her instead of live for his own daughter (who would have had no one). 6) The black owners of the house were in the "slave quarters" while their white guest had the comfort. This spoke to how indigenous peoples put themselves out to ensure comfort of the colonizer. This even after the family tried to leave them behind to seek safer shelter with "their own kind". There are many many other nuanced messages (like the entire town was signaling the thorne house as safety (for instance the town circle being the power button Rose turned. )) The name Comodus and who he was. A LOT of messages.
Honestly I didn’t link the 2.... LOVED Mr. Robot !!! it’s Obvious once you started showing the E corp stuff.... Didn’t understand the DEER ??? & the Noise ? Did the kid get sick from the bug bite or noise ? The Paintings kept changing, the men & women Almost Cheating on each other. A Lot of Questions...
I liked the ending. The idea that the world was ending but Friends was still there was oddly distressing and comforting at the same time. And thanks for pointing out all the Mr Robot allusions. That show was the GOAT.
I love this thought! The movie really does put us into Rose's POV. Thanks for this. It adds another layer to this movie
Nice!
That is a very good point.
Exactly! So many people keep missing this entirely. But it's so damn meta!
Bro what? It just shows how the average american thinks. We are dumb.
Were they, though? They spent the whole film not getting to the bunker, I don't see it changing
Danny told GH and Clay about it, and Amanda and Ruth will follow Rose's bike track which leads to the house, so I think they will all join up at the bunker.

The whole thing is terrifying and I think it’s way more possible than we want to admit.
It's called predictive programming
Exactly
Not just possible. Probable.as in when
Of course it will happen to some degree anyway.
The White Line was the name of the first ship.to bring slaves to America from Africa. It's just a little race baiting extra they put in.
Did anyone notice how the artwork in the house kept changing as things went from bad to worse?
There is a review on that
Can’t remember the title
But yes you are right
The back picture changes 😊
Yes it symbolizes how the families reacted in times of crisis and showed how intense these crises were growing

The waves I thought I was tripping
Yes... the painting in the living room got more distorted as the movie progressed.

@@brandonjamal No worries, Merry Christmas!
I understood the ending. It was left unknown because in real life, it is unknown how civilization will react/change after a mass cyber-attack. It's a scary movie because it could really happen in our world. So many of us are blind or pretending to be blind to how nothing is really in our control.
THIS!
It has already started since 2019 it’s gonna get a lot worse and ppl need to wake up we are not ready for this repeat and turn to god!
Aunt Jemima
Uncle Ben Rice
Cream of Wheat
Indian Head Corn Meal
InJun Orange Drink Mix
Dixie Beer
Trader Jose' Mexican Beer
Barilla Pasta - who is the president of the company, and has a history of making homeopathic comments.

Woke crap movie
Man its not that deep. Its just a movie abt NYC getting nuked. Relax
Racial unity is their biggest fear.

much appreciated!! thank you for the support fr 💎
Thank you,i was trying to find the words but couldnt,
So true, the world leader keep winning by distraction
Amazing. I think people were trying read more into it. Kids nowadays are always distracted
@msskellon
But she was the smartest one
@2:09.32 Amanda can be heard calling Rose's name in the distance from the Thornes' house. There's no reason to believe that G.H., Clay & Archie didn't drive there as well, since he said that that's what they were going to do.
100%, they eventually all met up at the bunker & just lived there
I think another nuke went off and everyone outside died, then the daughter killed herself
@@CristopherTheGreatunless Rose locked them out lol
Only the youngest child didn't leave tech behind. She found it in abundance
Brilliant answer 👍
Kids found more technology and the black girl wasn’t racist, she more so seen Julia as a bitch n snobbish
She knows her family is looking for her (probably worried sick) and she just sits down in a secret bunker and decides to watch a show
Nevermind, got to the part of the video where you just said that lol
It was predictive programming 101. Be prepared but, most importantly, maintain your humanity.
Yes, definitely! Humanity is becoming lost in the digital age, its altering human life.

I know it sounds crazy.
That said good luck to you and youre family.
Yo también me asusté mucho 😣
So terrifying. I couldnt look away. Easily one of my favorite films. Tones of 2011's exquisite "Meloncholia"
@@lunacouerI think there is also a point of unity! The girls together, the boys together...Rose is alone...with her " friends"....
My Take is that Rose didn't make it also.. While she was inside the bunker, she didn't shut the door. I think the pursuit of finding closer with Friend kepted her so distracted with her surroundings which oddly enough, without being distracted with friends, she tends to be very observant.
The director said they all make it into the bunker.

Been doing that for 6 years...and your right
Before it's TOO late. Huh?! Look out the window already.

And the fact the Rose was wearing a NASA shirt through most of the movie…
reminded me of Danny’s clothing in the Shining. The color contrasts too .
An EMP (electromagnetic pulse) would have a similar devastating effect. Yet in the movie the electricity, cars, water pumps, etc. all continued to work fine.

The BIG question is this. If all satellites went down. Why were Teslas able to navigate the streets back to the city

The 400yrs are up. The times of the Gentiles have come to an end.
Definitely true...remember the part when G.H. Scott is attempting to change the radio station? Well it also says 1619 mhz on the station. Which the interpretation is (1619 mega hurts). The first year the White Lion ship brought in about 20 slaves to Virginia. 😮
Great video. I have watched several about this movie, your is by far the best! Good job

Now you got me wanting to watch Mr. Robot Because I have no clue what you are talking about.
@chillwill5080 Exactly. They didn't get out of the city so it's Rose's and her family's bunker now.

