That was a lovely ride for sure. Much happiness for the new, old job. A proper job you might say. Oh good luck with the difficulty Twinks. I thought i had it once as very rarely, I would get very dizzy for a day or two and as you know, the nausea is the worst. It happened so rarely and I could walk about, holding onto things but was completely OK sitting still. It was something to do with crystals in my inner ear, displacing. The doctor just moves my head about and I can do that at home. I hope you get some relief quickly as it is deeply unpleasant and a terrible waste of time. 💖🤞

As a rule she just goes about her business and tries to not let it affect her life, but she’s been caught out in awkward situations. Hi Jeff, up to august this year motorcycles didn’t have CT’s in France (MOT) all you had to pay to use a bike on the road here was insurance, my RE is only 2 years old so it’s another 2 years be for its first CT but I had to get my Vespa Sorted in august passed with flying colours 13 years old 😊 €70 and it lasts 3 years, not yearly like the uk, so not much of a hardship, I’m retired 6 years now the word work is bowel loosening 😂😂😂😂 hope twinks see some improvement soon, ….. Hey Pete. How interesting 🤔 In Ireland we were told that there’s no MOT or equivalent. You are just expected to keep your bike well maintained and if anything should happen due to poor maintenance you could be in trouble. Haha, work sucks but it keeps me in bikes 😎 Many thanks my friend 👍🏼
So sorry to hear about Twinks's problem which must be very embarrassing for the poor lass at times. Here's hoping it gets sorted really quickly. A welder and fabricator, eh! Well we all know where to come if we have any mishaps with our bikes. Good that your three bikes all whizzed through their MoT's. Luckily my two are exempt from MoT's and vehicle/road tax.

When I recorded this I had just finished filming the next Bikes and Backdrops, which kicks off with your photo, and along the way I stop at Trethevy Quoit. Brilliant little bike that ER5. I was actually going to keep it and use it for work over the winter. But the space in the garage will be useful, and I have the Himmy. What do you need welded? Sorry Jeff just a thought has twinks been drinking enough as I can suffer from vertigo nausea fall over if I don’t neck at least a couple of litres of water or weak squash a day, dehydration causes vertigo, just a thought,

Aw no; Mania Disease is awful. A couple of close friends have it. It is controllable; but (isn't there always a but) the damn thing does like to remind you it is there from time to time. Please tell Twinks, it gets better. Done many thousands of happy miles on ER5's. Our training scheme used them when I was a bike instructor; great bike, I loved riding them. Not many about now, especially not a good as Pablow. Congrats on the clean sheets. I hate MOT time. Always such a relief when they pass. Thinking of Twinx; ride safe my friend.

Thanks for the update Jeff. Two out of three ain't bad ( the bike health situation ! ). I hope that the new job is going well and it's probably a fair bit safer than the tyre fitting with such huge tyres, I would imagine ! 😱 I had something similar to what Twinks is experiencing ( and no, it didn't involve too much alcohol the day before, although of course I've experienced that as well 😜) although in my case it turned out to be an inflammation in one inner ear which put everything totally out of whack for an entire week. All I could do was lie in bed with my eyes shut, otherwise I'd start throwing up all over the place. So I can sympathise with what Twinks is going through and hopefully it won't trouble her for too long. Take care you two, love from Spain. As to the old job I understand what happened to you as something very similar happened to me, changed my role and location so as I was near retirement I told them to stuff it!. Well she’s been told if it is Menieres the only treatment is tablets, of which possible side effects are dizziness and nausea 🤷🏻♂️ She tried them and unfortunately they made her ill. Yes I very nearly walked away when I learnt of the whole work situation. I decided to give it a shot, but it wasn’t for me in the end. ER has a lot to answer for 🤣 Many thanks my friend

Brilliant little bike that ER5. I was actually going to keep it and use it for work over the winter. But the space in the garage will be useful, and I have the Himmy.
What do you need welded? I have a little TIG set at home. Once the bike has gone I can have a sort out which will enable me to actually get to it 🤦🏻♂️

Sorry Jeff just a thought has twinks been drinking enough as I can suffer from vertigo nausea fall over if I don’t neck at least a couple of litres of water or weak squash a day, dehydration causes vertigo, just a thought,

Very observant. It’s the waist strap of my rucksack which I neglected to fasten. It isn’t long enough to get tangled in the wheel, thankfully 🤣
I hope they manage to get Twinks's Meniere's under control, or better still, that it isn't Meniere's at all and sorts itself out. Good luck with the new job. The only time in my career that I had an unwanted change of role, it turned out to be the best thing that happened to me. Sometimes these things happen for a reason.

Aw no; Mania Disease is awful. A couple of close friends have it. It is controllable; but (isn't there always a but) the damn thing does like to remind you it is there from time to time. Please tell Twinks, it gets better.
Done many thousands of happy miles on ER5's. Our training scheme used them when I was a bike instructor; great bike, I loved riding them. Not many about now, especially not a good as Pablow.
Congrats on the clean sheets. I hate MOT time. Always such a relief when they pass.

Ah yes the ER5’s are brilliant little bikes. I actually fixed it up to keep and was going to commute on it through the winter. But the lad was quite taken with it and the garage space will be handy. Rolled him out for the last time this morning and said adios 👋🏼

I had something similar to what Twinks is experiencing ( and no, it didn't involve too much alcohol the day before, although of course I've experienced that as well 😜) although in my case it turned out to be an inflammation in one inner ear which put everything totally out of whack for an entire week. All I could do was lie in bed with my eyes shut, otherwise I'd start throwing up all over the place. So I can sympathise with what Twinks is going through and hopefully it won't trouble her for too long.

Sorry to hear about Twinks, is there any treatment for this condition? As to the old job I understand what happened to you as something very similar happened to me, changed my role and location so as I was near retirement I told them to stuff it!. Isn't it funny that anything with ER in the title causes trouble!
Well she’s been told if it is Menieres the only treatment is tablets, of which possible side effects are dizziness and nausea 🤷🏻♂️ She tried them and unfortunately they made her ill.
Yes I very nearly walked away when I learnt of the whole work situation. I decided to give it a shot, but it wasn’t for me in the end. ER has a lot to answer for 🤣
