It shouldn't be that surprising the opening movies to the DCEU were panned so it kind of failed from the start. Man of Steel, Batman v Superman... They got a few good ones in there Wonder Woman, Shazam, and since I'm like the 12 people that watched it, The Flash.
The epic voice guy impersonating Nicole Kidman's voice probably made more people Orichalcum in their pants than all the fish in the sea that actually watched this movie.
The repeated bleeping of people saying "Orichalcum" had me laughing so hard I had to pause the video and come back and finish it like five minutes later. So freaking funny!

Aquaman and the Lost Plot: How to Kill a Movie Forced Comedy. Seriously, there's hardly any action of drama for a superhero movie. I think most of us can agree the DC Universe has been pretty much dead for years, but this was definitely the final nail in the coffin. A fitting end, at least, that embodies everything that when wrong. This review's gonna do better than the movie ever did.
Blaming this movie for killing the universe is at best a fallacy, just like it was for Black Adam. WB gave up on this universe years ago, this movie was the aftermath of the sick patient being taken off life support.

This film reportedly cost $205m, then add another $25m for marketing, means that it needs to make $560m at the box office to break even, and only made just over $400m, leaving a hole of $160m.
