I am a person who wasn't looking for this kind of movie.... but maybe needed to see this kind of movie. Tonight, I am glad that I did. Godspeed to anyone else that feels this.
I have struggled with alcohol addiction for nearly 40 yrs now. I've had my periods of sobriety, sometimes with as much as 4 yrs under my belt. But, I've always seemed to find my way back to the bottle. Always a binge drinker; get my drunk on, and take a few days to clear my head. Through the years it gets rougher on my body and brain. These friends had different struggles, justifications, and strengths and weaknesses; yet the struggle is the same. I think our lead man's addiction is different. He does struggle the same, to not feed his addiction, but I think his is taking lives. Addiction is addiction!
@@GrandmaJanine Thank you Janine! Sincerely. I now have 24 days clean. I know it's not a lot, but it's wonderful and freeing. One day at a time. Bless!
@@kevmodee1866 I was like you brother, a binge drinker for over 40 years. I tried AA a few times and gave it a good go but I always returned to alcohol. Then one morning suffering a hangover I found an old Bible in a closet. I was atheist but I decided to flip this Bible open randomly and see if it can help me. The chapter was 2Peter2. This chapter was a terrible warning to people like me but there was one line of hope ' God relieves the Godly from temptation'. So I said ok, let's be Godly today, I couldn't believe what happened to me in the next week. I was reborn 🙏🤗
Awesome movie has a lot of sense That is why each of us needs Jesus Christ the only begotten Son of GOD because Jesus has the Power to drive out demons that are continuously oppressing us.
Bcuz of this movie, I went to a meeting. I thgt the pacing was S L O W W W... so I forwarded thru his crying & didn't pay strict attn to the acting, tho I listened to dialogue. Kinda feel like I missed smthg lol Still, it got me up & out to a meeting. I stayed sober 1 more day.
This guy's ending is how I am and feel. WOW. Powerful for those seeking group therapy. The program of recovery is outlined in the a.a book. So please don't think these group therapy mtgs is the program.
I am glad that this helps people somewhat. However, I could only watch for about 15 mins. The AA meeting is not a true reflection of normal meetings I attend. People don't interrupt you normally with insults as you talk, actually that's not allowed in most meetings. Also, the lady said she thinks of a drink every day for seven years, that is not my experience in sobriety. After my first month of attending meetings, my obsession to drink was lifted after I got a good sponsor and did the 12 steps program. Joy came back into my life after an absence of it for decades, a new light entered my life, a new hope. AA meetings are not somber depressing places, we are not a glum lot as depicted in a lot of movie scenes.
Thank you for sharing your story. Everyone is different so we need to hear them all and find the one we resonate with and know we're not the only one going through this. We know our film's not perfect but it got you to share your story and that's more important. Keep sharing.
Exactly, it's a fact that quitting booze not only makes your world a better place to be in, good things start to “magically” happen and the energy is insane! Steffon Barkload's Quit Drinking Forever, that’s the best shortcut I go’ogled that took less than a week to work without suffering withdrawal.
This mean there is other button ( dislike ) and it dont show us how many people dont like it. And about movie? Mostly problems addiction is because parents dont care about thier childrens from start. @@StevenConstantine-fw2kn

A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step
Thanks for taking the step in faith.
I grew up drinking before the legal age went to bars lost my driver's license now I am 63 I don't go out anymore but still have some beers
We can't become what we need to be by remaining what we are.

Then why don't you do it better...stop complaining about FREE movies .
Really stupid and misleading movie. It's not like this. Best thing in it was the P2 V70.
