My theorie is that kimono lady is tryng to possess Fatima, hence why Fatima has been eating dead/rotten stuff. Kimono lady has been getting stronger too, first she only appeared in dreams and now she appears while Elgin is awake, she's talking AND touching him? Feeding Fatima her weird diet seems to work I think she might have been pregnant when she died and that's why Fatima had a positive pregnancy test even she isn't the one pregnant.

The way victor was talking to Henry about jasper “oh well get him to talk” just shows his f around and find out energy again 😂. The tone he said that in makes it seem like he’s about to put his gun to jaspers head to get him to talk lol
I like Henry so far, he just goes along with no questions asked ,especially seeing the craziness with the creatures and being around Tabitha. He trust anything and everything Victor, Tabitha and probably even Jade.
My sister has a theory for Fatima !! Ellis & Fatima should spend the night at the clinic & try doing the ultra sound at night time. What if something shows up on the monitor. Makes sense with everything that goes down in the town at night 🧐🤔

I think that Victor may be untouchable. Between him living by himself in the town and him going to the tunnels several times, they let him live for some reason. Victor has to be a major part of the town’s creation.
Another interesting point since Victor had no desire to go home had nothing happening since everyone died. besides just living in his daily life, and since he constantly forgot things leaving them to crayons and paper, I don't think the town could even touch him
What I love most about your breakdown/reviews are that they extend the episode in a way. I'm always bummed when the episode is over, but glad I have these to look forward to. That being said, the surprise Karen monster in the tunnels scared the bejesus out of me.
Somebody a few weeks ago tried to make the point that Tabitha is Eloise (victors sister) and I completely shit on him and his theory lol I quickly went back just now and apologized to that man. Lol he was right and that’s rare to see with these theories these days lol
I think she was just a chosen one. Abby also said she had dreams as a girl, but they didn’t get into it more before she died. Perhaps all the ones with dreams are these ankgooey kids
@@Just_me1278 nah bro I don’t think those as dreams though, I think Tabitha is Eloise and she got out as a kid, both her and victor have chosen to forget their past as it’s very traumatizing, she just revealed she was in the small village as a kid (reason Eloise disappeared from Victor) maybe the people of that village protected her and allowed her to escape fromville, maybe next episode Jim gets visited by a villager from the town and they explain that they raised Tabitha there or something. I find it weird that they don’t show Jim going to the village so maybe next episode they get more into that.

I think I know what the Kimono woman is. She is an Ubume. In Japanese folklore, an Ubume is the entity of a woman who died before or after childbirth wearing a bloodstained kimono. She can appear as a walking corpse.They ask for help from the living. Ubume can also be translated as “child snatching bird!” Sounds familiar to me.
Wait....child snatching bird...like the crow that flew in when Fatima was getting her fortune read....then killed itself next to a sleeping Elgin. 😮 I genuinely think you’ve figured it out

I laugh throughout on all of the shade thrown!🤣 Something I thought about was with Julie, Randell & Marielle-What if they are becoming the hear no evil, speak no evil and see no evil? Julie is already having issues with the sounds, Randell was cut in the face near his mouth and maybe we will see Marielle have problems with her vision. It makes sense to me😊 I would still be your campaign manager for Sheriff even though you think the town meetings are a waste of time😂 You are the best!❤ Oh and I would rate this episode a 7 or 8!

Martin wasn't physically hurt by the Ruin entity so his could be hear no evil. He heard Boyd clearly, asked him if he is real. Might connect that that's how the entity tortured him.
Apart from the episode, the way you described how children get affected by their parents argument s is so true and i respect you for taking care of how your children see you with your wife talking respectfully, i was myself a victim of this ,my parents used to argue a lot and not just a little argument but a heated one with the worst insults over every small thing , the whole house is suddenly involved and knows what they're doing just by how loud they're, they never cared to hide it from us, the worst feeling i ever had was seeing my parents fight, even worse than the times they fought with me💔

