Remember guys, she have been drawing this kind of styled eyes for probably years, if it's your first time, don't let yourself down, it'll only hurt your progress
I have never used a video before to teach portraiture but I used yours! My students followed along and said that they have never drawn an eye or understood the anatomy like this before. Very easy to follow. thanks!
I found your teaching style super-effective. You are able to show a clear picture of what you're doing while explaining concisely. More than that, you seem to approach the eye differently than other instructors I've seen. In such a way that the tear duct falls into place automatically. That has been the bane of my existence for awhile now. Today I drew along with you and noticed I had drawn a tear duct without planning to. I also followed along on your nose video with fantastic results. The lip video is more challenging. Thank you so much. I'm hoping you continue to teach.
Tessa Suoranta im ok with it i didn't get to do the circle but i nailed it. Wanna see how i do? Check out my insta i just posted it @maisarah_mohd_adnan
This drawing is very [good] but i made a mess its too hardd i agree i cant even make a perfect circle i tried to copy but its hard i cant even sharpen my pencil HAHAHAA oh yea u dont use da pencil u use da Prismacolor Ebony pencil soo ya i failed horriblly i really want to learn how to draw!
You did this really well. I like the drawing videos where you actually get an explanation rather then just music and really fast drawing. Thanks so much!
@@addielu138 Yeah I know, but this comment wasn't actually my intention. I was making fun of my poor drawing skills, not the tutorial. The tutorial's one of the best I've seen!
i’m not the greatest artist but i actually managed to draw this pretty much the same as her! her explaining was perfect, as was her pace, and the circle method was super helpful! i definitely recommend this if you’re just a beginner. great video !!
Thank you so much for this video!!! This was my first "real" drawing and you made everything so much more easy! You helped me realize all of the nonrealistic things I was doing in my other drawings. Because of you, I'm going to be drawing a lot more 😉
Thank you so much for beginning on anatomy. I went through many tutorials that just said "draw a line like this." That is completely insufficient for advanced art. You must understand how the biology is shaped so you can draw any eye from any position. Excellent tutorial!
I have just started to motivate myself to learn drawing properly, as i have always liked it but never actually practiced it consistently, i am documenting my progress here on UA-cam as well hoping this will push me further and help me in my process
Love your tutorials, especially as someone who is self taught, not only do they help me learn how to draw those specific things but they also help me go into greater detail about shading, thanks sooo much, subbed :D
My dream is to become an artist. A lot of people say that I won't achieve it because I never learn but your video helped me work effectively. I can never normally draw human looking eyes and this video also taught me about anatomy. Thankyou
Ok I spent half an hour on the circle omg- Also this was amazing tysm, this was my first time drawing an eye and it actually didn't look like literal crap thanks to this tutorial thank you!!!!!
I think u are the best drawing teacher u give me confidence in my art when u say all eyes are different it makes me feel much more happy with what I’ve drawn
Wow!!! You are GREAT!!! Thanks for this great tutorial....Loved the Nose Tutorial as well. You should be having 4 Million Subscribers NOT 43 000 ......Truly Amazing Teacher....
You're great at explaining it because other people are just like now draw the eyes and they just assume without any help and we can draw it just like theirs without any explanation!!
thank u so much i love your tutorials i improved a lot, because u explain why the eye should be drawn this way, since then i started to draw from my imagination
wow the way you taught how to draw it eally helped. I can't draw for crap but when i drew the eyes using this video it actually looked like i knew what i was doing !!!!

I TOOK AN ART CLASS AND MY EYE ENDED UP LOOKING LOOKING LIKE A BLOB AND 4 YEARS LATER I TRY AGAIN WITH YOUR TUTORIAL AND I GET IT RIGHT!! THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH
Me the entire time watching the video: 👁👄👁 But, thank you so much for this video. I see a LOT of these and for some reason they would never make sense. But, you explained it with so much detail. Also, you aren’t like “Drawing an eye is so easy!” I always get frustrated because the other videos I watch are technically saying that. Thank you so much for all of the help. Your voice is so calming and I don’t get very mad and I stay calm. Thank you so much.💗✨
Thanks you Jescia Hopper I enjoyed your tutorial very much, it was most helpful and as a beginner, I am pleased with how my sketch of the eye turned out and gained some confidence.
I have a question and please dont tell me its stupid i already know it is but do all artist know how to draw "everything"? Like faces plants but cant draw animals... something like that because i can draw somethings but at faces or face features thats where i cant draw
There are a lot of things that I struggle with drawing! That's completely normal to be comfortable or skilled at drawing certain things, but not others. It's really a matter of practice. You have to challenge yourself to work on things that are difficult, and that is what makes you grow and develop as an artist. Hope that helps!
No some artist can be good at faces but not good at animals and vice versa. Also, that wasn't a stupid question, cause I think that's all what we think at first when watching a art tutorial or artist.
Hey I just started art and I suck I just wanted to know how many try's it took you to draw the eye. Personally I couldn't do any of it, but it was a good lesson for amateurs not beginners. (Im a beginner) also you are really good at art. Btw what store do you buy the art supplies at?? 😀
I've always loved drawing people, so I think it was really years of practicing and refining as I was growing up. I didn't have art class to teach me, or UA-cam, so it was just looking at things and trying to figure out how to do it... It definitely didn't happen right away! As for art supplies, I usually buy them through a local art store, dickblick.com, or Michaels.
Thank you very much! your tutorials are so amazing and helpful, within a day my drawing changed from nursery level to almost professional, thank you very much!
