This is without a doubt the best prequel and spinoff ever made.
No reply cause everyone agrees
Imo, Fraiser is as good as better call saul.
Cheers and night Court kind of I guess would be another one
No lie
Prequel, yes! Spinoff? Idk, there's a ton of really amazing spin offs out there.
The vacuum cleaner repairman and Mike have both been in all three Breaking Bad worlds
Mike was dead in El Camino, he was only in the flash backs to the breaking bad world.
@@charbat2408 he was on the movie, thats what counts
@@charbat2408 oh and by that logic Kim wexler isnt in the breaking bad universe because she is only in bcs and that takes place before breaking bad, therefore it is a flashback and according to your dumb ass, doesn't really count.
This was posted before season 5 and Forster had not yet appeared on BCS
@@salmonellq2981 Ha ha ha
“If you’re committed enough, you can make any story work. I once told a woman I was Kevin Costner, and it worked... Because I believed it.”
GIANCARLO G. GUERRA don’t tell me that’s a shot at the UK ....
I wish the creators didnt want to "leave the series alone"
They could announce 3 more spinoffs and 2 more movies and I would still be extremely excited to watch all of it, probably twice
Hopefully they do one on Gus. His background is so fascinating
@@Hasan-hm5fy exactly what I was thinking. It's hard to De-age actors without the budget skyrocketing but if they made a series/movie about him basically going from Chile to the Cartel I would clear my schedule to see it.
Lol. They should take a page from marvel and do this for a while
@@SovereignMax Nope. The quality will inevitably decline if they start making heaps of spinoffs. I'd much rather them finish off Better Call Saul and leave it at that. Besides, I think it would be more interesting to see what Gilligan can do with an all fresh idea outside of the BB universe.
Once BCS is over, all I want is one or two more movies that involve Jesse and Saul.
RIP Robert Forster. He passed away on the day El Camino dropped on Netflix.
Robert Forster was just amazing. Amazing. For me, he will always be Max Cherry.
It's awesome that he still appeared in the Better Call Saul season 5 flash foward intro
I would watch a Nacho spin-off. I thought his character was so great and then saw him go home and it completely threw me for a loop. Not even close to what I was expecting.
He's also a brilliant actor
@@kamelwurm3453 absolutely. I enjoy his story as much as Jimmy and Mike.
@@kamelwurm3453 because he is such a great actor.
Seeing Nacho in BCS and knowing he wont be anywhere in BB really makes his story better. Everything is way more risky, he can die at any time
I LOVE Nacho's sharacter
I'm currently re-watching BB and finding that I don't enjoy it quite as much as Better Call Saul. It's kind of funny, though, because the things I'm enjoying about it is the character development and stage-setting for BB. So while it literally could not exist without BB, BCS is the better show to me.
Much agreed. 😎👍
I disagree but I understand your reasoning. But either way they’re the two best shows ever made
This tbh
@@masonotene2309 bcs the goat tho g
I love better call Saul more too
15:30 - “what would that anagram even spell with those extra 3 letters” - (GUS) FRINGS BACK
Reed McCool yeah how’d he not think of that?
If Kim becomes Wendy that would be the most sad think after Jesse Pinkman.
That's ridiculous - Kim becoming Wendy.
This is the exact moment a lawyer became a prostitute
She doesn’t :)
Ed was probably just referring to the fact Jimmy gave up his life as Saul and went into hiding. Since El Camino takes place immediately after Breaking Bad it doesn't seem likely his ultimate fate happened yet.
Number 68, the worlds best lawyer thing, could also be a easter egg from when Odenkirk almost became Michael Scott
21:30 You know Krazy 8 is ACTUALLY in the show, right?
Domingo
Yes
I like "Better Call Saul" more: Firstly because I've been an admirer Bob Odenkirk's comedic genius going back to the early 90s but especially in the "Mr. Show" years with David Cross. The fact that a man only known for comedy (and the comic relief of "Breaking Bad") could go so head-first into a dramatic role and NAIL IT is a thrill. The second reason is because it's giving all the lovable baddies of "Breaking Bad" a second go, a greater dive into the complexity of their characters. The writing is just as good as "Breaking Bad" with the security of knowing the expiration date of many of the characters.
