Good lookin setup there Jeremy. Really opened up some good floor space, and with the added bonus of protection for your rods, ya just can’t beat it. Bone peaches my friend!😁
I’ve been desperately in need of some sort of rod storage/protection in my Chevy E2500 van or the land yacht as I call it and happened to see this at Walmart yesterday. I wasn’t sure about it so I came home searched for reviews and how people were using it. Surprisingly you have one of the only videos I could find talking about it but luckily the video answered all of my questions and more! Going to pick one or two of them up later today! Thanks for all the info!
Really appreciate you watching and checking out our channel! I’m so happy that the video helped you out. If you have any additional questions feel free to ask😁
How does it handle the rods when trailered our out in rough waters? They looked pretty flexible so I am concerned that the rods may not stay in place trailering down the interstate. The velcro straps look like they might resolve the issue.
It holds them steady no matter what. I’ve hit barge wakes at full throttle and have pulled the boat on the trailer at 80mph. As long as those straps are on they will not budge!!!! Thanks for watching!!!
That’s an issue I actually thought about no long after I made this video. In addition to being painted with multiple coats of epoxy paint, I added a rubber gasket at the mounting point to eliminate any metal-to-metal contact. After over 2 years of being installed there is zero signs of corrosion or galling. Great point to bring up!! Thanks!
I don't even own a boat anymore and I loved this video! This was a great step by step guide. And it was very encouraging! Pretty work! Pretty work!!!
Thank you Michael!! Could only have been better if you would have narrated for me😂

I was really getting concerned about damaging a rod, especially with 4 and 5 people in the boat. Needed to do something!!! Thank you for watching!!

@@CreoleCatfishing hahahaha, i was trying to say it the correct way!!
What’s the fun in that😂😂😂😂😂
Generally you would have the top velcro running down hill. If there's ever a issue, you can always add a couple snaps onto the velcro for safety.
I actually turned them around about a week after making the video. Appreciate the tip!

@@CreoleCatfishing Thank you for the quick response. I appreciate it.
Might have to do this to my jonboat so i can stop having line get marred when im towing the boat (cause the rods bounce around against a wood seat) ;
Yep, another reason I built this. Could be done with aluminum if you have the means to weld it also. Thanks for watching!!
Welcome.
May I suggest you look into the downside of modifying your aluminium boat using steel?
