This puzzle is actually more difficult than I expected, and not because of its size. Each of the 8 panels is stamped from two identical dies. That means that the pieces from the right hand side of the panel can be swapped for pieces at identical location from the left hand side of the panel. Keep in mind that even without this added complexity the pieces are at times very similar. What this means is that pieces forming solid colors spanning across one panel are easily confused. This is a problem for the skyline, the black railing and certain buildings. The difference is at times very hard to catch, nearly impossible for my eyes anyways. This is why I chose to do the black railing and skies at the end. It was easier to figure our which of each identical set of pieces belonged to which side of the panel. One may think that it doesn't matter, but if you look at even the railing its obvious as one scans from left to right, the shade of black changes. It's more obvious for the sky and large buildings.

At current stage 40,320 is the biggest, but I have no desire to build 10 x Disney character panels.

I am doing a deathly hallows puzzle, its dark all different shades of blue. All the edging is dark with no details and we are going crazy

Looking at this video I realise Im not organized at all when Im doing puzzles. Oh and I notice that I just put the 2000p Ravensburger puzzle of the same motive together. Fun to see all the buildings scaled up.

How did you mount and hang this. I'm working on the last panel of this puzzle tight now and I'm trying to figure out the best way to mount it without it being too heavy or awkward.

Just remember if you are struggling with 1000 pieces these are are just 4000 piece panels, so it’s not 32,000 piecesmixed together

Do they come pre packed into panels? If not. How do you know which piece is which panel
Yes! 8 bags of 4000p each
so its actually not one puzzle but 8 which u can add toghether...
you should have stacked the panels on top of each other when doing the puzzle, the pieces are shaped same in each panel, in fact right and left halves of a panel are same too (which causes frustrating misplacements), so there are only 2000 different shaped pieces repeated 16 times. i finished mine in 2 months.
There are actually four identical cuttings per panel, not two, so ~1k different pieces
The largest puzzle I have done is 1500, anything larger will not fit on my puzzle table.

Please, please, please can I have your best advice for the blue skies? I was going really fast, but really got stuck with all the pieces being the same color!
having the same problem on a watercolor puzzle. all the colors just smear together and theyre really odd shapes.

there is no advice... you just have to keep trying... like trying one piece on more than one place and if it didnt fit put it in a box and try another in the same places and so on.... also try looking for certain shapes.
takes a lot of time and effort, but simply there is no other way.
get a friend or more to help.

you are making me look like a puzzle nerd ;) anyway no need to frame it as it is costly and hard to find, try to glue it "find videos on youtube" and hang it on the wall anyhow... use double sided tape or some strong glue
try to arrange the pieces by shape, with 1 beak, 2, 3.... that helped me a lot

In the Ronald McDonald house in Ohio there's a huge puzzle of underwater with fish that a mom made to help mourn the loss of her child. She donated the puzzle and they hung it up on a hallway wall
