Star Lord the movie is now my favorite Spiderman movie. it gave me everything I wanted in a Spiderman adaption. the only thing I wish was in the film was a direct line referencing uncle Ben instead of peter just alluding to it.

Star Lord the trailers definitely decreased my hype even though I knew Sony was marketing it. once the marvel studios logo with the 60s theme song played in the movie though my hype was completely restored and I knew spidey was home
This dude is so fucking funny. I really hope he gets a chance to get better roles in the future. Not just the supporting character roles. He had one of the best lines in Homecoming.
Star Lord, LOVED it my dude. Marvel delivered in every way. Spidey finally feeling like a kid, messing up constantly but still trying, showing how the life of a superhero isn't always non stop action 24/7, taking liberties that work, NY felt like a character and it felt like a realistic NYC, a great villain, avoiding cliches, etc,. Also the best comedy I've seen since Deadpool. I haven't seen a movie where EVERY joke landed in my first viewing in a really long time. I would've done some things differently, but they really nailed it. Can't wait to see Spidey be the face of the MCU down the line.

Criminal Vol.1 is fantastic. Criminal got me hooked on any Brubaker/Phillips collaborations. Too good. I have to go through my collection of TPBs and HCs and decide what I'm taking with me. Moving from Milwaukee to Vegas in Oct. and can't take it all. The stuff that I consistently re-read is being shipped ahead of me (Sandman, 100 Bullets, Preacher, Transmetropolitan) and some slipcase HCs I can't part with (Planetary, Authority, New Frontier, Watchmen). This is killing me. It's like choosing which children to save in the lifeboat from a sinking ship.
