Thurmond WV is a Train Lovers and a Foamers Paradise. It's a "MUST" on most people's list to see and film some Trains. This place used to be Bustling and the home of the Longest Poker Game ever. Went on for years. Super Nice Video Dave. I'm Jealous. I still have to make my 1st Visit there.
Cool video Dave, you took some great shots! I heard it’s a train lovers paradise, it’s on my bucket list. The guy who was in my last video has a channel called The Tolle Road, made a video a while back of Thurmond. He does travel videos too.

Nice video of what was a bustling community, thanks to the Chesapeake & Ohio Railway. It was a major refill stop for steam lcomotives, that changed with deisel engines. Several hundred once lived there. Sorry to hear you're done for the year. Looking forward to great things in 2025.
Great video! I haven’t been back home in about 20 years now but I’m hoping next year I can make it out to WV for a few weeks and go revisit all these places.
