I love to catch big females however I don't bother them until their done spawning just my opinion . And that's an educated opinion due to my dad and several friends established the LCWA lake Champlain walleye association we raised and released many many walleyes over 25 years we were involved it's still going here in Vermont

There is only so many rivers in wi that you can catch that caliber of walleye. Little tip find a river off Lake Michigan. The fox ain’t that hot but lots of looked over places that are absolutely gas

It's not river fishing by me so the season is still closed. My neighbor seen the beach a couple blocks away just packed with glowing eyes the other night
I suggested to him to fish a lure without hooks and see what happens. I'm going carp fishing later tonight. He bought a bottle of wine and said he'll be too drunk to fish

Those are nice dude 100 % agree with fishing at night for the big ones I have been fishing at night as well and even fishing in the mornings at night and then it's a different story the bigger ones definitely show up

I feel bad for yall wisco got that catch and release bass all year and plenty of spring walleye opportunities where regs and limits change during spawn only so people aren’t keeping everything
Dont really see the logic in bumping and weighing a bunch of these spawning walleyes. Not to mention the time out of water. I really enjoy watching your videos but it would be nice to see some more care for the fish.
