I think this is more like redonda and reverse redonda except when you broke it down during the 1:19 mark i think that one was the reverse sinawali, but thanks for the tutorial of the reverse flow i've been looking all around for this, much appreciated sir
3/1/2019 New subscriber. First time post question: Prior to my Northern Shaolin teacher moving away, we used to study Wing Chun (WC) form adjacent to our Shaolin practice. Over the years I became aware of the similarities of body placement-foundations in various styles (lineages). I noticed almost immediately that the Sinawali shares a commonality with Wing Chun elbow placement. Just an observation. Both WC and Sinawali require the practitioner to keep elbows close for Centre-Line tensions in the former (during any given movement) and for ″the over & under″ in the latter as you described it in video Guru Mark Anastacio for the Sinawali. as a person who got used in sinawali and redondo with many variations and drills. this reverse sinawali is just confusing and a bit tricky.. I've been watching for a week now and I still don't completely get it lol.. hopefully I get it anytime soon
sorry, man, for my english, i write from Belarus... it's very far from Canada) probably you can do some programs about different sinewaly (strait and reverse you show and understand), but as i know (maybe it's not corect) in classic sticks have about 16 sinewaly... and very itresting combination legs and arms))) because when i working correct with arms my legs do somesing wrong and when i do correct legs, my arms dont working correkt))) i practice 45 degree legs, but i need some time))) sorry for my english) best regards and have good trainings
