How do you hear yourself while recording?
Product request; I'm somewhat of a novice, but what I would like to be able to do is convert analog beat patterns to digital dance beat sounds (with the same patern) for Mixpad. It's not a beat maker I want, I want to convert the original drum beat analog track, dump it into the software or plugin, and select from a slew of beat choices and have it churn out a wicked sounding digitalized beat track that you'd hear in clubs and raves. I already know how to isolate the beats, now I want to convert them to something ultramodern with pimped out beats that I can go back and replace the original drum beats with. I hope that makes sense and I can't believe that I can't find such a beast out there. If it's within Mixpad's capability to offer this or anyone else's, please let me know how to do this. I would think such a feature would be hugely popular so please let me know how I can make it happen. Again, I'm not looking to make beats, just to take the original beat and transform it to dance house beats leaving the tempo untarnished. PS .... why can't Mixpad have automatic options to isolate the various components of a track (guitar vs Vox vs Synth vs beats etc). I have to use other software to do that and it kinda bites.

On that part, you need to create a folder and save one vocal per time and zip the folder and send it to the mix/mastering engineer.

WHAT do i do if it says u can only record monitor tracks which are configureze to record with asio compatibile hardware and i use a Scarlet monitor and At2020 mic
I also use that, can you please screenshot that, but try insetting everything before you open the DAW. Then try recording, can you please try to make a video showing me what it says and send it to me via WeTransfer and send the link as a comment

Can you please try using a USB Microphone. The software definitely doesn't sense the microphone.
okay so my microphone isnt showing up, like when i push the record button the bar thats supposed to light up doesnt light up. i need to fix it! i dont know if its my interface or if its my mic. it was working before i put the beat on but now it wont work for the other tracks like it wont detect my mic or interface despite the fact the i can hear my voice through my headphones, also its saying my interface isnt compatible wit AISO so maybe thats the reason but i dont know.

How come when i record over a beat and play it back, the vocals are off beat? their not lined up with the beat when i start rapping when the beat hits.

Can you help me ..When i got the program it worked find with reverb...now when I reverb a vocal plays back with loud distortion ?
Try adjusting your reverb. Sometimes Reverb adds crispy character on the vocals, this happens because some reverbs have built in EQ on it

Look for the sound icon on the bottom-right corner of your PC's screen. Right-click on it and select 'Sounds'. Click on the 'Playback' tab and select your headphones from the list of devices. Right-click on it and tap on 'Set as default device'.

Select the device you want to use in the list of sound output devices. ), USB speakers, and AirPlay devices. For any device plugged into the computer's sound port, choose Headphones.

Hey i just downloaded this software. I sang over a beat, but i didnt use a microphone just the laptop mic. My voice drowned out the beat even though I was singing on a different track. Is this normal?
Best to use a condenser microphone through an audio interface. At least that’s the way I would suggest use headphones or studio monitor speakers for playback
Yes, it is normal. You should use ear phones if you want the vocals to be separate, but you'll need to get yourself a cheap microphone as time goes

hi when i record on mixpad there is a noisy sound
Try to connnect your mic well. Maybe it is not well connected or the monitor ( Computer tower) is making internal noise

Can you go to your settings and make sure the microphone recording is enabled. After enabling it, start recording. You can also find the fast recording settings in F4 in some PCs. After clicking F4 try to record again.
Click F4 or go into settings to enable the recording so you can use your external microphone.

To answer your question. You need to get a free Pitch Corrector Pugin which you can use. And install the pitch corrector and use that as the auto tune alternative.
