As the owner of this amp, I have to say it sounds even more beautiful than it looks (which is saying something). It sounds crystal clear at low volumes and develops a beautiful natural overdrive at higher levels. The vibrato is smooth and sounds great. I play guitar usually just as a hobby but this amp has really made me feel inspired and love playing even more than I did before.
The only downside is that it's so nice that I can't rest my beer on this it and need to use a side table.
Labros was great to deal with too. He kept me up to date with my order, was responsive to emails and completed everything within the estimated time frames he gave me when I first ordered the amp. He sent through photos with different grill and handle options so I could choose the ones I thought looked best. All in all, a 10 out of 10 from me.

I have a achillies apollo b45 4x10 victorian oak rossana red lacquered finish. i absolutely love it, sounds as amazing as it looks. my 19 year old son has just started an apprenticeship carpenter joiner and looks at it in amazement. This amp will be handed down thru the family as i will never part with it. thanks for such a beautiful and killer sounding amp Labros

Labor’s built a 1968 head cabinet for my 77 2203 and the attention to detail, craftsmanship and materials is top shelf. The original 68 plexi amps he used to build looked incredible.

Love my Achillies Argos 40w head! Considering a Nyx 8w combo. What wood and finish are you using in the video above? Does not look like pine! And how would go about ordering something similar for a Nyx 8w?
Good to know you’re still loving the Argos! Malaysian Rosewood is the name of that wood, finished in Linseed Oil. I barely have enough of this extremely rare timber for a few more amps before it runs out. We can talk about all the specifics and specifications over the phone or via email as this would be a custom order build.