So let me preface this by saying that part of what I do for a living involves history, mythology and only occasionally folklore. However, for the purposes of not only my own curiosity but yours as well, I switched gears slightly and did some research about yokai, Japanese ghosts and specifically Japanese folklore. This is what I found: Onryō are the ghosts of people who died with such strong passions-jealousy, rage, or hatred-that their soul is unable to pass on. Instead, they transform into powerful, wrathful spirits who seek vengeance on everything they encounter. Often they were victims of war, catastrophe, betrayal, murder, or suicide-and they display wounds or marks indicative of the way they died. Their motive is always the same -vengeance. They prefer letting the object of their hatred live a long life of torment and suffering, watching loved ones die in their stead. Onryō inflict a terrible curse on the people or places that they haunt. Occasionally, an onryō’s curse is born not out of hatred and retribution, but from an intense, passionate love that perverts into jealousy. These onryō haunt their former lovers but if that’s not possible then they will spend time exacting their wrath on new romances. Now I know what you’re thinking, what’s that have to do with Fatima eating garbage and blood though, right? And why is she wet and looks like this lady hasn’t eaten in a long time? I think Fatima and the kimono lady might have some type of connection. I noticed the more dead Fatima gets the more alive the kimono lady becomes. She’s starting to get facial features and talk now. It’s something there I can’t quite put my finger on
It feels like there's a connection between Elign, Fatima and Ellis. We tend to see scenes of Elign and the Kimono lady right after a scene with Fatima. In season two, Elign's reaction when the bus pulled in, was as if he was aware of Fromville in some way. The Kimono lady being next to Fatima in the picture seemed to confirm there is a connection between the two. Im wondering if Fatima is actually the Kimono lady and Elign is her child. The ultrasound shows no pregnancy because Elign is already born. Also, I do not trust Marielle. It seems like everyone she's " helped" ends up worse. She tried to help Nicki by removing the bullet. Nicki ends up dying from internal bleeding. She made it seem like Fatima's baby was fine, gave her medication and now there is no baby. She is also the only one of the three to be fine from the cicadas. Similar to Boyds wife, her role is to start taking people out...
I think the "Town" is playing mindgames with all of them, giving them hope, messing with their minds and trying to break them. The only two people who seem to be on to something are Viktor and Jade. Viktor was already told "We let you survive, but enough is enough" and Jade seems to be on "his" radar as well.
I agree. However, saying things like; "we let you survive", is such lazy writing. Like, how? Because is a main character? Because he is a threat? A threat should be killed, not "letting alive"
Of course Dona was shocked. She's the kind of headstrong woman that everyone thinks can take on the world. But she's human, she's got softness and world of hurt on the inside and having someone acknowledge that in something as simple and powerful as a hug could get to anyone. Plus it's one of those moments where you're really trying to hold back your tears and the moment someone hugs you, you're ready to crumble
Anyone else over Tabitha 'a vocabulary being " I don't know, no no, I can't " and honestly, she's seen the kids 3 times, jade's seen the kids, obviously they aren't trying to hurt you. This place has shown if it wants to hurt you it absolutely will. At this point just start talking to the kids see if they can talk to you at this point totally agree with you 👏🏻😮
Fromville is clearly just a cycle and the numbers on the bottle tree is years in which the cycle started and also i don't think that tabitha is a reincarnation of miranda. I think that this place puts fear into people and later on kind of harvest them (killing all of them) and then a new cycle starts. And i think that in every cycle people get's roles. So one person goes to the lighthouse to save the kids, one sees the symbols and jasper like jade, 3 people get locked in the duengon like martin did. And then after some time the cycle repeats and new people get the same "roles". So my theory is that this place needs to be solved and when It's solved it all stops and no one will ever go back to Fromville. And when a "cycle" fails and the people don't solve the place It "resets" and new people arrive and some people get these roles with vision and what not in order to solve the place.
I was wondering the same thing in this episode when they were in the cave, it would be great that Boyd finally catches one and experiments on them. I need to understand more about them.
I think the place and trees are a sort of pocket dimension thing like what Jade was saying. Also I've heard the creators said this season would be "the end of the beginning", I'm wondering if somehow this season will reveal something big about the place or one of these layers to it and move on from the town with new stuff. like Martin in season 2 said how the town was only "the tip of the spear."

