I like seeing FAs that are willingly coming to Detroit and excited to be here.
Braylon, you got me cryin over here! SoCal kid, born and raised; Been a Lions fan my whole life and I'm so pumped listening to you guys talking bout my team! And yeah, I'm sleeping on the Rams cause Aaron Donald retired! Much Love Maz
I live in the Oakland Bay Area & have been a Lions fan since 89' they are moving in the right direction
Nah bruh…they have arrived in the direction that they were going
I'm looking forward to seeing Reader's effect on Broderick Martin as well. Sounds like a good D-line rotation.
The North is getting spicy, but the Lions DID get better in FA. The North is going to be fun the next couple of years.
January 30th we made a under the radar move that was Big! Mitchell Agude coming off the edge is going to be crazy!
What Braylon hasn’t said yet is just how huge the impact of all these “Gritty” players can have on one another. This many high character, humble, talented player in a locker room can exponentially raise the level of play far and away above the sum total of their collective skill sets. It could actually be hard to fit even more talent in from the draft. We might see half of our practice squad get poached by other teams at the end of training camp. This is how dynasty’s are built.
Yes we're better .. that cornerback room last year was booty cheeks
Yes it was but it isn't exceedingly better IN MY OPINION! I like the Reeder signing if he can sTay healthy. ALL of the signings have injury concerns. And Davenport really didn't perform all that well when he was healthy. 2.5 sacks in 19 games isn't a good rate
He said, and I quote, "You bout to have one side unavailable " 🔥!!!!
To be fair Davenport is really talented dude needs to stay healthy
We are definitely better with reader alone. Anyone who says any different doesn’t watch football
I don't watch football, and I still agree with you.
@@c1985paul thanks Paul!!!
I dont watch Sports and i still agree with you too
I do not agree with you, we are only as good as the weakest Link in the. NFC north
I don’t agree with you but I watch football. Injuries happens
Carleton, D.J, Amik, and Davenport are great pieces to win our superbowl
SB! It’s coming…!
Hopefully
Reader, Gonna make Brodric better? They like twins
I don't think many ppl in Detroit realize how solid Emmanuel Moseley is either. He was SFs top corner for like 3 seasons. With some health and maybe a little luck I think the Lions are going to be drastically, drastically better on D this year.
I hope so. I just have a bad feeling about this guy. I don't think he's capable of playing injury free.
Braylon, Ryan and Tom are the best
Our backfield (RB) was the best duo last year and I know they can do it again. Now switch that with CB I can see it. We need to get some good players to clover the WR.
THOR ⚒️💚🦁💙
Going to be very hard to find an immediate starter at CB selecting at 29th overall. Playing against some great NFL WRs next season. Yes they could get the KoolAid but he will be learning on the fly or in certain coverages in spot time. Maybe KoolAid is already their guy for that dream selection scenario.
Yet drafting 29th there is still great value in OL, DL. This is the meat of the roster
Normally I'd agree but Brad Holmes is Brad Holmes. Brian Branch was like a top 5-6 nickel in the entire NFL as a rookie lol and all 4 of our first picks basically were proven starters by the end of the season. If he just hits on like ONE defensive pick this year the NFL better watch out.
Dan Cambell develops guys
Chicago is grabbing so many high priced FAs. It'd be a miracle if they can get them to mesh.
That Pot a Dot caught my attention!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
A lot Better, and we’re only going to get better after the Draft. Holmes isn’t done in FA either.
Chicago on paper last year was scary but they didn't perform on the field. Sure, they can get better but the consistency, "which is rare" from the lions should push them ahead in the division...
Not to mention they are buying a bunch of big name dudes spending a bunch of money on big contracts. That never works. If you want real success in the nfl you have to draft well every year and have a coaching staff so develop those players. We have a GM and coaching staff for the first time ever that can do both. I’m not scared of the packers bears or Vikings what so ever this year. Our roster and coaching staff is significantly better than all 3.
@@alschbachbI was just telling a guy the other at work that’s a Bears fan. Give 2 yrs and most of those players they traded for or signed with these big contracts, yall gonna be losing players on bad contracts.
Spending the most money in FA don't make you better, getting guys who are good and know how to play football and their position is how you get better! I love the Davis Robertson and Reader pick ups. Don't be surprised if they cut Sutton and next yr it's
CB1 Davis
CB2 AMIK
NIK BRANCH
SAFETY IFFY N BIG KIRB
Still need speed at linebacker get Simmons
He's a safety
@@dannye7612 he a defender
@Jamar-lg9ob he's just a name at this point. What a letdown his career has been. Dude was unstoppable in college literally all over the field
@Jamar-lg9ob Yeah but you said we need speed at linebacker than named a safety.
