I agree that companies should start doing crossovers like what the Jimmy/Timmy Power Hour did. Crossovers nowadays just have the characters meet up and acknowledge their canon universes. The Jimmy/Timmy specials still remain memorable to me for how they depicted many of the characters in the opposing artstyles, as well as poking fun at the qualities and faults of each other, and it's a shame that Nickelodeon (or any other studio for that matter), didn't try to work off of them after that.
to be fair SU kind of did something similar with having characters go to their respective universes and having animation or color styles different from the norm, but that crossover was also with a show that most found the quality questionable or horrid so most didnt even bother trying it. Plus the two respective show making groups did it as an april fools joke. . That's also one show that's recently done it, and now that i think about it crossover episodes on something not liveaction is pretty rare of late, as is movies based on said shows...i almost kind of want a movie based on a show that only airs on teh channel similar to the powerpuff girls origin story movie or the rugrats movies now that i think about it.

That's why I was disappointed of Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney, that just had two characters from each game to go onto a new adventure. The worst part is that old concept art seemed better (they had characters in the other game's art styles, they had more characters from each games, they had dark versions of the characters). Instead we had a story that practically was Professor Layton with a cameo of Phoenix Wright and some of his game's mechanics.
The Jimmy Neutron and Fairly Odd parents was a good crossover. Something I wish for Teen Titans and the Powerpuff Girls, the original ones. That new crossover that they're going to do, well I'm already dead inside..so time to overkill me
I believe there's a channel called Boomerang that uses the old cartoons. Old as in original Tom and Jerry old, Yogi Bear old, Huckleberry Hound old. I believe they picked up the original Powerpuff Girls though.

In all honesty, the series was awesome. Especially season 3. Things just got so funny, intense, scary, romantic, and epic that season. The movie was okay. It does have some good things about it. But The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius is still one of my favorite Nicktoons. But I really love both the movie and the series.

For me it happened when watching Spongebob episode "Hooky". They were in the middle of making the pledge, and then boom. It was jarring an hilarious and I wish they did it more often.
I was hoping he would have talked more about marketing hype for this film because throughout the year of 2001, Nickelodeon marketed the shit out of this with music videos, Trident commercials, Macy balloons, shorts, and just what you mentioned, the way he would come out of the Nickelodeon bug on the screen and mess with the programming. In the end, the film was okay, but it felt too short, even at eight years old.

Like make the TV show your watching get dubbed in spanish or turn the characters on screen into puppets for a few seconds. I want to talk about that if I ever do a vid on Jimmy again. This video was already long enough.

I REMEMBER THAT! I saw that when I was 2 as I was that age when the movie came out. I've been looking for it forever but just can't seem to find it.
I was hoping he would have talked more about marketing hype for this film because throughout the year of 2001, Nickelodeon marketed the shit out of this with music videos, Trident commercials, Macy balloons, shorts, and just what you mentioned, the way he would come out of the Nickelodeon bug on the screen and mess with the programming. In the end, the film was okay, but it felt too short, even at eight years old.