@ I don’t think that Fatima is possessed by the Kimono lady but, rather that she is being cursed by the Kimono lady because she is the half of the young couple that was a bit more greedy. As far as asking for Elgin’s help, I’m still working on that. However, last night I got to speaking to my daughter who is very deep in the Japanese urban legend games and she informed me of a story where there was a (maybe pregnant) Japanese woman who was drowned in the bathtub. This lady will haunt her victims until they take a bath and then drown them. So maybe that’s why Elgin hasn’t washed himself??? In the game though she has only one eye so maybe that also ties into last season. Basically though, I don’t think we can trust the kimono lady. Also, that inspiration for these characters is being pulled from various sources so we probably won’t get any definitive answers based off only a couple sources but by combining multiple stories from mythology, games and horror movies, we might get closer to a more educated guess.
In terms of Fatima, I saw in another Fromily theory video, that she took a pregnancy test and it came up positive. So she’s pregnant, but the baby isn’t showing up because of how Fromville is supernaturally charged. Also, I really like the idea that Fatima has a Japanese curse attached to her and it’s manifesting in Fromville and because Elgin has supernatural gifts that’s why it’s reaching out to him for help. But I definitely got even more questions than answers but that what makes sci-fi/thriller/mystery fun to watch. It’s very interactive, very nerve racking 😂😭
@nocontextwhatever she's does i think they are trying to throw us off by putting dated clothes on her, but after a while in Fromville u may be forced to wear hand made clothes or some u found because there are no department stores.
I just remembered when Fatima was pissed off and frustrated by the monsters, they mentioned "you will feel better if you come outside". Another hint, saying she is or is gonna be one of the monsters.
The biggest mystery about Tabitha is imo not the Anghkooey kids or her dreams as a child, but the bracelet thing. How did the bracelet, she once made as a gift for her husband, end up in Fromville? And it is, by her own saying, the same bracelet, because she recognized some special marks on the beads.
What's funny is the town ran out of food, but it definitely dosent run out of alcohol! Jade stay drinking😂 the issue with Jim and Tabitha's argument? They both wrong but Tabitha literally left her kids in a place with literal monsters to go save some other kids that weren't hers? Ok

I love the idea of having everyone talk to Jade. But if he dies, we’re screwed! So telling 2 people and thoroughly documenting everything (which I know is hard, because paper is limited), would be the best option!
Making everyone just talk to Jade is the BEST idea I’ve seen in all of dang Fromville, esp if he has his assistant Ethan who is always on top of stuff and noticing the little details. They’d be home by Thanksgiving latest!
I have a theory about Randall. I believe the monsters made a deal with Randall to be a mole for them to spare his life. Randall is a individual that likes to be alone,but when Marielle asked him to move from the bus he instantly agreed with a little smirk on his face .I believe he's going to set someone up by letting the monsters in .What do you think

Breakdowns a few weeks ago noted the numbers on this painting. My guess is the number of paces between trees. He keeps crossing them off because “the forest is moving”
I think it's not a dream that Tabitha had, but a memory. I know this theory keeps floating around, but could she after all be Viktor's sister? I know she called her mom in the real world, but that doesn't mean she couldn't have been adopted. Is she, like Viktor, really good at blocking bad memories out?
She has an accent and her mom doesn't. That's why I think she's adopted. Maybe it's a reach and the writers just looked past it. But I'm banking on she's Victor's sister.
I agree. I think it’s definitely a chance that she’s Victor’s sister. She would’ve been still very young when she originally made it back into the real world. We all know trauma can have you block out alot of memories

I've been a FROM fan since the first season after watching the episodes on a free streaming site. However, the episodes for the second and third seasons were not available there so your vids have been a big help for me to catch up with my fave show.
Hi E-man! So far most of my predictions have not come to fruition haha but its all part of the fun! Just an observation from me this week...so I thought Fatima was pregnant with twins, turns out she's not pregnant at all, but didn't Marielle say that everything seems fine with the baby she did a lil check up on Fatima?? Hmm somethings up with that...maybe Marielle lied? Or perhaps Faitma is pregnant and it's not being picked up on by the ultrasound because electrical equipment does not work the same in Fromville...I don't know...but I love speculating! Haha
I love how many Reddit theories they're bringing up this season, just to shut them down. I honestly think them putting the zombie in the picture with Fatima is another one. And I'm really hoping them making Tabitha seem like Victor's sister is another misdirect and she just had dreams about the place.

