I'm glad you're talking about lemon balm. It springs up each year in my garden and I just repotted a plant. Because I do gardening too.
And I'll be planting a scarlet runner which attracts bees and humming birds. Also there is a canna lily in the corner which will attract humming birds.
We have a small garden and I'm making optimal use of it this year with edibles.

Can I drink this tea while on antiderpessants and benzos my doctor say it's okay to drink it because I'm tapering down benzos and I really wanna something to calm me down and help with anxiety and depression....?
I’ve just started drinking turmeric tea with lemon balm leaves from the garden every morning and it really helps relieve my anxiety. I must admit I was surprised it worked so effectively. It actually is helping me taper off some difficult medication too, seems to help a little with the cravings. I wish I’d known this stuff years ago, I’ve been filled with pharmaceuticals for decades, prefer this natural path to healing.
Hey, I'm on a cocktail of meds too. Can I ask what meds lemon balm helped you taper off? (My guess is benzos).
@@bobros1337 yep that’s one of them😅. I get anxiety increasing when I’m due my next dose so I don’t even have to look at the clock to know what time it is. I’ve noticed that tension has eased off some, I even go past my dosage time without noticing at times. This doesn’t sound like much but I’m so tied to these meds they run my life. Any sense of freedom from them is a good feeling for me. I’m can sometimes do without the odd dose too now which again is a step forward. I had to fast taper off fentanyl a few years ago to qualify for surgery, the surgeon was shocked at the amount I was on. The fast tapering took a lot more of my health, I lost an awful lot of weight and have never regained it. Now I want to take things slow and steady😅.

Lemon Balm grows wild in my garden but not as large as the shrub in the video. I really enjoyed watching and it has re-ignited my love of plants and their medical uses. Looking forward to watching more. Also loved the guitar music.

Is this from the oregano family? I have a similarly plant and we call it in Spanish oregano brujo. Looks similar and when rubbed is very watery and I use it for insect bites. Awsome plant!
I was literally just walking around my sheds and noticed something that looked like mint. I picked a bit and was expecting to smell a traditional mint but I was hit with a huge amount of lemon terpenes.
I looked up lemon mint and I was led to this video. I love your style great video. ❤
The mint I picked smells like lemon and it has a square stalk but leaves are not heart-shaped they are more like a teardrop. Now I'm wondering if it's just immature or a different species.

Hi there I have lemon balm, that must have taken root from somewhere else but at first I thought it to be a weed as at that time I had no knowledge of what it was until
I got a computer, so I was weeding it out and putting into my compost bin and this just grew a greater amount of worms and this also gave birth to better compost
all happening out of ignorance. However, when I have allowed it to grow, I find it growing like mint getting everywhere, so may I suggest that it be potted on or grown in
a raised bed and if wanted in higher amounts try feeding with seaweed fertilizer and mine is now next to a few tomatoe plants which is growing well besides this.
I thank you for your video's, stay safe when among some poisnous plants and always tell us so much more about these plants that could be very bad for children
playing among them and for our cats/dogs/pets please but also what may be known to have benefits for them too.
