Oh wow didn’t know you could save everybody!
What do you call angry facial hair?
Pistachio.
I used to hate facial hair.
But then it grew on me.
What sort of facial hair does a soda grow?
A root beard.
#1 👍 #2 👍 #3 👎
I narrowly avoided making a terrible facial hair joke.
It was a close shave.
Heheh. Root Beard. I happen to quite like root beer, so this one was my fave this time.
Lol!
I never finished this experiment! I wonder what else I might have missed by not reading journals and just following the quest logs.... 🤔
Holy crap, I didn't know this quest could be completed this way. Man, I really missed out.
I saw someone else do it this way and I said oops… sorry for all those times I killed your Rafael.
The whatever those are bombardment rant had me cracking up. Catch a smile out there. o7
When I beat this quest this way the first time and got the cutscene after pressing the switch my thought was "Welp.. game is over. I deleted the universe"
Awesome! Now I feel like I failed, but so glad you pulled it off correctly.
I was rushing and didn't read the note properly, poor raf....
Gopher, if you knew ahead of time that there was a way to save both sides, you did a really good job of pretending that you were fumbling your way into it. Also, rants for the win! 🙂
This was a first (blind) play through, so I pretty much knew nothing back then :)
My God!
The suspense was incredible in this episode. 😮
"I think I understand!" -Gopher
...I just woke up half the building by bursting out laughing. ;)
I was very much expecting you to save the "wrong" reality (assuming there was a real/fake one, and not just two equally (un)real in a superposition on a probability matrix), since you had got it into your head that the pretty reality was the real one; despite having arrived to the base after receiving a mayday in orbit from the wrecked reality. :)
Glad it worked out though and the realities seem to have just somewhat merged together.
But the reality I spoke to on the intercom was the non devastated reality. So either way, a message from both universes made it out of the facility. And I feel that a radio signal 'escaping' the other universe is more likely than the wires doing likewise. Although, that's just a feeling because I am not remotely qualified to talk about multi-dimensional physics :) I also thing that the transition from one universe to the next is quite noticeable and dramatic. And I don't remember seeing such a transition until once inside.
I’m thoroughly enjoying watching this, but I will admit I finally used a walkthrough each time to do this part. It was completely confusing to me. 😊
It's probably better not to ask what Raphael ate for all those months...
GD scientists!
Yeah, that was pretty much my thought process as well.
You can always count on people with more brains than sense to find something foreign and shiny and blast it with radiation, bombard it with lasers, or poke it with a stick; all BEFORE stopping to consider the ramifications.
I didn't know this either then I actually saw it mentioned somewhere and finally figured it out thru trial and error.
And I've never saved both of them again 😂😂😂😂
It's like lockpicking, the rewards aren't worth the trouble.
“He doesn’t have the epic facial hair…”. What part of “living under a pile of rubble for two months” did you miss? 😅
No, the guy living in the rubble HAD epic facial hair. The guy that died in the accident had basic and boring facial hair :)
Has anyone found anything in a locked container that was worth the trouble? I haven't.
Only in Jaffa (Jaffa III if i remember correctly), there is an Ecliptic base with a couple of master locked contraband containers, I left the system with 38 contraband items and had to make a run back to my ship halfway to unload because I was overencumbered.
I assume Starfield works on the same logic as Fallout 4, all story necessary locks will only be novice so you can bypass them without the skill upgrades, but the master locks get you special features like sneaking up behind the Mechanist and not having to fight the waves of robots.
Goph might be the only person still playing Starfield.
Well I'm definitely enjoying watching him play it, that's for sure ;)
Us smaller channels still do haha
There are a few channels doing mod/creations reviews.
I haven't stopped dabbling since it launched, with no end clearly in sight.
There are literally about 10 different videos popping up in my recommendations every day. Most are just tips and tricks, along with ship builder guides. Followed by a few Let's Play Vods.
I only watch Gopher's Vids and Elianora's Starfield Modding Tutorials, of which she just put out about four vids. 👍
Edit
Fixed grammar
Much more pleasant beginning of the shift at work ☕️🙃
Nice. I was wondering if you would figure out the secret 3rd ending.
My only complaint about the Sense Star Stuff Power and the Scope/Perk that highlights targets; not being able to see what your actually hitting.
I had to use console commands to remove a couple different abilities. The Chamilion Invisibility Perk was one of them. Because similar to a few Perks in FO4 (I'm looking at you Nuclear Physicists), they sound really cool on paper, but in The Field, they suuuck!
The answer to your last question: priorities 😂
Re: Epic Facial Hair, One of the true mysteries of the multiverse.
I'm so glad he finished the experiment 🎉 for what it's worth I think that the 'other' universe would have kept going but that Rafael would have died of starvation/thirst and been eaten by those things ...
I got that outcome as well, through similar amounts of sweating and fretting!
Awesome! PS, the vid is tagged as Baldur's Gate atm.
Horraaaay
So, Goph old buddy, I'm havin a stupid attack. How would I even go about using CC mods AND nexus mods together on Starfield. I have to launch SF thru Vortex to get nexus mods to load. Wouldn't that mean CC mods don't load?
Vortex handles the 'Creations', and believe it or not, if you manage your load order in the Creations menu, it shows all files, including the ones installed from modding sites such as Nexus :)
@@GophersVids yeah, I'm not even sure what that looks like. I really don't want to start my modded games with Steam or CC.
I think I'm just sticking with Vortex. It's been good to me ever since you showed me how to work it.
@GophersVids ok so on PC, I go to creations tab, click a free mod and Vortex will pick it up just like if I click a link on nexus?
@@GophersVids So I peeked at the creations tab and looked at their load order manager. And it changed my load order without me asking. Now my better ship flips isn't working. It changed it in vortex as well. it and the patch should be loading later (I'm going on deploy order because without a plugins tab for vortex, I'm not sure what designates load order) but Vortex now loads them at like 16 and 19 and they were deploying like 148. it also had the patch loading before the BSF mod.
I made a rule that fixed that but it made the patch go to 19. blah blah blah. I know you got shit to do but if get time after your vacay maybe a moment of help?
Is there a way to make Vortex load mods later when there's no plugin tab?
it took me way to long in this quest to realize THAT YOU CAN SCROLL THORUGH THE FREQUENCIES :D
Wow I really messed this one up
Several times.
@11:20 ish. Folks have been saying that since Daedalus.
Just this once everybody lives - The Doctor
I did not know thia was even possible.