I think that Victor may be untouchable. Between him living by himself in the town and him going to the tunnels several times, they let him live for some reason. Victor has to be a major part of the town’s creation.

I find it weird that they don’t show Jim going to the village so maybe next episode they get more into that.

I think I know what the Kimono woman is. She is an Ubume. In Japanese folklore, an Ubume is the entity of a woman who died before or after childbirth wearing a bloodstained kimono. She can appear as a walking corpse.They ask for help from the living. Ubume can also be translated as “child snatching bird!” Sounds familiar to me.

Ok Fromily I got you on this whole Fatima/Kimono lady connection and it’s not what you think (or maybe it is idk).
So let me preface this by saying that part of what I do for a living involves history, mythology and only occasionally folklore. Specifically what I do is usually involving the ancient gods from around the world. However, for the purposes of not only my own curiosity but yours as well, I switched gears slightly and did some research about yokai, Japanese ghosts and specifically Japanese folklore.
This is what I found: Onryō are the ghosts of people who died with such strong passions-jealousy, rage, or hatred-that their soul is unable to pass on. Instead, they transform into powerful, wrathful spirits who seek vengeance on everything they encounter. Often they were victims of war, catastrophe, betrayal, murder, or suicide-and they display wounds or marks indicative of the way they died.
Their motive is always the same -vengeance. They prefer letting the object of their hatred live a long life of torment and suffering, watching loved ones die in their stead. Onryō inflict a terrible curse on the people or places that they haunt. Occasionally, an onryō’s curse is born not out of hatred and retribution, but from an intense, passionate love that perverts into jealousy. These onryō haunt their former lovers but if that’s not possible then they will spend time exacting their wrath on new romances.
Now I know what you’re thinking, what’s that have to do with Fatima eating garbage and blood though, right? And why is she wet and looks like this lady hasn’t eaten in a long time? Don’t worry, I found the story that might be based off of too. I think it’s probably a combination of some of these things… unless you have a better idea then please lmk.

Anyway, I’m not going to say exactly how I believe these two characters apply to both Fatima and the Kimono lady and the exact nature of the connections, but I will say that I believe Fatima is at the receiving end of a Japanese curse. I think Fatima and the kimono lady might have some type of connection. I noticed the more dead Fatima gets the more alive the kimono lady becomes. She’s starting to get facial features and talk now. It’s something there I can’t quite put my finger on
She’s possessing her. That’s why Elgin saw her right behind Fatima on the Polaroid.
It feels like there's a connection between Elign, Fatima and Ellis. We tend to see scenes of Elign and the Kimono lady right after a scene with Fatima. In season two, Elign's reaction when the bus pulled in, was as if he was aware of Fromville in some way. The Kimono lady being next to Fatima in the picture seemed to confirm there is a connection between the two. Im wondering if Fatima is actually the Kimono lady and Elign is her child. The ultrasound shows no pregnancy because Elign is already born.
Also, I do not trust Marielle. It seems like everyone she's " helped" ends up worse. She tried to help Nicki by removing the bullet. Nicki ends up dying from internal bleeding. She made it seem like Fatima's baby was fine, gave her medication and now there is no baby. She is also the only one of the three to be fine from the cicadas. Similar to Boyds wife, her role is to start taking people out...

I think the "Town" is playing mindgames with all of them, giving them hope, messing with their minds and trying to break them.
The only two people who seem to be on to something are Viktor and Jade.
Viktor was already told "We let you survive, but enough is enough" and Jade seems to be on "his" radar as well.

