    I can see them doing a flash forward to Saul being kidnapped by Jesse and Walt when they first met, in which the scene plays out from Saul’s perspective giving the scene a sense of intense fear. Only to reveal it was Jesse and Walt and not the cartel. I think this would work great because the original scene in breaking bad everyone (the audience, walt and, jesse) all knew the real intention behind kidnapping Saul but Saul didn’t. So this would be a cool flip of perspective. I could see them playing this scene at the beginning of the episode, then later showing the events that instilled that fear and frantic within Saul in the first place. Tying everything together nicely and providing a simple cameo.

      There’s no way they’re not gonna actually show Walt and Jesse or just have them as some tiny cameo. There is not a single Breaking Bad character who hasn’t been brought back for a reason, Walt and Jesse are gonna play a new role in the story whether people like it or not. And that cat picture that AMC released is NEW and from the set of BCS, so we already know we’re gonna see them unmasked. I do think we’ll have to see stuff related to his kidnapping since he mentions Nacho and Lalo in that scene in Breaking Bad, but Walt and Jesse are gonna play a role in the story, and probably even meet Nacho/Lalo/Howard/Kim/one of the new characters, we are not only gonna see stuff we already knew, we’re gonna see a new layer to their characters, that’s just how Vince and the crew rolls.

      @@nighTmareCSGO I am. The only time I’ve ever seen a fanbase not understand a show this hard is Attack on Titan. Vince Gilligan doesn’t do fan service cameos, he doesn’t bring characters back for no reason or to show what we already know about them, literally it’s a 100% chance that Walt and Jesse will have an important and new role that changes the context for BB. That’s simply how they do cameos, their cameos will change your understanding of a character or they won’t happen at all, and we have direct confirmation that they’re happening, so take that as direct confirmation that they’re gonna change our understanding of Walt and Jesse.

    Are we completely forgetting about Vamamos Pest? In season 5, Saul introduces them to vamamos pests saying he’s been “legally pulling their chestnuts out of the fire for 5 years” which would put them around 2003-2004. Maybe he uses them to steal, or even plant something in Howard’s house as another scheme.

Once he'd got that idea, spinning the gun and looking at that Lily of the Valley plant, I think probably he crushed some of the stuff up, put it in a juice box, got into Brock's school somehow."

    I think there’s something huge you missed in regards to Skinny Pete. If I’m remembering correctly, the reason Tuco is introduced to Jesse in BB is because Skinny Pete was his cellmate. If they’re talking about Tuco’s stint in prison that results from Mike’s actions in Better Call Saul, they could very easily have a scene or two of Tuco in prison with Pete. It would make sense for the show too, since Tuco’s return to the Salamanca operation would be something worth showing.

    Walter White pretty much has to be in there. He had such a profound impact on all the characters lives. Their approach has always been to include major characters like that if they serve a major purpose in the story, and he does. Well see how the prequel timeline bleeds into Breaking Bad and how much time they’ll devote to it, but I dont see them doing any of that without Walt. Jesse Im not as sure about, but Im gonna say probably.

He sort of raises his drink and has a look of respect towards Saul. I always found that scene interesting with the context of BCS. Then they could finally show him getting it, and cut to him stopping in at the A1 car for the first time to wash with it once he gets it, and seeing Walt there then. Remember, they showed his Cadillac getting taken away on a tow truck in the opening of the first episode of Season 6, and he has still yet to get it in Better Call Saul.

    In the 2nd half of the season, I think Mike will somehow introduce Saul to Gus to help with something Lalo-related (that's how Saul will know Gus in order to connect Walter to him later) and something is going to break, introducing more antagonism between Mike and Saul. OR Saul is going to work with Gus agains Mike's warning or something like that. The one bad thing between Saul and Mike doesn't have to be huge, Mike just has to be sure like "yup, this guy is not stable / trustworthy, so I'm gonna avoid him as much as I can" and then he'd be annoyed when in BB he's forced to work with Saul frequently.