My opinion is that they are both perfect in their own way. Breaking Bad is a very plot driven show. Although they do spend a lot of time on the characters, the main focus is the plot. That makes the show a very fast paced, action packed rollercoaster ride. The genius of it is that the character development is still very well done, which is what sets Breaking Bad apart from every other plot driven show.
Better Call Saul however is a very character driven show. The plot takes a backseat, and we spend a lot more time simply watching the characters interact and grow. This means the plot is much more of a slow burn, and takes a lot longer to build up. During all that time, the characters are able to be fleshed out so much more, so although the plot isn't as exciting as Breaking Bad's, the characters within the plot are way more interesting and engaging to watch.
@@simonaiello2349 That's right on. Fantastic analysis. I really do like slower character-driven plots so it makes sense why I like BCS as much as I do. There's a great deal of that "silent film" type acting Kubrick was famous for in this series -- where often silent, prolonged the expressions of each character speak volumes without words. Those gaps are pure magic. The sleep driving accident scene was AMAZING, I've never seen anything done so perfect to how it would be in real life and how it made us a part of that experience. We are all truly spoiled because in this day and age we are enjoying cinematic art in long form. This is a new golden age.
Name Kim's spin off "The WEX- Files"
In the scene in which Saul talked about Igniacio he also mentioned Lalo. He asks if Lalo send them to kill him
Is anyone else find this guys commentary between "facts" incredibly hard to watch?
Well, apparently he phased out Jennifer Lawrence.
Yora what do you mean phase out
@@austinthibodeaux9291 I am pretty sure there was no Jennifer Lawrence stalker joke this video. He used to do one every time.
That's what happens when mediocre people try too hard to be entertaining. It's grating.
Ryan Horsley thanks
Odenkirk is color blind? wow never knew that
People keep saying its Bob Odenkirk but I keep seeing Kevin Costner on the screen
Imagine getting killed by Meth Damon
Why did he say Meth Damon?
Oh they were joking lol okay xd
He looks like Matt Damon. He was in a show about cooking meth.
Drew Sharp: triggered
#47 - the windshield breaking - perfect opportunity to talk about that being a shtick in Breaking Bad, for Walt.
TRUE!!
I cringe on behalf of us all at your pronunciation of “Los Pollos Hermanos.”
I cringe when he tries to be funny at all
@@fernie5574 ^
Also "Armadillo" instead of "Amarillo"
And any other spanish pronunciation
it’s said so much in the series i don’t understand how he messes it up
This guys burstingly vibrant voice has made the 101 facts quite a challenge. I am at 21th and can't keep going because of the commentating effort. Thanks a lot dude.

So this channel has officially coined the term "reverse Kathleen Kennedy" for planning projects ahead of time.
i laughed so hard when he said that, its exactly what they meant, i love it
Robert John Odenkirk is one of the best actors ever !
Everyone misses the most interesting fact imo....Michael McKean was in an episode of Mr Show with Bob where He played a law professor and Bob played a law student.....funny skit Btw
That should've been Fact 24, because 24 is the highest number.
Also for letter 62 😂 the extra three letters that were supposed to be there, you said “Frings Back Hun?” What? No.. it was obviously Gus Frings Back-
42 is the meaning of life, the universe, and everything. It’s not 43
Edit: You just had the wrong graphic for 42
Unlike a certain big-budget zombie and dragon show where the writers just stopped giving a fuck, there are a lot of conscious, deliberate decisions made to make Better Call Saul as good as it is by Vince and his crew (and no joke, in some areas even better than Breaking Bad). Small set, intimate character studies, committed performances by the actors...That's quality!
I watched all the seasons of Better Call Saul and then El Camino and THEN Breaking Bad
It went as well as you’d hoped.
This should be illegal.
I dont know if people have said this, but I belive the guy who plays Nacho is also the guy who plays Vaas in Far Cry 3.
