You got lucky with the yellow jacket Brian, they've been bad in Revy this year. Our group of 4 got swarmed and stung about 30 times a few weeks ago! As usual, great video, nice to see some of the Macpherson trails, don't think they get enough credit.
Fwiw Increasing your stack, with a like 5mm spacer and/or rolling your bars back like 5* can pull you back a bit when dealing with steeps with our sacrificing too much climbing
Looks good Wandering wheels looks legit eager for business .Problem with some mountain towns is they have a standoffish too cool for school attitude toward visitors. Like you dont ride unless you have a 7k rig and send it every minute you ride. Advice for visitors would be dont fall for cheap shoulder season room rates unless you like worrying about Grizzly bears / and being limited to wandering the town because snow is too low or visitors have gone for summer.
north americas largest rodent. daughter and i were charged by one during a hike. i think they have vision problems, possibly better adapted to underwater. at any rate - it was clear he thought he was cornered after he tried to avoid us by scampering directly toward a big tree blocking his way. when he turned, we got a glimpse of the white of his eyes and it was clear he was about to make a desperate move :O he did and we were barely able to jump over him as he came charging thru. very creepy was the effect. a different encounter in total blackness in my fishing kayak while trying to get back to launch,.. one apparently came up right beside me, or vice versa, without me knowing and in otherwise hours in natures quiet, slapped his tail on the water. without time for logic, i felt as though attacked by some sort of gigantic fish - ugggh territorial and possible vision problems. not considered dangerous or aggressive but there there is a news story of man bit in femoral by one, bled out :(
Err, didn't you post pix of a beaver on the European trip?? We have Beavers for all to see in the Don Valley rivers right here in the middle of Toronto. Next time you grace the city to ride our amazing trail system, let me know & I'll take you on a tour & include a beaver sighting stop.
Every Wandering Wheels trip of yours is just a blast, man. Thanks for taking us to these trails albeit vicariously. 😊
Most definitely! They get it right!
That opening ride down was epic.

Wow!! You’re dang right I got lucky. I once got hit by 4 at once and that was a pain. This one itched for days!

Although I'm not a fan of this cam setup (too much bike dancing in the foreground), still very cool video
Lovin the new bkxc camera angles lately
Nice!

Us men are always on the hunt for that beaver... 😂😂😂
How does the HD6 ride? what about comparing it to the Ripmo?
That last trail was my favorite, what one is it. I'm heading up there next summer. Fun riding!!
That thing was a beast!
I don’t own a ibis ripmo. But I wonder about my yeti sb160 with X2 and how it would feel with the X.
Pretty good I think!

Ripmo V2s! I have a bike check of it around January
@@bkxc I'm so confused....did you paint it? The top tube logo is throwing me off, as even in the other bike check video it shows a diff top tube logo
Does every city/town in BC possess world class trail builders!?
Pretty much!
Brians just out here looking for beaver😂

Those gloves sure are SEXY! 😂

More tearing down stuff blind . Your specialty !! Then bee sting . Adrenaline anyone ? LOL !
Haha, full on!
I laughed. FWIW, I think you'd make a GREAT zombie.
Hahahaha
How is the Lemon Habanero LMNT? I have it here in my sample pack, but I don't feel having "heat" is a good thing when riding. Does it have the "heat"?
I haven’t had the 🥜 to try it! I’m afraid of spicy and the chocolate one, haha
@@bkxc Haha yes I hear you and I'm the same way. Don't want to be on a ride and then burn my throat.
Hey brian , do have a percentage of code instead of a sample pack of the odd flavors? I was able to try the citrus this past weekend and it was great!
Looks a bit like Maine ay bub
Definitely!
That 'rest day' claimed some victims!
Hahaha definitely!
Last time I rode that trail I had to ride to the hospital straight after for stitches! Split my knee open, blood everywhere.

Hahaha, oh man, you're scaring me now!
Not a fan of that angle. Too much bike. I prefer to see more trail. Imo

Hmmm, I don’t remember seeing a beaver in Slovakia! Can’t remember what I saw! Oh man, I’d like that!
@@bkxc 15:25 of the Trutnov, Czechia video. Granted that's a European Beaver. Lol
“There’s never enough wood on the trail”…that’s what she said
Indeed!
and likewise, the bike shops keep the rocks in business.
Hahaha exactly! The circle of life
Well BKXC I hope someday that you will save a tree by eating a beaver 😌
Hahaha!
I am shorter than you 2 cm and i use a L size 29 er Am fully bike
Somebody looks like he's doing a little better jumping confidence
Just a little
HI Brian! LMNT is vegan? I Don't find any information!
I'd be shocked if it had anything animal in it, but they have a chat feature on their site for you to ask questions!
@@bkxc okay, i find vegan friendly logo! 🤗
