I find it odd they have a second row bench in this and yet in the Sequoia, a more family oriented platform, don't offer a second row bench on the higher trims.
Definitely worth the money over a gx. Do your research and figure it out. It does need a slight refresh outside and inside. Expecting changes in next few years with lx700h as start
I can't get past the body shape and that front grille. The curved D Pillar and rear hatch of the LX makes it look like a lifted Subaru when lifted and a rear tire carrier is put on back. And lets not get started on that front end. I am hurt that we only get hoodwinked with the 250 as if that is a REAL Land Cruiser.
I have this vehicle and it’s way better then then GX imo and yes looks are subjective but we literally get stairs everywhere we go. GX is nice and all but if you can afford it why not
Looking for an opinion? My 2 cents. I have owned 2 yukon XL denalis, 2001 and 2009. After those I purchased a 2018 Cadillac Escalade. Absolutely beautiful truck and ride. It had 20 inch wheels so smooth on the road. Had to get rid of it after 26 visits to the dealer for various issues, GM never corrected and became frustrated. Purchased 2022 Lexus GX 460 Black lIne edition Nori green pearl. I think it's gorgeous ( biased opinion ) The 2 Denalis ran really well for many years. To this day I regret getting rid of the 2009. The GX has been great now at close to 36,000 miles. I service it regularly and took it to the Car care nut for 30,000 mile full service. I am very happy with it. I want to give it to my son, but what do I replace it with? Which brings me to your question the Yukon AT4. I find that truck super attractive. I've been looking at the Ultimate trim. Why I would chose it over the GX 550. Way more bells and whistles, super comfortable, off road trim, way more space, way more comfort for all passengers, 20 inch wheels I'm sure will give you a superior ride, but GX 550 anyway in the Overtrail trim will not have 22's ( my GX has 18 inch wheels rides is very very smooth) ( no air suspension in the black line) Why I wouldn't get the AT4, I still might but... Might still have issues with torque converters, also issues with carbon build up, issues with : The mode that turns cylinders off and on which on GM vehicles is called Active Fuel Management (AFM), which allows a V6 or V8 engine to "turn off" half of the cylinders under light-load driving conditions to improve fuel economy; the newer, more advanced version of this system is called Dynamic Fuel Management (DFM), capable of deactivating any number of cylinders depending on driving conditions. This has proven to be problematic. GX 550 has V6 turbo charged, still needs to be proven, you may need a new engine soon because of the problems Toyota has had and it is not luxurious at all. The only trim that has KDSS is the Overtrail. So if I buy a new truck I am still leaning in favor of the Yukon denali ultimate AT4 . I would not purchase a GX 550 and not willing to drop 120,000 grand on the LX 600, at least not at this moment.
I'm just glad the Overtrail is coming to the US. Its way out of my price range... and market (I'm a truck guy). But I'm just glad there's going to be a 300 Series that's triple locked coming to the US... at least in some form. I still much rather have the Land Cruiser 300 styling over the Lexus LX but yeah... its just cool its going to be available here.
Driving both the new GX and LX the difference was obvious. Despite the increase in HP & torque in the LX relative to the GX, the LX is noticeably less responsive. However, the ride quality and luxury is significantly better in the LX and the new 700 should improve performance and off-road ability dramatically. I prefer the slightly smaller size of the GX but the more luxurious cabin of the LX. Difficult decision…so I will stick with my Mercedes GLE AMG 63s for now…
@@BenHardyCarsWhy Ben ? Lexus is bringing the LX 700 H OVERTRAIL, which is more capable than the Landcruiser 300 and it has better materials and it is built to a higher standard. And by the way, the LX 600 is basically a LC 300. It makes absolutely no sense to make that comment.
@@BenHardyCarsBen you need to do your homework when it comes to the LX and the LC 300. You obviously have no clue what you are talking about. The LX 600 is basically a LC 300. That LX is such a failure. Granted it's the same wheelbase that it's always had, it just feels smaller than the 200 series and with a clunky center stack. Idk what Lexus was thinking honestly. But it looks nice I guess
That grille will double as a security gate for your home
This is Stronger Than a Infiniti QX80
How? The qx80 is a better value for the money, and for what they are both offering.
QX 80 all day! Only difference is resale value equal reliability

Click-bait. This is NOT a 2025 LX600. There are several big features in the new model that you have disregarded!
As others have said, this is not a 2025 model. It is a 2024. The 2025 has several upgrades including full digital dash cluster etc.
LX600 looks great; I am excited to see your review for the LX700h Overtrail though!

The real test will be if these retain their value like the previous gens with the 5.7L V8. I have my doubts, but time will tell.
The LX570 doesn’t really retain its value that well. They are down 50% in 5 years or so.
The Land Cruisers seem to be worth 20% more

Any word on when the LX700 arrives?
@ someone mentioned in the next few months???
No massage seat?
This vehicle is perfect for going squatching 🦶🏿😵💫😍
For me definitely lx!
Doesn't appear to be a shortage of new cars and they are still being delivered.
@joehammond2586 bro u are a lil slow the shortage ended months ago there was a shortage like by an yr back but now it's almost over.
Ben is biased because he owns a GX 😂
Lexus built a cool suv like it
