Weeds are a fire hazard. He should be uninsurable until he cuts a fire break. The rest of us should not have our insurance go up nor have tax payer support for people not being sensible.

My insurance canceled me due to fire hazard.Since I own my house and property, I now go without insurance. My bare property is worth more than my house and property cost me when I bought it years ago so if it was to burn to the ground I'm still ahead of the game. Some time you just wing it,if I insured everything I own I'd be broke.Glad I own it out right.

Not happening fast enough! Definitely does not feel like a priority

Build in a risk area and pay the price to properly insure. Simple. Other people don't want to pay for your risky behavior.

Stop building your houses in the middle of the wilderness or forest

Home insurance is a rip off some people have money and they don't have to have insurance they could just fix it themselves I personally would not have it

If you pay cash for your house or own it outright, you aren’t required to carry insurance. If you have a mortgage, the mortgager will require you to carry insurance to protect their investment.
