“He’s so scary.” I’m glad this was acknowledged because I think that a 30 foot tall, hyper-intelligent newt wielding a giant, flaming sword would be terrifying.
Man, all the Marcy stuff hits me so hard in this one. "In examining her memories, it's doubtful you ever were friends" is one of the hardest lines in the whole show. And just that cut to her watching the movie on the credits makes me tear up EVERY time. That poor girl.
2:28 "Weapons, take a weapon, leave a body." Polly never changes. She's having too much fun with the war 😂 But seriously, we are so near the end now. It's so rewarding to see so many characters together. It's a blast for those who have seen the show from the very beginning, seeing characters from episodes that felt like fillers playing a part. Also, while we never met the Grubhog again in a separate episode, he's there too, charging, along with his vulture friend. Even little Bailey is there somewhere Alycia. I'm certain you remember him. See if you can find him 😉
I have to say, I'm really impressed with Alycia's guess that Marcy's knowledge of the movie would be the downfall of the heroes' plan - she is the first reactionist to instantly connect the plot details and make this guessing! Also the whole episode (especially its second part) was a total win from the multiple cameos of old characters to Anne ans Sasha's amazing battle dance. And looking back it's really hard to believe that the show about funny talking frogs would end with the invasion of Earth...
This show has been making anime references from the very start, but they really ramped them up in the third season. The dance fight sequence was a direct reference to the Israfel fight in "Neon Genesis Evangelion", that tandem-kick finishing move is an iconic moment in anime history.
King Andrias and Darcy have breached the dimensional barriers and have entered Earth. The invasion has begun. Our forces have shrunken. The resistance failed. The Newtopian empire won. But it isn't over. We've still got our greatest weapon: hope. That, and a good 'ol superpowered Anne Boonchuy. Next week, the final battle continues.
I LOVE the message that no one can fix centuries of hating eachother in a day! But Anne did the one thing no one else could do she got the healing started! I kind of loved to hate Sasha for how she was being a bit of a hypocrite in this episode but she is still learning how to be a good friend and learning how to forgive is one of the hardest parts of that. Still I would have liked them to mention that Sasha is just now reallizing how hard it is to get betrayed and she did it multiple times. Finally Andrias' line "I am not that good of an actor" has soooo much deep meaning. He seemed like a great actor when he was "faking" being a fun loving guy who cared about Marcy. If he is not a good actor then he was not acting!
The ending of the second one makes me sad every time. Darcy is still terrifying and her words make it so painful. I myself am neurodivergent, so I have some difficulty making friends and I try to connect using media we both like often, so I totally have felt what Marcy does when she tries to share the movie she loves, only for it to be ignored. Mrs.Daniels/Sadie Croaker yelling "Thats a lot to process, but okay!"about the Moss Man kills me every time. Can't wait for your ending reaction and I look forward to your next show(which I expect is "Tangled the Series", because I've been hoping forever for it.) The ending made me cry. Just saying. Not many shows have done that.
Not to mention, you can officially forget about SVTFOE and its TERRIBLE finale, ‘cause as far as I’m (along with everyone else) concerned… Amphibia & TOH is how it SHOULD’VE WENT DOWN
This is it, the end is almost here!! Watching your reactions to this show has been amazing, and being able to see what you think of how it'll be wrapped will be interesting.
I love shows with ongoing stories (like Gravity Falls and Owl House), but I hate when they mess up the continuity: it took the Plantars the first half of the second season to go from the valley to Newtopia, but in this one, their whole army makes the trip in ONE NIGHT?!
At some point in this series I realized just how much crying is happening. I don't think I've ever seen a show (animated or not) with so much hysterical weeping. This should have aired in the Hallmark Channel.
Did you catch the grubhog flying in the background? When he got picked up by the bird in season one, he said they were off to war and the next time you see them they're in the war!
I don’t mean to be that guy, but there is a massive continuity error in this episode that nobody ever talks about. In season 2 it was established that it took like 2 weeks to get from Wartwood to Newtopia. In the beginning of the end Anne and everybody else gets to Newtopia from Wartwood in like 2 minutes💀
@@lulystalgianature2968 the air cavalry doesn’t fix the problem. As seen in the episode of most of their army was going there on foot and a time skip doesn’t help either. Mother Olm said that Andreas was invading that night so yeah it’s just a continuity error
@@barelyhere7200 Another explanation would be that, unlike when they went to Newtopia the first time, they did it very slowly on Bessie, with lots of rest stops. Plus it's also possible the terrain changed a lot with the war, including the lack of trees, which would've made the terrain much more easy to navigate.
@@barelyhere7200 Wouldn't have been a problem if it wasn't for Mother Olm's warning. Perhaps it was very early in the morning when she gave that warning. Also, due to the change in terrain and the fact that there was a war going on, not to mention Sasha has been in Amphibia during the war for far longer than Anne, it's not strange to think she would've known the fastest route to Newtopia.

We’re about to go “All In” with this finale everybody
Watching it end will be "The Hardest Thing"
I see what you did there
_eye see what you folks did there_

I love Alycia's love for background characters like Bessie and the Moss Man. -gasp- Hi honey! So cute!!

Already close to the finish line, been a good year with these reactions
Frogs, toads and newts are finally working together. The invasion is about to begin. The last two episodes will be intense and heartbreaking

7:28 that Dance Fight was inspired by Neon genesis evangelion 😅
Welcome to the finale! You're in for a real treat these next two weeks...
Not to mention, you can officially forget about SVTFOE and its TERRIBLE finale, ‘cause as far as I’m (along with everyone else) concerned… Amphibia & TOH is how it SHOULD’VE WENT DOWN
You can tell the look on Andrias face in The Beggining of the End he dose not want to invade Earth
We're in the endgame now folks. The dance fight was so much fun

That's before the froggy invasion 2 parted series finale
This is it.
Did you catch the grubhog flying in the background? When he got picked up by the bird in season one, he said they were off to war and the next time you see them they're in the war!
Great reaction!
Such a good finale!
nooo don’t end :( such a satisfying rewatch with you tho!
Poor Anne she's crying
This episode is amazing!! I hope that you enjoy it
soon.
You love Yunan and Olivia together... well there's some good news for you in the future
i think there’s an argument that they really weren’t ever “good” friends to each other (in part cuz of their age/maturity)
This is it
let's get her to 50k
2 episodes left.
I hope you’ll react to the ducktales reboot series
Awesome!
Super long episode next time?
