Max Gauntlett extremely wrong. Even donkey Kong for the nes was made from the arcade cabinet and Kung fu master (also known as Kung fu) was released 1984, the same year the karate kid came out
Correction: The arcade version of Kung Fu, known as Kung Fu Master, came out the same year as Karate Kid.
The NES/Famicom version of Kung Fu came out the year after.
Who ever thought we'd have a resurgence of "The Karate Kid" (Cobra Kai) on TV & a new "Top Gun: Maverick" movie in theaters! 😀🤓👍

Kung Fu was my very first NES game! My parents had the NES in K-Mart Layaway and I saved up to buy the game. Great memories..

THIS the real Karate Kid, not that 2010 version, that honestly I really don't know why was it called Karate Kid when the whole movie, they fight kung fu

Maybe one day, if someone gets bored, they can do a mash up of the movies and the karate kid nes game? I know it's not as well known, and although the game was difficult, I loved that soundtrack. I know it was played much more often on my system than Kung Fu was, lol!
