Okoboji is a great lake. I caught a 7.39 lbs bass earlier this year in a tourney on that lake

Was at Spirit Lake - right next to Lake Okoboji last Friday (6/7). Caught my PB smallie that day....6lbr. Fished with my dad and my sons Ben and Noah. Making memories

I LOVE your content sobi. I feel like you put in too much effort to make your videos quality. I remember the fist time seeing your stuff the quality and the sub count didnt match up right.
I watch a lot of youtube. Advice would be to film more often. Lower quality. Your personality and the fishing makes the content. Not the editing. Upload more often. Once a week at least. And your channel will explode.

The second you said it puts Tonka to shame I crossed this lake off my list for life. Tonka is the absolute worst on a nice Saturday. I can't imagine anything worse tbh!! Hate it
If you go during the week or early in the season then it's not bad at all.
pro tip, there are no big bass in creeks, only rivers and run offs

Silver Pike are very very common up there and the surrounding lakes.
That’s so cool there is a thriving population around that area!
@sobifishing it's a round 20% per the Fisheries Biologist. People mistaken them for Muskie. Wish I could add a pic. The hatchery up there has 3 colors of Pike in area lakes.