Then I noticed that dozens and dozens of reviews were absolutely identical, word for word, denigrating the movie, urging people NOT to watch it! Clearly generated by bots. Physiological Thriller... couldn't have said it any better!! Yes, I'm pissed the way it ended. But I also love it and kinda would like to see a part 2, lol. I agree we were just as confused as the family
yeah they threw us for a loop thats for sure lol
The planned cyberattack will take place on March 13-14/2025, followed by the next total lunar eclipse, as shown from 1:40:47 to 1:41:15 in the "Leave The World Behind" movie. Just wait for the next movie "Civil War" coming on in April 2024, which will show what will happen under the third stage of the event, explained in the "Leave The World Behind" movie from 2:04:40 to 2:07:00.
How do you know?
That’s a bold statement
@@VIRIDIANA081 If my statement is a bold one, then check out the WEF guy Klaus Martin Schwab's statement about the upcoming cyberattack.
Don’t know about this prediction, but there’s definitely an eclipse scene showing the US flag on the moon at that time.

So if Obama was behind the creation of this film, what’s the connection to Mr.Robot? 🤔
Here's the thing about the noise it was a weapon that was targeting the home specifically
Very clever explanation bit I've never seen Mr Robot and have no idea about evil Corp or any of the other things linked to this film 🤷♀️ and I'm guessing I'm in the majority??
I’m going to do some research
Thank you.
That's good you took some time to dig deeper. Sadly, most people aren't, which drives home the point of this movie even further.
Good job!. I was trying to figure it out and you got it. Thanks!
no doubt. glad it helped! 💪🏾💎
The BIG question is this. If all satellites went down. Why were Teslas able to navigate the streets back to the city?
They were probably connected to our enemy's satellite
Elon Musk has Starlink satellites, maybe they were the last to fail. When cars lost communication they were already in a dead end and crashed into each other.
@@revelalmighty7546 SpaceForce has satellites too
It could be a default program in the Tesla code or a program sent to them. The satellites could have been taken over, not destroyed.
Enjoyed watching! excellent analysis!
I loved the ending
It had no happy ending and a hopeful one at the same time
💯💯💯
Yeah the ending was crazy

Lake Shawnee refers to a defunct amusement park in Southern West Virginia that is purported to be haunted .
It didn't end. It just stopped telling the story. That is a partial story.
It's like telling Goldilocks and the Three bears and stopping when you get to the Mamma bear
Yeah man i can dig it. Great review and take on the show.
I love movies like this. Makes you think.
hey thanks for the support. i feel the same way. the mystery element sucks me in.
That story reminds me of the movie, “Poltergeist “.
Another nod to Rose and her programming. Dressed as Friends.

Thanks for this. Mr. Robot was the best and now that I see how the movie can be a perfectly reasonable continuation of the series, it all makes so much more sense.😮
awesome. yeah mr robot was so good. thanks for the comment 💎
Lake Shawnee Amusement park
"E" for everything 😮 this movie is something else. Makes sense but scary cause all this, not in the same way, but it could happen
I posted about this movie on Facebook that I liked it…
My smart friends thought it was deep and maybe a warning.
My dumb friends didn’t get it and hated the ending.
Excellent Alfred Hitchcock ending 😊
White Lion was the name of the first slave ship to land in the US in 1619
Barack Obama had an important role in this movie,From Today's website: In an interview with Vanity Fair, the movie's writer and director, Sam Esmail, reflected on Barack and Michelle Obama's participation as executive producers for the psychological thriller, which was adapted by Rumaan Alam's 2020 novel of the same name. The film is also produced by the couple's company, Higher Ground Productions.
👈 revelation 6 Antichrist Obama
Barack Obama means lightning from a high place
Everything in your post refers to the antichrist Obama
Wow see I thought it was a rumor but Barack did have something to do with the film
Yezzz spot on
Wow it's more to this movie than you realize.
Time is near where all nations will pay their debt.
The name on the ship white lion, you're wrong about the White Lion.
The White Lion was the first slave ship.
In late August, 1619, 20-30 enslaved Africans landed at Point Comfort, today's Fort Monroe in Hampton, Va., aboard the English privateer ship (White Lion.)
And I thought it was the good ship Jesus.
Proverbs 11:21
Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.
Isaiah 13:13-16
Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.
Julia Robert's dated Matthew Perry , he died on her birthday.
Exactly what I felt!
Thorne?
Honestly I didn’t link the 2.... LOVED Mr. Robot !!! it’s Obvious once you started showing the E corp stuff.... Didn’t understand the DEER ??? & the Noise ? Did the kid get sick from the bug bite or noise ? The Paintings kept changing, the men & women Almost Cheating on each other. A Lot of Questions...
I liked the ending. The idea that the world was ending but Friends was still there was oddly distressing and comforting at the same time. And thanks for pointing out all the Mr Robot allusions. That show was the GOAT.
oh no doubt!! and yeah Mr robot definitely goated fr. 💎💎
