Michelin guide is bias and many 1 star restaurants in Paris serve very average French cuisine. Our Michelin awards are much more diverse. Also the brassieres in Paris serve very average food compared to most pubs here in London. However I agree London looses because we throw away much more food, bakeries / cheese mongers / fish mongers etc are lacking and we have leaned towards a more processed American style of conscience in our supermarkets. Paris is the winner for ingredients / produce. London is the winner for the variety of food on offer.

French cuisine, is a fair representation of them as a nation. They eat things u find in ur back garden, like frogs and snails because they're scared of everthing else. Theyd be speaking german if it wasnt for english bread

French may have more michelin star restaurants, known for fine dining and upper class eateries but most of the new younger generation all prefer Western junk food anyway. Your average French person does not dine high class.

You missed the accessibility part. Of course there’s good bread available in London, but not every street has a Gail’s around the corner, unlike in Paris when there’s boulangeries almost everywhere

It’s not rude. It’s a long standing joke. As an English woman who doesn’t take things that seriously and who enjoys our food, it’s not that serious. 🤷‍♀️ He was actually incredibly fair to us in this. When he introduced the concept, immediately gave the point to Paris. 🤭
