Me being 17 and having a dad who watched this movie and played this game before loosing his eye sight, it's crazy that I've just found and bet Contra a few months ago and seeing the movie a few years ago, it's amazing seeing this video can bring me and my dad close together, even after how long it's been since he lost his eye sight he still enjoyed being able to help me bet the game and me being able to help him relive his childhood. This video just brought everything together! Thank you for this video RetroSFX, keep up the Amazing work

Sly and Arnold are so old now though... can't think of many campy A-list macho man actors nowadays besides Dave Bautista or Dwayne Johnson, they're great actors but don't give off that same 80s vibe.
They used both of them and the Xenomorph from the Alien movies for the NES box art, the one guy on the left is nearly a complete duplicate of an Arnold still from Predator....they did it with Michael Biehn from Terminator for the Metal Gear box too.

The most important aspect of why you are good at this is your sense of taste and knowing which games were the best and how great the music was and how to use it to an effect like this. Man, you make me love the songs all over again when you put them in a new setting that works. Great job creating a sense of nostalgia and freshness at the same time.
And I am sure it was as awesomely accurate as other movie-based NES games, like when you fight gigantic spiders in Rambo, throw bowling balls at people carrying glass and hula hoop girls on the street in Back to the Future and dodge spiny-like creatures ripped from Super Mario Bros. that made their way into Back to the Future 2-3