    • @lizzgonzalez9272

      Your last point is exceedingly interesting. Saul knew a guy (Mike) who knew a guy (Gus). Knowing what transpired in S6 E9, I would this would have cemented Mike’s distrust/dislike of Saul.. Why would savvy Mike hook Walter up with Gus merely at Saul’s request?
      I surmise that Saul and Gus are introduced at some point? That would make sense of Mike’s “we had a good thing going” comment. Perhaps Mike has to pull Saul in in order to complete the super lab? Maybe Gus requests some sort of deal with Saul after seeing how Saul protected Kim by seemingly throwing her under the bus which made Gus realize that the lab was ultimately where Lalo wanted to lure Gus.
      In addition, remember all of the times Saul pushed Walt and Jessie to keep cooking? I think he was already getting a cut of Gus’s proceeds (perhaps for keeping quiet about the lab) before W & J ever came along which made him richer. And we all know how greedy Saul is. What do you all think?

    personally, even though I already saw the cameos and enjoyed them, I would've liked to see Lalo stop by at the car wash or just accidentally meeting Walter White having no idea who he'd become in 2004. It'd also be cool to see Lalo in some way encourage him to do something like what he did, which would unintentionally secretly screw Gus, his biggest rival in the future. It'd also fit in perfectly with the timeline, since Walt first starts working there in 2004 while Lalo could still be alive while not seeing Walt do anything actually illegal, we'd see him be encouraged to do so by no other than Lalo himself in some way.

      Gene learning of Walt's death likely would have occurred prior to any Gene scene we have already viewed. Gene's scenes take place with snow falling outside in Omaha. Omaha historically hasn't ever received snow earlier than September 29. Walt died on September 7, 2010. Additionally, there are clues that suggest that Gene was locked by the mall dumpster no earlier than October 21, 2010 (Rich Eisen podcast).

  • @Brosethorns
    @Brosethorns 2 роки тому +3

  • @Tykoon22
    @Tykoon22 2 роки тому +3

    Okay, so first, Breaking Bad episode 508 is titled Gliding Over All, not Gliding All Over, and episode 515 is titled Granite State, not Granite Slate… Gliding Over All is referencing the Walt Whitman poem (actually titled Gliding O’er All), and Granite State is referencing New Hampshire’s nickname as the Granite State (which is where Walt is hiding out), and is actually the second reference to New Hampshire after episode 501 Live Free or Die, which is the official state motto. Minor mistakes, but still important titles to get right.
    Second, I think most of these fan theories range anywhere from wishful thinking to completely off the rails. The most important thing to remember is where Breaking Bad is primarily Walt + Jesse’s story, BCS is primarily Saul + Mike’s story, so anyone introduced into the BCS storylines would have to make narrative sense and be in service of the currently existing characters. The best way to think about it is as someone who is watching BCS, but has never seen BB. For them, something like a family barbecue at Walt’s house would be completely random, out of place, confusing and pointless… Why is this happening? Who are these people? Why is that one DEA guy from last season here? Where are all the regular characters? It just doesn’t make any sense. For BB character cameos to be done correctly, they would have to be introduced through the existing BCS characters, not just on their own.
    Third, I don’t think the final moments of BCS are going to lead directly into Saul’s first appearance in Breaking Bad. I think it’s entirely possible We get to see what else Saul, Mike , Gus, etc… were doing during the events of BB anytime they weren’t dealing with Walt and/or Jesse. The same timeline of events, but from different characters perspectives - those are always stories worth telling. I think my favorite Saul Goodman scene from BB is when he absolutely destroys Jesse‘s parents when negotiating the price of the house… Oh my god, give me more of that.

      I need for the creators to make the Tuco/Skinny Pete thing happen. More background on their interactions (or lack thereof) in or post prison would be perfectly fitting since I surmise (hope and pray) that we’ll get to see Tuco take over post Lalo.
      It was made clear in BB that Tuco didn’t like SP and was pissed that he flexed their non existent relationship by bringing Jessie to Tuco’s ‘office/social club’. I feel like SP was a pivotal character and want to see more of either an interaction or at the very least an explanation of some sort.

