    That is a great method. I personally have used Army Painter Zealot Yellow. it does 85% of the work, and you can come behind with all the other paints as show.

    Thank you so much for the no-cut, single take video. It removes any question about what happened next and how to go from step to step. I love this technique and have used a variation of it on jet pack bases. Super good to see it presented so clearly!

    I'll be doing this with Iyanden Yellow, Gryphhound Orange and Blood Angel Red. Can't really justify buying 3 more colours 😅

      You want something that contrasts it - something like this would work great - or if you wanted a blue flame maybe - pylar glacier, frostheart and leviadon blue

    I struggle to paint blood on Blood Angels for aesthetic purposes, the flames on Salamanders, and the tesseract glow on Necrons lol

    Thank you! Don’t know how many “pro” UA-cam painters paint fire and add the colors backward- where the lightest(hottest) colors are furthest from the source of ignition. 🙄

    can I use contrast medium with similar colours to get a similar effect? I don't have such contrasts.

      You can try - practice on some parts or sprue to see how it goes

    What is the difference between Blood Angels Red and Baal Red?? Oo

      Baal red is a brighter, more consistent colour

    Ngl no matter the painting technique those plastic flames and smoke effects just look ugly
