It WAS weird to abruptly get VIDEO NOT AVAILABLE message after having just started watching it. Looks like there were just over 100 views of it already after the few minutes that you had uploaded it. We REALLY appreciate all your work!
That was a good cliffhanger in episode 142. I've actually been looking forward to this release all week. This whole split-times thing is an engaging enough quest, that I'm actually invested. Right up there with the one where we found out about heat leeches. I've always been fascinated by quantum mechanics. Not that I can really understand them. But just trying to wrap my head around the fringes I do know about it is so cool!
From 24:30 Dont worry mate the distrust isnt unfounded im the same, its from the mannequins gitching out on skyrim and appearing to have nothing on wthey have armour in their inventory 😂. That being said atleast these one dont move around your house and ship like in skyrim lol. Imagine getting out of your pilot seat to find a gitch mannequin has teleported behind you.
Welp, guess I will repeat my comment lol. Thank you Gopher for the Starfield videos. I know this series is ending "soon" but because of you I decided to get Starfield. I don't really care for the main story (I have SKK fast start and disabled Constellation) never really did it in Skyrim or even Fallout 4. I play Bethesda games for the side content. I hope to see Starfield continue/come back in the future especially with all the mods planned example someone is making a Dyson sphere.
The first interaction with Nishina is the distress beacon in orbit, which would suggest that the "original" universe is the one where the station is destroyed. Or that the distortion bubble is much larger than just the station itself. Could be that the "intact" universe is the original, and you switch to the destroyed universe upon entering the system and receive the distress call.
I'm pretty sure she's saying that the whole research station exists as a bubble, separate from your universe and split in two parts, and when you entered that bubble, the first of those parts that you interacted with was the one where everyone was alive. The fact that you're in it makes whichever part of the bubble that you interact with at the moment "real" and the other one "not real", that's why you could pick up things in both parts, because you're the outside observer, you being there and observing things actually connects them temporarily to the "real world". Anything outside the bubble should not be affected by what you do at all. When you pop the bubble, when you shut down the distortion, whatever is inside the bubble at that point in time will be what merges with the rest of the universe you originally came from. It would actually be interesting to see if you could save everyone by just having them evacuate the station in the universe where everyone is alive except Rafael, and then pop the bubble while in the other universe.
We're living in a simulation, Gopher just proved it. Thank you for all the amazing content, I still regularly watch all your skyrim and fallout lets plays.
I swapped the wrappers around on my wife's Halloween candy. She didn't appreciate the joke at all. Now she's got her Snickers in a Twix over it. I got told a joke about candy bars. It wasn't that funny, so I just snickered.
Hehe! That first one made me Chuckles(tm) pretty good. A nice Twizzlers-Twist on a classic phrase. I'm not gonna sugar-coat it though, I'm a Butterfinger when it comes to thinking up puns. So, I better wrap it up, leave it to someone actually good at them, and take myself a KitKat break. ;) PS: Strangely, that IS the better version of what I tried to type up. This one actually makes 'enough' sense, without me needing to write a whole translation down afterward it in the comment itself. ;)
Awww man! Now I want to watch the next one but then I won't have one for later when I'm bored. What a dilemma!!! However, if I don't watch it now, I'll be bored now...sooo...I'ma watchit now! Really enjoying your SF vids Gopher. Thanks for all the entertainment.
When talking to the Director you say "this is my universe" but remember that you came here after hearing a distress signal on a satellite, that came from the 'other' side, from Raphael.
I've grown to hate this mission. At first I always aaved everybody.then I just didn't care. I just did it as fast as i could. Now I'm trying to find a way to kill everyone 🤣🤣🤣
Sorry about uploading the wrong episode earlier :)
Grrr....
Someone got the message through eventually.
you would have laughed if you had seen me trying to find the video I missed for nearly 30 minutes...

18:59 Shot at Quarico and all of Australia? 😂
Great series, Gopher! Watching you and the release of the CK make me want to play it again.

this is one of my favorite quests, Bethesda did a good job on this one👍

This quest was simultaneously one of the best quests in conceptual terms, and the most frustrating to play through.
I hope future dlcs have multiverse jumping quests similar to this one that explore potential parallel realities
I've been watching this episode and thinking the whole time, "This is the worst situation for Mr. 'No Direction Sense' Gopher."

Give me a break. Give me a break.
Break me off a piece of that Kit Kat bar.