    I have a theory that Jimmy will move back to ABQ and live in Walt’s house. The trailer where he rips the wanted sign off the wall already alludes to him returning to ABQ, and it would be a callback to what Mike said to Jimmy in the episode in S1 of BCS about the Kettleman’s hiding in their “own backyard”, the place where no one would possibly think they would hide.

Like come on dude lol, he'd still be a wanted criminal, and he would still be living the same depressing life, except he probably wouldn't be able to show his face at all since he's well known in that area, and Walt's house seems like kind of an in-universe tourist attraction, it just wouldn't make any sense. Even if he found a way to beat his charges and become a free man somehow (which I think is definitely a more likely theory), he could live wherever he wanted to. Why would he choose to live in the place where he has the worst reputation and history? Plus that's just so sad and pathetic, imagine if "nevermind, I'll fix it myself" just ended up meaning he's gonna squat in a trashy abandoned house lmao

    What I'd like to see is when they use Walt and Jesse in BCS, so much time has passed they both look so much older. I know Mike does, too, but he's been in it in the whole time so it's been less shocking to see the age progression. Showing Aaron Paul as a 19 year old will look silly. My solution is this: there are always deleted scenes from every episode that were cut for time. Go back thru those and use one (or more) that would work as part of the story they are telling. It would be new Walt and Jesse footage, but filmed 10+ years ago.

Then they make the 2nd half of this season’s first episode the ‘breaking bad’ titled episode and make it all hidden scenes! Almost like a breaking bad reunion clip show but with all scenes we never saw before! We know that the editors and directors of the show could make this work! And they could build the finale of that episode, or even better make it a 2 parter like the season premiere is.
    Just my thoughts

  • @ryanwessell4279

    I would say the relationship of Mike and Saul/Jimmy has always been strained. From the first episode of BCS, with the "stickers" sub plot culminating in Jimmy hitting the button for the gate when Mike isn't looking, it is surprising that their relationship by "Bag Man" is so good. It seems to me that Mike makes use of Saul when needed, and Jimmy/Saul is often desperate to be useful to Mike. Remember all the times when Jimmy wants to help Mike and Mike says "Bill me" or "You get the next one (the elevator)". The closest they ever have come so far (socially) is when they were forced to help each other get out of the desert in "Bag Man", but even after that Mike is tracking Saul to make sure he doesn't say anything that would be bad for Gus (when Lalo shows up to see Jimmy and Kim). The bottom line is, I don't think they ever had a close relationship. Mike views Saul as a tool and that, I believe is how Saul and Gus become acquainted ("I know a guy who knows a guy"). By the time of Breaking Bad, Saul is scared of Mike.

    Part way through and I’ve noticed a few mistakes: Firstly, you mixed up the Marie thing. The battery part, along with the clips in the video, is from Season 1. She was meant to appear in 2x10 with Marie just meant to give results, but they brought back the other Doctor to give continuity as well as Marie’s appearance taking the shine away from the Chuck storyline. Also, we actually did see Jesse and Jane visit the art gallery in 3x11 in a missing scene. Finally, you say you want to see Huel take the cigarette ala Huel with Chuck, but we got exactly that in 4x12 when he ‘Searched him for weapons’ but it transpired that he had taken the cigarette.
    As for my hopes, the two spots I can legitimately see happening that you isn’t mention it. Firstly, in 2x08 in the classroom with Saul and Walt, Saul says ’my P.I. charged me for three hours, so I seriously doubt it took him more than one’. Here we could see Saul telling Mike to investigate Walt, as well as seeing Mike tail him etc.. The other placement is in 2x13 when Jesse phones Walt for help after Jane died and Walt says I know who to call- this time we see the phone call between Walt and Saul and then Saul sending Mike. I think those two are plausible.
    Nacho won’t last the season so definitely won’t be a flash forward with him. Could see Kim or Howard visit the car wash, I think that’s plausible, but as much as I’d love to see a Breaking Bad flash forward with Nacho and Jesse or Walt and Lalo, I think that’s too much to ask.
