Do the ejecting shells hit you in the face or get in the way? I’m interested in this rifle because it’s ambi but the ejection port is still setup for a righty shooter
I have a left-handed Remington 788 that ejects to the right and I've never had a problem with shells hitting me in the face or getting in the way. I also shoot all other long guns left-handed, and I've never had a problem with ejecting brass hitting me in the face, and that covers semi-auto, bolt-, and lever-action rifles in various calibers as well as semi-auto and pump-action shotguns. Some blowback operated semi-autos with particularly short stocks (like the first-generation Kel-Tec Sub-2000) will blast hot gas in your face, but the empty cases still won't hit you.
@@Kaelland well im left handed and ive always had issure with semi autos hittime in the face i had burns on my right arm from a model 60 when i was 11 thats why all my semi autos are left hand
Better instructions than the manual. Thank you for showing us
Savage just keeps making rifles leaps ahead of the competition. How did no one think of this for 100 years?
Blaser has been doing it for a while, they even allow you to change ejection side. Only downside is Blasers is a premium brand and has a premium price
just got one yesterday, thanks for the video, made the switch easy because the manual was a bit confusing

I’ve shot both left and right handed rifles, ar and Aks and I’ve never hand that problem
Very helpful, thank you
Gotta ask. Is anything on the bolt made of plastic?
Nope! Steel
we need a 350 legend version
