In the very early days of Pentatonix, Kirstie tended to defer to the men in the group (it's easy to see why - every one of them is incredibly talented). This is the creative genius that is Todrick Hall. Combine that with the massive talent that is Pentatonix and the result is unparalleled magic. You absolutely crack me up with your jokes and commentary. All of us know that if we want to see the uninterrupted version we will watch the original (also we do that so they get the views from their work) we (I) watch reactors to share in the experience of amazement and awe of PTX specifically, but also of others.

Left to right on final song : Kevin is Toto the dog, Todrick Hall, Mitch is the Tin Man, Kirsten is Dorothy, Scott is the Scarecrow and Avi is the Cowardly Lion. Thank you for this reaction
So here’s an idea … in response to the first five+ minutes of this video…based on your selected tune to review … perhaps DROPPING A HOUSE ON THEM would be warranted.
Take a look at Grandma got run over by a reindeer , by Home Free, its so funny. This is YOUR channel, to do as you want to. They don't like what your doing, they do not have to watch
Ahhhh-vee lol. Great reaction! Mitch definitely had 2 solos as did Scott and Avi. Kirstin is a Disney Princess/ Broadway star! You can't go wrong with PTX. Btw Scott, Mitch and Kirstin join Todrick for another collab called Black and white and its a bop.
Mitch is the Tin Man. Kirstie killed it throughout this piece. She played Broadway in Kinky Boots in 2018. Such a talented group and kudos for Todrick Hall for putting it together. Loved your reaction!
Todrick Hall is wonderful, and has known the Texas trio since they were in junior high school, although I'm told that Todrick is a few years older. Howsomever, they were in various musical groups as youngsters, and have stayed in touch over the years. But in addition to this, PLEASE review Todrick's original song featuring Scott, Matt and Kirstie, called "Black and White." The song is amazing, the choreography mind blowing, the sentiments perfect.
Mr. Saucey, you always make my day. I wake up wondering "oh, what did he react to last night?" and it never fails to be a delight. TBH I prefer reactors who pause. If I want to see the song uninterrupted I'll go watch the original. I watch reactors for their reaction, period dot. And you're a good one. You rock, man, and keep doing you. Edited to add that I love the idea of rotating the groups!
Right? Exactly! Why are they even watching reaction channels if they're not interested in the reactions. It's weird. The Bruce Anuses of the world are never satisfied, they'd complain if you pause to talk, and complain if you didn't pause and just talked over them. It's not like the original videos aren't freely available and so are the songs on Spotify or wherever they choose. Bruce Anus indeed lol.
I particularly appreciated the homage paid to the original that played in the background at the end. Mitch is Tinman and can definitely do solo work. You might check out his cover of Billie Eilish's 'My Power.' All of them have done solo work except Matt. Avi has, done several songs since he left the group. Kirstin has put out an album and did a stint on Broadway in 'Kinky Boots.' Kevin has done a lot od solo work. Scott has done both solo and duo work. This is truly a multi-talented group.
I watched the Billie eilish cover shortly after it was dropped. I was reading some of the comments and saw that someone had also watched and decided not to commit suicide. This group is so powerful.
No, no, no!!! Do not ever apologize for what you do or say in a reaction. Most of us Pentaholics have seen the video multiple times and we don’t mind the pauses because we came to watch and listen to your reactions. Continue to do what you do so well, including the pettiness 🤣 Since you liked Todrick’s collaboration with PTX, they did another with him called BLACK AND WHITE. This one is very catchy and fun. 💕
🤣😂🤣 You reacting to Scott, Avi, and Mitch as the bald munchkins. I had a very rough day. That helped a lot. 🤣😂 ETA: Todrick went to high school with the Trio (Scott, Mitch, & Kirstie). He has one other video with them, and he did several episodes on Mitch & Scott’s side channel Superfruit)
Mitch is the tim man. Todrick also produced the video black and white with scott, mitch and kirstie. They are all friends who grre up together in texas
Another incredible a capella group is Voctave...no beatboxing but a fantastic group with 11 members. Their voices are pristine and they do quite a bit of Christmas music that you might wanna check ✔ out. They did a collab with Kirstie and her then-fiancee Jeremy Michael Lewis of Disney Love Medley. (Every member of Voctave has worked for (or are still working for) Disney in Orlando.