Same guy, Michael Mando
Oh yeaaaah. I couldn't place it but I knew I'd seen Nacho somewhere before!
Very cool video. I like the Costner reference.😂 I also like the accent. I am kind of surprised that this is so well understood abroad. This show is extremely American playing on regional stereotypes - Southwest, Chicago, Philadelphia - to name a few. Well done it must have taken forever to put this together.
Why do people always assume a character will "transition" to another personality in an exact point of the story? I've heard comments like "this is the point where Walt transforms into Heisenberg" or "this is where Jimmy becomes Saul" while it's totally inaccurate. Can't people just accept that it's a long, progressive transition? Cause that's the purpose of Breaking Bad and Better Sall Saul to begin with.
Senritsu people liked to simplify things and make themselves look like deep thinkers
If they’re gonna make another spinoff they should make it about Mike. He’s one of my favorite characters.
The intro gets more distorted each episode, because it is taped in a VHS tape and the more it is played (for 50 episodes) the quality deteriorated
17:05 Saul bought that same bottle of tequila to celebrate the closing of the class action against Sandpiper Crossing. He ended up sharing the shots with Fancesca since Kim was so busy overworking herself she falls asleep at the wheel and totals her car in the next scene.
McKean played a "Slipping Jimmy" in Short Circuit 2
Oh man I've never been this early to a 101 Facts video before.
Love your shiz!!
If Mike had his own show it would be so good
Agreed but his parts in BCS and BB are great as is
better call saul is the best series I've ever seen. I get why some prefer BB, but BCS has so much more polished writing and dialogue, on top of that the cinematography and editing shots are a step up, which is saying alot because BB was beautiful.
Its good to see a new video about better call saul
Ed is now the second character to be in all three lanes of the bb universe
You forgot to mention a lot of ee like lalo also existing in bb etc
make a part 2 including season 5 &6 !! i love all these facts.
I guess there is another one u missed is that jesse was introduced speaking to the cop (Hank's freind) they were talking about a possum dead under the poarch which jesse mentionned to walt in the lab on the episode of the fly (contamination).
I think there should be some single season spin-offs like Gus' history, Grey-matter and Kim Wexler
It'll be hard to do a Gus prequel considering his age. But I'd definitely love to see a Gray Matter show. It'll give a lot more meaning to Breaking Bad if we get to see the full backstory of Walt.
Extra fact: Michael Mando is the actor who plays Nacho. Michael Mando is also the mo-cap and voice actor for the villain Vaas in Far Cry 3
I love living in Albuquerque NM i meet alot of the actors from Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad
I call bull shit
My sister lives there and has actually been an extra in 3 episodes .She plays a waitress at Forque. FORQUE is a real restaurant that's part of The Hyatt (where she also works)
@@jessicahelton4882 Albuquerque is really not that big,if you live there you can ID many exterior shots,(I don't know about meeting the actors in the streets though)
Yeah I met Wendy the girl who walks the street in the show she is a girl that lives in Santa Fe I also met Dean's partner he is a public school administrator he works on the board for the public schools I also met the guy who plays Tuco
@@serenayanez9803 That's cool ,I hear the guy who plays Gomez (Deans partner)also does Stand up there in Albq.I know there is a lot of movies shot around the city ( b4 covid)My sister has done a lot of extra work.
I'm surprised you didn't talk about Bob Odenkirk's work on Tim & Eric.
Or Mr. Show, which I heard is what gave him the role of Saul.
Very informative. Thank you!
"Better Call Saul" is my favorite TV series om cable since start for the very first time..
I want a show about Jessie in Alaska--He becomes a carpenter who takes down drug rings. Like a super hero.
Great show, love bb, ec and bcs. Keep up the good work
Love it! Thank you for this vid :)
wanna see better show than breaking bad?
Better Watch Saul
Vince Gilligan needs to just make a Rise of Gus prequel
Just finished BB for the 5th time. Now watching BCS for the 2nd time. Absolutely love BCS.
