That is a hard song to make your own when Etta enunciates everything so bright not a lass but aT lasT she pops every word like you are holding her back then just set her free on each and every word. That is why you can’t help but feel what she is saying in her song. She put tension in front so she can relieve the tension. Adds passion. By singing it level it’s smooth yes, but no passion, no build up no problem so no release. After all this ladies life just changed and she sees the world in this man someone she has been searching for her whole life.
