It shows how good you are at interviewing people by their reactions to your questions. You include the questions that are widely asked because that is info that are typically on watchers' minds. You also ask original questions that are well thought out and thought provoking. Keep it up!
You are absolutely the best of the celebrity interviews/ you are creative and interested and kind. The irony for me watching this film and then this interview is that I watched on my phone and your insightful question about the amount we depend on and use these devices completely struck home. Great interview Jake! Again!!💕
amazing set of interviews. I've been subscribed a long time and I've seen most if not every one Jake has posted, and that was so professional and fun and interesting, even by his usual high standards.
Hi Jake, I’ve only seen the trailer for this film and this is the first interview I’ve seen you do. Very impressed with all of this. By the way, after working for over three decades in the motion picture industry I am finally getting close to directing my first feature film, and I certainly hope I will be interviewed by people of your caliber, authenticity and integrity. Other film projects I’ve done in the past most of the media and their questions left me feeling bored and disenchanted since many of them are not truly enthusiastic about Cinema. You certainly seem genuine in that department. Thank you so much! HM, founder Highway Cinema
I love how people say the book was a work of fiction, but in real life these things could happen, or we might even be on the BRINK of similar things happening. So Nonfiction, great movie btw. Didn't know Obama produced it. ha
I remember at the peak of the PLANdemic, standing in front of my manager and work asking her if she had any idea of when they would be sending us home to work... and she said, "Oh no, that will never happen!" I asked her if she had seen the news, and informed her that THE NBA had shut down... and if they were shutting down, we were definitely going home!! The next day, they were sending instructions and making preparations for us to work from home!!
0 seconds ago I wish I could wake up with perfectly set hair, just like Julia does, in the so so movie, when her alerts disappear in bed! She is the luckiest mother in the world, why would she want to leave?
The movie basically sucked it was nothing seemed like there was no it killed me to watch the last 20 minutes which basically there was no end in either 3 thumbs down
Loved the interview, hated the movie. The film adaptation presents as either a societal critic of US with a dark prophecy or as someone's US-hating apocalypse porn. It's anti-human, anti-American and shows the younger generation cares about nothing but some media distraction, even as the world is ending. It's pessimistic, racist, nihilistic and self-loathing. It is a giant middle finger to the US & especially white Americans because of the negative depiction, particularly the racism and self-loathing of the middle-aged white lady. Has anyone ever met any mother who feels this way about humanity? If a woman really hated humanity this much, she would not have children. The author doesn't understand motherhood at all. Children are our hope for the future. This movie is not about hope or even a lesson or warning about how to stop such a catastrophe. It's just is a celebration of the end of the US. I'm sure the global depopulationists will love it. I think it's garbage and sends a horrible message. Why would any self-respecting actor sign on to do this garbage movie?
couldnt help feeling that the movie was kind of anti art - the plot was very shallow and not believable, the cinematography was gimmicky, the events that happened were strange but just for the heck of it - not rooted in any depth or perceptible meaning, so it turns out the acting cant deliver either. It was just so lazy and didnt feel human - kind of like it was imagined by and executed by AI.
About half an hour into the movie. So what I'm seeing is rich, liberal family want to leave their rich homes and spend time holidaying in a rich rental. Owner turns up and Julia plays Karen. May have been more relevant if the owner had been Jewish bearing in mind the obvious discrimination going on. The problem with these virtue-signalling movies is that they are not subtle. As a viewer, you are not allowed to come to your own conclusions and you're hit over the head with several messages that are not realistic and magically do not apply to anyone involved in the film. Who are they trying to appeal to? Other rich liberals? Not exactly kitchen sink is it! 1/10 - try again.

I love this interview! The questions you asked (as well as their answers) were just strikingly intelligent and insightful. Keep it coming!
The fact that these actors know what's happening and are still smiling and acting, makes me question everything even more!

Oh look… one eye peeking out from Julia’s jacket and a rabbit on the tea shirt of another…. Hmmmmm
Why he only ask the Black folks about Barack 😒