Brilliant acting, outstanding production and picturesque Albuquerque, NM Were the major reasons for it's success. I grew up in Albuquerque, and for me, that was one of my favorite take aways. There are dozens of great resturants in the Duke City. I wish this had gone on forever! Well....... There are always re-runs!
23:01 "Number 92" Yes, good ole number 92
"What would that anagram even spell with those extra 3 letters though?"
If only Gustavo Fring's name could be shortened down to three letters! If only such a nickname existed.
But no, "Frings back hun" makes sense.
I’ve never understood how Jimmy has a tailor he visits, and yet his suits always fit terribly.
He wants to stand out.
I’m ready to get my heart broken
I didn't understand a word you said in this video, dude! slow it down a little bit!
What song is that in the background cuz i cant stop rewaching this vid to hear it
This show is SO underrated.
Yes, I'm talking about 101Facts❤️
FYI, no doz is a real thing in the US. basically legal over the counter speed. popular with truckers and college students and others (cough, cough). at least it was in the 90s.
It's a thing is Australia aswell. Your not special baby dick
93 shows up when he says 92, then again when he says 93.
Lol Wendy is in better call saul so so much for that theory
we might need a redo on this now that the show is over
Jimmy/Saul says “poof“ a lot.
Well the two failed marriages thing is solved now
🤣🤣😂😂 can’t stop laughing at “Matt Damon” lol
Regardless of what Jimmy does, we love him. We know the outcome but root for Jimmy all the same. Jimmy represents all the dreamers who struggle, never quite win, but absolute never give up.
Ima need that Kim wexler spin off 🔥😈🥵😍
13:56 "Meth Damon" is a good one. I call Jesse Plemons "Fat Damon" due to his weight gain in recent roles.
Number 44 is even cooler than that because the same dented trash can can be seen in a later episode when the camera is on the floor
What would they do with the letters from 3 more episodes? Uh...how about Gus Fring's Back.
Wow....really?
Fring's back blown my mind
Not gonna lie, I sorta like Better Call Saul more than Breaking Bad... they’re just two juggernauts. And two different beings.
Thank you so much for calling him Meth Damon
Im confused about the partof the windshield, if that was accidental, when saul says "so how about we start negotiating about the broken windshield" was that improvised?
Can you please do a video on Tennessee
2 more days for my favorite show to air. Aww man
Seriously thought you said, “Greetings, motherfackers!”
The Breaking Bad theme sounds completely different from the Better call Saul theme to me but whatever...
Probably a really good video, ruined by an over acting, annoying AF commentator trying too hard to be entertaining. Had to stop after 45 seconds.
This isn’t a yelp review
personally i want a spin off about gus and how he started
called los pollos hermanos
and starts just before he meets don eladio
THROB WITH SADNESS
Skyler, walt junior, hanks wife, skinny pete, badger survived tf are you talking abiut
Luka Zec lol
Season 5 starts tomorrow. Yippie!
Fact #55 [13:52] after the bartender warns him Mike he says "ill be on the lookout" a direct reference to his role in the methlamine hiest.
Do you think you could do a 101 facts about the Percy Jackson (AKA the Camp Half-blood series)
Haward almost being called burt reminds me of mad men's burt Cooper who also was a partner of a major company. Could be why they changed it
I would watch a sequel of the young characters, like Nacho, Mike's granddaughter and the little girl who lost the scholarship of HHM but got a (potentially) life changing pep talk from Jimmy.
3:05 hey just trust were only here for the minimal amount of work
It’s all good man.
There also used to be a Vegas lawyer to the mob called Goodman. Similar "slippy" character to Jimmy/saul. I've never heard it said, but I feel saul Goodman might be based on him
Colorblind doesnt mean you see in Black and white, he would still have seen that the suits were colorful
i don't understand number 61 what is he talking about how you take the first letter of the show title and rearrange it to give you a clue for the next episode?? please someone explain this to me!!!
“Fring’s Back lol”
15:42 Gus Frings Back is what I'm assuming Vince wanted to put
I was suprised that the number background only changes around every 33 number