That 'apology' was outstanding! I'm offended by their offendedness at your amazing humour. I really enjoy your reactions. Loved this reaction, this is one of my favourites by them. Its so clever. Looking forward to what you pick next 🙂
Had a run in with a Karen myself today. You are the best! Home Free has a new release tomorrow with their opening act from their most recent shows, Texas Hill, Go Tell It on the Mountain.
Home Free got a bit a flack last year with some haters. Their answer to them was their video Everybody Walkin This Land. Watch Tim's message at the end. Rob Lundquist was in the live chat and really couldn't understand how much hate was directed at Tim for his comments.
Hey beautiful man. Yes, that's your name now. Loved you calling out the Karens and Darrens. This was probably the Pentatonix video that showed the most whimsical side of them. Great reaction again. You are very entertaining in your on right.
Kirstie starred on Broadway in Kinky Boots. While she was there the rest of the group flew up there to record with her. All of the members have other projects but PTX comes first for all of them. They are my favorite A capella group because their arrangements are the trickiest by far.
Related to the pausing, I'm not a copyright lawyer but I do have some knowledge of copyright law. It is actually better that you do stop and comment relatively frequently. Part of what makes use of a copyrighted work "fair use" is "criticism" and "commenting" (I forget the exact wording in the laws). If you were to just watch the video and sit there making faces it would be very hard to legally argue that what you are doing is criticism or commentary. By pausing and discussing what you are watching, you make it much easier to defend your use of the works as "fair use." Technically only a judge can decide that but still. Also from a creator's perspective, viewers shouldn't be watching a "reactor" to see a work. The viewer should go and watch the original if they haven't seen it already and then watch the reaction. Both monetarily and from a creative perspective that makes more sense and is fairer to the original creator. I am enjoying your reactions!
I can flat-out guarantee that 99% of the Pentaholics who scour the net looking for reactors have already watched the original video multiple times, so PTX hasn't lost any views to the nefarious reaction channels. I think I have had PTX official running pretty much 10-12 hours a day for lo, these many moons, now. In addition to that, often enough listening to a PTX cover will make me go hunt for the original artist's version if it's not one I know well. I can definitely state that yes, they "upgrade" pretty much everything they cover. But my other point is that, monetarily, reaction channels can actually help the original artist because sometimes it will send us off to listen to something they've reacted to that we haven't heard.
Dad, I’m 65 years old and see absolutely nothing wrong with acting like a child. Sometimes it’s all that sees me through. Keep being you. Love your reactions.
Todrick produces, composes, and directs music. He is really funny. I'd recommend Twerking in the Rain, for a good laugh, but you would probably have to blur the entire video for age appropriate reasons. Would still love to see you react to PTX Datf Punk medley. Keep doing you and stay Saucey!
@@SauceyDad the song but.... I mean if you're going to physically do it... make sure you record it so we can all get a good laugh. Lol I'm doing fine. Hope everyone on your side is healthy and happy as well.
Want to hear Kirstin shine in an 11 member acapella group check out Voctave's (pronounced 'vock-tive' like live, to live for something) Disney Love Medley. She sings with her then boyfriend Jeremy Michael Lewis and Voctave an 11 member group from the Orlando area. Alot of them have performed in and with Disney World Park groups. It's the 4th Acapella group you should check out. They are quite literally mind blowing.
Fun reaction :) So glad you're reacting to all 3 groups. I think you would enjoy "Can't hold us" Macklemore cover. :) Looking forward to the next video.
I like your plan of alternating through the three groups. As many have said prior anything, that any of these groups do will amaze you. I also fell into the A Capella rabbit hole about 3 years ago, at the beginning I was totally awestruck and dumbfounded by the groups and to be honest I was kind of confusing myself. What I did to set myself straight was to go through the playlist of each group and start watching songs that I was familiar with. I think that this helped me to get to know the groups better and to appreciate the talent more when I watched something "unknown" to me. Give it a try and let us know what you think!
Also as side bar to my earlier comment, all 3 of these groups are exceptional in their own fashion. It boggles my mind the amount of talent that is presented here. The one thing that really stands out for me is the fact that all 3 of these groups respect each other and assist each other. It is not uncommon to see members of the groups jumping into a video from one of the other groups or to assist with the production and arraignment of each others videos. I personally find to make all of the performers "Class Acts" in their own right. Maybe the world ought to take a lesson from these groups!