However, saying things like; "we let you survive", is such lazy writing. Like, how? Because is a main character? Because he is a threat? A threat should be killed, not "letting alive"
Of course Dona was shocked. She's the kind of headstrong woman that everyone thinks can take on the world. But she's human, she's got softness and world of hurt on the inside and having someone acknowledge that in something as simple and powerful as a hug could get to anyone. Plus it's one of those moments where you're really trying to hold back your tears and the moment someone hugs you, you're ready to crumble

Fromville is clearly just a cycle and the numbers on the bottle tree is years in which the cycle started and also i don't think that tabitha is a reincarnation of miranda. I think that this place puts fear into people and later on kind of harvest them (killing all of them) and then a new cycle starts. And i think that in every cycle people get's roles. So one person goes to the lighthouse to save the kids, one sees the symbols and jasper like jade, 3 people get locked in the duengon like martin did. And then after some time the cycle repeats and new people get the same "roles". So my theory is that this place needs to be solved and when It's solved it all stops and no one will ever go back to Fromville. And when a "cycle" fails and the people don't solve the place It "resets" and new people arrive and some people get these roles with vision and what not in order to solve the place.
How does this explain the buildings that are no older than the 50’s ?

Also I've heard the creators said this season would be "the end of the beginning", I'm wondering if somehow this season will reveal something big about the place or one of these layers to it and move on from the town with new stuff. like Martin in season 2 said how the town was only "the tip of the spear."

@ I don’t think that Fatima is possessed by the Kimono lady but, rather that she is being cursed by the Kimono lady because she is the half of the young couple that was a bit more greedy. As far as asking for Elgin’s help, I’m still working on that. However, last night I got to speaking to my daughter who is very deep in the Japanese urban legend games and she informed me of a story where there was a (maybe pregnant) Japanese woman who was drowned in the bathtub. This lady will haunt her victims until they take a bath and then drown them. So maybe that’s why Elgin hasn’t washed himself??? In the game though she has only one eye so maybe that also ties into last season.
Basically though, I don’t think we can trust the kimono lady. Also, that inspiration for these characters is being pulled from various sources so we probably won’t get any definitive answers based off only a couple sources but by combining multiple stories from mythology, games and horror movies, we might get closer to a more educated guess.
In terms of Fatima, I saw in another Fromily theory video, that she took a pregnancy test and it came up positive. So she’s pregnant, but the baby isn’t showing up because of how Fromville is supernaturally charged. Also, I really like the idea that Fatima has a Japanese curse attached to her and it’s manifesting in Fromville and because Elgin has supernatural gifts that’s why it’s reaching out to him for help. But I definitely got even more questions than answers but that what makes sci-fi/thriller/mystery fun to watch. It’s very interactive, very nerve racking 😂😭

The biggest mystery about Tabitha is imo not the Anghkooey kids or her dreams as a child, but the bracelet thing. How did the bracelet, she once made as a gift for her husband, end up in Fromville? And it is, by her own saying, the same bracelet, because she recognized some special marks on the beads.

I think it's not a dream that Tabitha had, but a memory. I know this theory keeps floating around, but could she after all be Viktor's sister? I know she called her mom in the real world, but that doesn't mean she couldn't have been adopted. Is she, like Viktor, really good at blocking bad memories out?
She has an accent and her mom doesn't. That's why I think she's adopted. Maybe it's a reach and the writers just looked past it. But I'm banking on she's Victor's sister.

I agree. I think it’s definitely a chance that she’s Victor’s sister. She would’ve been still very young when she originally made it back into the real world. We all know trauma can have you block out alot of memories

Just an observation from me this week...so I thought Fatima was pregnant with twins, turns out she's not pregnant at all, but didn't Marielle say that everything seems fine with the baby she did a lil check up on Fatima?? Hmm somethings up with that...maybe Marielle lied? Or perhaps Faitma is pregnant and it's not being picked up on by the ultrasound because electrical equipment does not work the same in Fromville...I don't know...but I love speculating! Haha
