Farming xp on Gaige has never been better. Also, you can do this in normal/TVHM too
4:51 infinite kill skill gaige builds are honestly slept on. (Mainly because it requires a glitch) but it's damage output is next tier, I've soloed every raid boss in normal mode before I hit lvl 50 and without true vault hunter mode gear.

Yeah not saturn is a decent xp farm (did it on my recent krieg to 80) but takes a good set up and definitely isn't amazing
The issue with this method is my item luck. By the time I get a chain lightning, I‘ll be level 80 just from farming the Badass Sorcerers

There is also an alright maya xp farm using the kill skill stack glitch. It’s not crazy powerful and takes a while but you can AFK at the vault of the warrior. Do the the rakk constantly being agro at the player if you kill them they will continue to spawn try and attack and die to blight phoenix.

Funny enough, on lower difficulties i know for sure that works with gaige having the skill where deathtrap gets meter back with kills, you can just leave her idle there and deathtrap just keeps killing the rakk
The last 20 or so levels of BL2 are basically a full time job. It feels never ending. A lot of mental pain.
I got from 60 to 80 on zer0 farming mick for only 5 hours, you just have to be active.

@Boz196 I don't think gib is a good resource to direct people, regardless of position, unless they ask for that specific alternative. The game becomes trivial, and to a certain extent, not as fun, because of not having to work for it. Or that's my take anyways.

@NbNgMOD It's a good take tbh. If someone tells you to use gibbed to get your character to 80, why not just use gibbed to get perfect gear immediately after?
You're already editing your save to skip a long process of grinding XP, what's going to keep you doing the long process of grinding your gear?
If you're going to edit your level you may as well just change your character to level 80 and then skip to UVHM. There are ways to do it.
It's my birthday haven't been keeping up with playthroughs too much but I still appreciate what you're doing

Joltz I know of a way to get lots of badass tokens with Gaige. Probably works with maya, you need to do kill skill glitch and slag face mcshooty or the leprechaun in rotgut distillery. They have infinite health so you can stack dmg and earn the slag licked achievement over and over again. I think the damage is so high it resets the achievement. Don’t know if anyone else knows about this.
You will have to drop a lot of skins that you earn from the achievements
This was patched awhile ago, the achievement stops giving after 999,999,999 damage.
@@cjyoung5635 I’m still able to do it I think the damage goes over the cap and resets the challenge so stack a lot of kill skill.
@@alanduran8966 I'd have to ask what version because standard PS3, PS4 this specifically is patched.
(There's another were you just sign in and sign out of your PSN and it basically doubles your badass rank each time)
The fact that BL2 of all games still has a solid player base to find this kind of stuff a DECADE after it’s release really speaks to how good of a game it is

I fkn love Borderlands 2 so much, I recently just started playing Borderlands 3 and although the games a step down in quality in a lot of ways, the gameplay is still so much fun and Im falling in love with the series all over again, the nostalgia is so real.
But I gotta ask how do you still play Borderlands 2? What do you even do to have fun in it?
I 100%'d the game in like every way imaginable, I farmed the very best parts of every single unique red text, legendary, pearl etc
So many hours, so many memories, a lot of it with friends that arent around anymore, trying to play the game when I can recite 90% of the dialogue off pure memory, its more of a trip down memory lane and a bittersweet feeling, like wishing I could go back and experience it for the first time again.
On that note seriously thank you to you and the other guys that made so much borderlands content, some of my best memories, I played this game when I was young tween and watched you guys and now Im starting my adult life, getting my degree soon. Joltz, Bahroo, K6, Afterkill, Yote and so many others genuinely made my day so many times and your videos and this damn game really pulled me through some of the worst times.
Still finding stuff like this all these years after lol. You are the best Joltz 😂

Another great method with the speed booster is doing the time trail races, you don’t need a car at all. You go to the start of the race and just keep completing it. Easy method for Torge coins and XP too

The "double or triple dipping" feels like build crafting in tiny tina wonderlands dots you can stack like crazy.
I liked that DoTs were a viable build path in Wonderlands
When stacking with gaige use the avenger. If you're on controller you can use a rubber band, or if you have a pro controller you can click the trigger down with the adjuster
If you slagged the enemies, the fire dot from EB will actually double dip the debuff, so it's like a 9x bonus. Unfortunately it also double dips the OP level damage reduction which is why DoT Gaige isn't really viable at OP10.
Around OP6, Catalyst Gaige with a Lightning Bolt grenade is still strong for a doubly penalized Electrical Burn. Chain Lightning has a much lower DoT than Lightning Bolt. Of course you need good aim with the bolt, similar to the Fastball.

After the Cassius farm. If you get the avenger/ammo regen smg. You could run back to Marcus and get the corrosion/slag testing mission.
Then run to the back. And make sure you have 0 ammo. And hold down the fire button. Cuz u always regen ammo. Gaige will be forced to reload killing the target.
Put book on ur mouse. Wait for a few hours and free xp.
Love new glitches and tech being found to this day!

The highest DOT item is the blue shock magic grenade. Also if you stack A LOT, you can speedkill pyro pete, pancake yourself under the elevator und play the fight again no erdidium needed. And from my experience 5 points in electrical burn is generally enough to proc on pretty much every shock DOT, so I'd go 6 points into evil enchantress instead if you don't need the hyper consistency.