Laughing out loud!! I know....lol. I don't understand negative people...if you don't like it, don't watch it. Keep your negative comments to yourself. Keep doing your thing saucey dad. You make me laugh like no other!
This made me subscribe. I LOVE that you called out your detractors. I happen to be a sarcastic bastard at heart, so I resonate with this. Great reaction!
You may want to add Avi Kaplan's solo music into the mix. All of it is spectacular. 2 of his catalog Change on the Rise is powerful, and his new song First Place I Go is absolutely beautiful.
Omg I'm giggling like crazy. I love the way you deal with the people who could just watch another reactor instead of running mouths. You do you saucey. I think you're great and I'm glad I subscribed. I love that you reacted to this!!❤️❤️❤️ "Somebody I used to know" is a great old one. "Can't hold us". You really can't choose bad. "Come all ye faithful" for Christmas. Ok, I saw your problems processing, so I need to warn you about Daft Punk, Bohemian Rhapsody (official video), and 90's Dance Meledy. Also Starship. Gold, and Can't Hold Us. I don't think your ready for the rapping PTX. Good luck on your rabbit hole adventure. 🤔🤗😎
You made my day with this one - I'm still laughing with that fantastic apology!!!! (As always the review was great. And I can't stand watching someone doing a review and sits there and just watches the video, never stops, and says a little at the end.
It pisses me off so many people don't know this AND think they know better than the reactor...
Dad, I’m 65 years old and see absolutely nothing wrong with acting like a child. Sometimes it’s all that sees me through. Keep being you. Love your reactions.
Mitch is the tinman, Scott is the scarecrow.
The song? Or you want me to physically twerk in the rain? I can do either there’s no doubt. 😝😝 hope you’re well Xenophi!!!
@@SauceyDad the song but.... I mean if you're going to physically do it... make sure you record it so we can all get a good laugh. Lol I'm doing fine. Hope everyone on your side is healthy and happy as well.
Thank you for the laughter. You made my day. Alaska is amused 🤣
One thing we tend to forget in all of this is, they are doing all the music acapella
If they don't like it, they can leave. You're great.
Thank you Kim!!!
Your welcome
Want to hear Kirstin shine in an 11 member acapella group check out Voctave's (pronounced 'vock-tive' like live, to live for something) Disney Love Medley. She sings with her then boyfriend Jeremy Michael Lewis and Voctave an 11 member group from the Orlando area. Alot of them have performed in and with Disney World Park groups. It's the 4th Acapella group you should check out. They are quite literally mind blowing.
Fun reaction :) So glad you're reacting to all 3 groups. I think you would enjoy "Can't hold us" Macklemore cover. :)
Looking forward to the next video.
Thank you so much!!
The best thing you can do is put together a Pentatonix playlist. Welcome down the “PTX” rabbit hole. Get ready for an awesome journey.
That intro gave me life! That is how to handle the trolls! Now that said, great video! I love when the groups go super theatrical with their videos.
You may want to add Avi Kaplan's solo music into the mix. All of it is spectacular. 2 of his catalog Change on the Rise is powerful, and his new song First Place I Go is absolutely beautiful.
Yay!! I knew you would like it 😊 Mitch was the tinman 😁
Brother. They have TWO grammys for a reason.
Mitch was right before the lion. 2 videos I would recommend is Bohemian Rhapsody and Imagine.
Omg I'm giggling like crazy. I love the way you deal with the people who could just watch another reactor instead of running mouths. You do you saucey. I think you're great and I'm glad I subscribed.
I love that you reacted to this!!❤️❤️❤️
"Somebody I used to know" is a great old one. "Can't hold us". You really can't choose bad. "Come all ye faithful" for Christmas.
Much love to you from upstate NY!!❤️❤️
It's your channel you do you !!!!!!
Just keep being you.... Love you're reaction as it is. Love, all the way from SA 🇿🇦💖
Wow!! Thank you SO much Elize!!!! ❤️
Historically Accurate Disney Princess Song by Rachel Bloom. Hell, anything by Rachel Bloom 😂😂 Insanely talented singer and HILARIOUS
No many how many times I watch this, it remains truly great imo.
