Some sunny yet cold days
Changing my decor from winter to spring.
Way sooner then I used to.
My mom has the Rainbow vacuum that belonged to my grandparents. They are fantastic vacuums. They can be a bit cumbersome, but they clean very well. If you ever find a Rainbow (or a Kirby), take it to a vacuum repair shop and they can clean and service it for you. It’s worth it.

I was amazed to see the Rainbow vacuum for that price. I paid $1100 for mine and it is still going strong 30 years later!
Yes to all the comments just below! I hang my hearts at different levels from red satin ribbons. They will go on many things and in many places around my house. Like: a metal tree limb on the wall in my dining area, from the lights/chandelier over dining table, in my entry way from wall sconces. You are so clever you could think of many places! I like this because it makes quite a statement with minimal materials. Keep up your good work.

My children love those little toys for a quiet church toy. Just a handful goes a long way and they can make all kinds of things. Also the rainbow vacuum was an absolute steal. They’re something like $1300 used. You better believe it that I’d be cleaning a vacuum if I found one for $10!! 😂

I saw the Last Supper in Milan at Easter when stationed in Italy with the US Navy. Such a beautiful painting and so much Biblical history right before your eyes. Perhaps the price will be reduced soon. Be safe. Love your family videos. What makes them especially appealing is the family members' thoughtfulness in what they present. Good, wholesome fun things. I wouldn’t remove the peonies from the little cart to plant a live plant in the cart. I love the peonies and they look great in the cart.

Julie the next time you go to the thrift store and you see the cork on the back. Coasters with like a paper on the front. You can take those and paint them. On them, you can put Christmas paper. Do something with the background whatever put your children's pictures on there. Put a thin magnet on the back and let them put them on your refrigerator you could use some c** put in a row on a ribbon to put your children's pictures on. I do all kinds of things with those coasters.I got 200 of them last year and I'm making ornaments out of them.Now they're really reversible.You could do anything with the coasters

Watching this morning for the 1st time, enjoyed it. 🤗 I'm shocked you found a rainbow vacuum! I paid $2,000 for mine 20 yrs ago. Still works like new; it has a Lifetime warranty! Cleans great, has 2 sets of attachments, one for wet things. I would have grabbed it in a heartbeat 💓 & resold it if nothing else. Just saying ☺️ Did I mention it also is Great for filtering your air! We love ours!

I just love going thrifting with you. I get so excited I see so many things that I'd pick up. Some of the pictures just takes my breathe away. You have so many figurines, the little birds, and the lady's that are so cottage. We just dont have a lot of them here. I love your thrifting better than anyone else that I've tried to follow. I have the little yellow cooler (11:18)! Great for a kids juice box or little fruit slices. I use mine when I travel for my meds. Love that thing. Keep in the back of the fridge so it’s cold when needed

Julie, another great video! You found some great items. Liked them all. My “favs” were the mixing bowls set and the Warm Christmas Memories piece. Just had a thought. Since your family likes to get into the act of cooking Christmas cookies, maybe place a photo of everyone with their aprons on and holding their rolling pins on the memories piece. Bet the grandkids would love it! You could change it every year.

Thanks for taking us with you shopping. The mixing bowl are wonderful. I found 2 yellow and 3 different sizes in green. I use them all the time. The rubber on the bottom helps them not to move on you. Have a wonderful weekend. 💓🦋💓

Loved how you styled the silver heart shaped cookie cutters along with the red candle jar. The warm memories picture frame with the insert for a family picture was the absolute best! Good finds on the two Christmas floral pieces. These are so versatile and the look like good quality arrangements. All great buys! 👏🥰

Another great video. The wreath was too high. The Christmas greens are beautiful and I would have snagged them too. Maybe if you put the items on your husband's night stand on a tray you would like the 🐖better. It gets lost sitting on the black and white. The mixing bowls are beautiful and I want them 😍

Loved this haul. If you dont find a frame for the Navy picture, you could paint it red to bring out the red in the piece. Also I took spray adhesive & put material on my cork board. It hides holes. Loved the little trike. That's my aesthetic.

I agree with you about the wreath...too expensive. When you do as much thrifting as we do...it's hard to pay those prices when you know that if you just wait, you will find something similar for less.

I have had a Rainbow vacuum for over 22 years. We got it when my daughter was just a baby...just after we found out she had asthma. It was the best investment in an appliance I've ever made. I have never had to replace anything and since it traps all the dirt and dust in a basin of water, you don't have to buy bags or anything. I ended up with it in the divorce! lol
Lastly...Kara's daughter is so smart! She's only 7 and she can look at a 2D image and recreate a more elaborate version in 3D...wow! Nurture that gift! Much love, as always!