I bought a new mouse recently and it has a free scroll mode, so I could finally try those floaty car jumps in BL1, or crash my game in BL2. (I did both and both of them are kinda cool.)
I did this glitch with my Maya and Blight Phoenix. I just stood on the top of the target dummy in Santctaury. I left the PC on overnight and got level 80 by the morning.
its really crazy how ive played this game since i was in elementary school and there is still new exploits being found
I leveled gaige with this glitch by killing the dragons, all you need is any shock weapon, and any fire weapon (because you can't do a shock DoT to the shock dragon, and you can't do a fire DoT to the fire dragon, so they take a little while longer but they still go down fast and you can farm erridium and crystals at the same time)
Also, tip. For leveling any character you can do the morningstar glitch and farm the dragons too, that's what I did on my 1st character after finding that glitch.
You can also farm the warrior moonshot glitch for XP on any character.
This Gaige glitch should also be possible on Maya as well so yea.
And here i was, adding 3 controllers to stand at the 3 last checkpoints of the torgue race mission to bust a U-turn at the first gate and finish the race in like 11 or 12 seconds. Gets you a bunch of torgue tokens too.
Side note: You can just do that race solo with the new glitch for super easy torgue tokens.

I just started BL2 for the first time. I’m struggling to get into it, but I LOVE Gaige, so I’m working my way through it.

awesome video. I don't know if you have covered this in a video or not yet but I found a way to both infinitely farm the moonshot warrior kill for xp and his loot on console. what you want to do is call in the moonshot when it kills the warrior and you get the xp. you have like 10 or 15 seconds from when the warrior gets killed to when the mission objective marks off for killing him. if you can find the legendary he drops, pick it up and manually save by turning bar on and off again you can dashboard which would allow you to both keep the xp and the item he dropped and when you load back in you can call the moonshot again and repeat. Fo pc i would imagine you follow the steps above but turn on read only after saving but I am unsure if that would work.
Joltz, not expecting. A response, but the halloweens DLC with pumpkin head gives 15,000 XP without his head. Dying and respawning respawns him, and it gives 100,000 XP every 5-6 minutes. I’m not sure these bosses give you that amount without teleporting directly to them.

I just bought a new console and am working on maxxing every character again, currently lvl 36 on gaige, this is gonna be crazy
Update: Few key pieces of information, if in TVHM, and significantly underleveled (i was lvl 42 when testing) the damage reduction is so immense that you cant kill even with 300 stacks most times, and it also seems that the electrical burn skill doesnt proc anywhere NEAR as often if underleveled, for some reason. Second, this is a really good BAR farm too, due to burn damage rollover, almost as good as bunker zero with slag. Third, you can kill incinerator with it, if you put WAY more stacks into it, with electrocute damage. although the typical 200 you can get him half health with a few grenades. Lastly, A peppy zapper is just as good, and a bit more consistent in my testing, (i think the boost from more pep actually applies to how quickly electrical burn procs) scorching is only better if you REALLY care about not stacking too much, but its only like 25 extra stacks with peppy.
also, chain lightning is the best, as he said, but the lightning bolt is just as good for damage, but a bit harder to hit consistently, you can settle for that if need be.
Exodus made DOT build on gaige fairly viable, but yeah, really wish it was in base game man.
From what I recall the master gee sandworms give pretty decent xp

If only most raid bosses didn't resist Fire or Shock DoTs this build would be legendary but its still super fun to zoom around deleting mobs.
Hey Joltz, can you do One Ability Page runs with all 6 characters? I think it might be fun... Rules are, start a fresh run and play with one ability page only, filling it up all the way to UVHM. It might be a challenge that you haven't done before making it crazy entertaining. Take Care🙏🏾✌🏾
Just a shower thought but I wonder if gaming will ever return to its glory days where we have games that are good for generations now it feels like games are only good for a year or 2 some even less then a year. Love that we keep finding new things in such an old game

hey jolts i wanna play more borderlands but it just doesnt feel the same. how do you get past that. been watching you for i think ten years at this point and you never get suoer tired of it that i can see. switched to pc three years ago lost all my progress and cant seem to play 2 at all anymore it sucks
For the gobbler, you can literally just use Skyrocket on any character and it will easily kill it with a few tosses, and since the rocket scales to you, you never need a new one. not QUITE as fast since you can't run as quick to the exit, but it's still an insanely easy high XP farm you can do on literally anyone using only 1 piece of gear that you get on every new character.
also, because the skyrocket murders gobbler so hard, you can like throw a couple out real quick to get him close to death, and on Krieg you can suicide for a pull the pin and get 2X the XP in a single run

Pete's bar isn't a better farm? You can reset the brawling mission again and again. That is my go to farm cause even on normal the mission scales to 50 and you can farm to lvl 50.
So I just figured this out for console instead of save quiting you can just go to the highlands and travel back if your doing the clan wars and they will reset as long as you don't kill every one just mick zaford or Jimbo and Tector hodunk it save so much time at least if your on a slow console.and at lvl 44 with the build joltz is showing rn I can do each run within 10 seconds without counting the load screens ofc

btw yesterday i found a new glitch on sal if you swap your weapons the LAST second it will but and the offhand weapon will be on screen but unusable, if you swap to the weapon on screen it stays there until you open your inv

Joltz, what about the one in hammerlock dlc? You can pay the eridium to open that raid kill and exit the arena for it to respawn. The one with the witch doctor aid
He mentioned it - that’s “vora” (voracidous), he resists shock status so it doesn’t work.

Woohoo! People always play Gaige with the stacking anarchy whatever skill and the fibber and, yeah, that's not a bad build and it can get very good, but it's not a unique build. It's just your standard gun damage build. But I prefer Gaige's SHOCK damage build as she is the very best character in the franchise for raw shock damage (probably the only one with so many traits exclusively built around shock) so I gear her that way. Thing is it's not the greatest build, but because of this video I can now make her shock damage end game viable!
No way, I was just earlier today thinking about how I'd need to grind Gaige to level 80 somehow, wondering if Bad Maw would be easiest or not.