Oh wow......thank you for showing us this....never saw this before. So theatrical!!!
I’m laughing. A lot. And the music hasn’t started. Well done. I really love this one because I am a huge Wizard of Oz fan. Thanks for your reaction
Thank you Tracy!! ❤️
Toderick Hall is terrific
You are like the Ryan Reynolds of the reaction world I love you don't change.
The "Home" mashup at the end appears in their @Home EP, as part of a larger Home mashup.
You're hilarious 🤣
I think all your reactions are enjoyable 😄
🤣🤣 thank you Denise!!
This was so much fun to listen to!
Absolutely love your reactions! You make me feel like I’m hearing them for the first time again! Please do you!! Your so fun 😂
You made my day with this one - I'm still laughing with that fantastic apology!!!! (As always the review was great. And I can't stand watching someone doing a review and sits there and just watches the video, never stops, and says a little at the end. If you don't stop it, you'll never remember what all you want to say. Keep up the excellent reviews!)
lol, dude. you are funny as hell and addressed the trolls at the same time. i'm not sure people like that understand irony, but good on you. your videos are hella entertaining.
🤣🤣 thank you so much for that, I really appreciate it!!!
Please keep doing your thing...
I think you are one of the best reactors. I need the pauses, no matter how many, because your facial expressions alone make me laugh. Just do you - thats why we are here. haters gonna hate. so ignore them!!
Absolutely Karen, you could not be more rite!! Thank you!!
You are great and hilarious. Please do not let the few haters discourage you from what you do.
I didn't even need to see the video after that stage show. hahahahahaha Love the reaction.
You're right: Scott played the scarecrow, Avi was the lion, Kevin was the dog, and Mitch was the tin man.
Almost didn't watch the reaction part! Made me snort coffee out my nose laughing!!! Thanks for clearing out my sinuses!!!
Great reaction, Your expression of disbelief was warranted, and yes Mitch is the Tin Man.
I adore this video! The way they pay homage to the original in the background at the end is incredible! I love your reactions, so kick the haters out! The sound is a lot better too. Much love from the UK.
If you want subs up, stick to PTX. We’re die hard Pentaholics🏴❤️🇬🇧👍
Thank you Stella!!
@@SauceyDad FYI on QT Stella is my dog’s name! She’s my baby girl, miniature schnauzer. Dogs don’t judge 🏴👍
Todrick Hall also went to Martin High School. He is very talented as well. There must be something in the water down there.
It's ok that you get remarks that you didn't do it their way.. 2 people remarks is less then 1 percent . You got this, Just let it roll off your shoulder. You can't please everyone . Your doing great . Love your reactions..
Amen Kimberly!! And thank you SO much!!
The intro to this video was priceless!!🤣🤣🤣👏👏👏 I've never seen a clap back delivered more poker-faced smoother than this!!🤟🤟🤟🔥🔥
Mitch did the Damaged, he was Tim Man.(FYI -- Buddy Ebsen of Berverly Hillbillies Uncle Jed was the first Tin Man but nearly died poisoned by the makeup. They changed the formula of the makeup after casting Jack Haley for the role.)
The short bald men were Scott and Avi. Scott- scarecrow, Avi-lion. Todrick was Wizard. Special K was Toto! Watch the KOver of Down to see part of the reason I call him Special K!
I definitely caught “all the Mitch” in my 2nd watch. I guess I was just too lost in the video the first time around!
I’m 72 and you are a hoot…🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is my second time watching you.
Hey SauceyDad....Mate.....You do you....If you wanna pause a million times, go ahead....If the haters don't like it, then they can just not watch.....I love your joy and enthusiasm......
Edited to add....Did you notice Wizard of Oz playing in the background of some scenes near the end......
I did, I was just so mesmerized the first time I failed to mention a ton of things 🤣
And thank you so much Heather, that’s the plan!! 😝❤️
I love how genuine and expressive your reactions are - AND - You are the ONLY reactor that makes me literally laugh out loud. Every. Single. Time. Keep doing you, Sauce-Man. Keep doing you.
Just keep on doing whatever you want! I really enjoy your reactions. There will always be somebody who is butt hurt but just ignore them. You are doing fine!✌❤🇨🇦
