There’s a difference between a rare skin and a good skin, and the skull trooper is the perfect example of people getting mad over a mediocre skin returning for October.
Hardly a mediocre skin. It’s perfectly simple and defined what fortnite skins were supposed to be... fun and goofy, unlike a lot of the skins that come out today which are horrendous as the designers try to put way too much detail in them
Compare it side to side with a maxed out drift or Carbide. It may have defined the fortnite skins, but the skin “itself” is still mediocre compared to now. It’s not even a contest. The skin has points going for it in its impact, but for the skin “itself”, it’s mediocre. The skins now have way more creativity and shows passion, like it or not, the skins nowadays are technically “better” because they have more detail, depth, and even unlockable styles. It’s more creative, either way.
I mean i get it. Having the skull skin was something to be proud of. It showed your dedication and support for the game but now evryone and their dog is going to have it. The game equivalent of giving everyone a superbowl ring even the teams that suck.