Can’t just pick up anybody we building a culture full of hard working football guys so many of this top names have egos which is why they are team to team
With as young as our core is, we will be a better team just from the experience standpoint alone.
We’re better, but so is everybody else in the division. We gotta be ready to go and we gotta perform, simple as that
Talk about the inappropriate Carlos question 😅
Little disappointed in Davis all stoned up at the podium with his shades on. Let's hope he gets serious in time for training camp. Cmon man.
If BH is willing to go after guys Davis's size, then he should go after UM's Mike Sainristil. He's on the samller side but he is a baller and not afraid to hit!
Yes I think the Lions should be worried which I have every nfc north split against each other
If Philly didn't fix whatever issues they have in house from last season I would expect the same issues from last year
I haven't been able to take anything Ryan says seriously after he wanted Malik Willis at 2 instead of Hutch
BB#32AR#21👍🫡💪🦁
Philly tanked the end of last season.
And it wasn't because of injuries.
I'm thinking it was because something somewhere significant in that organization stinks.
Matt Patricia
That was Matt Patricia
They know when to ride you pause lololol
Philly is still going to suck because their coaching staff is buns. The Lions are #1 the Niners are #2 and the Packers are #3 but look out for the Falcons at #4 and I'm sure Dallas will be #5. #OnePride
Seems like every time I turn around the Cowboys have lost another player to FA.
I still have sf one they were in the Superbowl unfortunately 😢
@@robertsuchy2369 They lost a lot of players so they are already worse. It's hard to get back to the SB.
You have no idea bro I eat sleep and s*** Detroit Lions. Ive been going on 30 years and want nothing more then to see will this team be successful. But I do feel like they could have done a little more in free agency and if I'm wrong for that shame on me
Don't think Justin Fields is going anywhere. They'll probably trade #1 pick.
Lil bit
They are a little bit better…but that’s all they had to be to get to the SB.
Philadelphia has gotten significantly better by losing Jason Kelce and Fletcher Cox?
The Lions will only get better when Dan Campbell decides to start kicking field goals.
Nah, live by the sword, die by the sword. That aggressiveness won the Lion's more games than it lost them. Unfortunately the one it really bit them was the NFC Championship, it just wasn't meant to be. How often last year did the Lion's get stopped on 4th and short? Almost never. They got stopped twice in that game, if they'd have made 1 of them, they'd have gone to the SB.
And they weren't scheme or play calling issues. The players didn't execute.
Because Dan Campbell is the reason Reynolds dropped two passes in to-go situations, LaPorta dropped an easy first down, Gibbs fumbled on the first play of an offensive drive, Kindle Vilidor forgot how to play football, and Sutton dropped an easy INT. You're so right, Dan Campbell is the reason the Lions lost that game. He told all those players to make all those mistakes. The Lions should just fire him now, he sucks so much that he can't stop players from making basic mistakes.
In case you didn't notice, I am being extremely sarcastic. Just admit you don't know ball and we can move on.
The lions ARE BETTER🎉
why must we listen to the president of the Malik Wills fan club ? such an insult to the audience.
Dude, DET just lost its Pro Bowl OL, u guys gone be cussin Jared out by Halloween.
Guard is probably the easiest position to replace on the ol
@@robertsuchy2369 Its all good now here online but when that ball gets kicked off & CHI & SF is digging in that @ss, i seen this show before when Jonah or Frank was out & having Calvin & Barry all them yrs only having 2 legit seasons of '14 & '91. What a coincidence DET most successful season is the same season the OL was the best position group, not the damn QB, RB, or WR.
@@ttmazz1I agree, losing a pro bowl gaurd is a big blow. I wish we could've resigned him. I know we replaced him with another pro bowl guard. But the dude is 34yrs old, I think? Ragnow is tough as nails but he's had some serious injuries. We really need to focus on our On-line in the draft, imo.
Lions could not get 1 sec of good play from any free agent signing and still win the Superbowl...thats how young and talented they're.
Plus they have continuity.
Having said that I do think they'll get some solid contributions from Reader as long as he starts the season on the pup list...have him ready for final 10 games or so before the playoffs. Dont try & play him a full season as he'll be done by mid Dec.
And can we please get Houston and others on the Watt brothers steroid diet?
Hate the fact media doesn't call it like it is. This been a terrible off season. F GRADE
🤡🤡🤡🤡
Davenport looks terrible overweight
Braylon just runs his mouth about endless nothing
No. Lions are not better.
Because you say so, huh? Stfu
@adgee5401 no. They not better.
Lots of these guys are coming off injuries. If they get healthy and everybody can play, then yes, I'd say the Lion's are better. Need a OG.
@@Masterchief481 You haven’t even seen a practice to know anything.
The Lions would be much better if Braylon was the team
Yes I think the Lions should be worried which I have every nfc north split against each other
